Inspired by the market, Chef César Murillo utilizes exceptional ingredients at the height of their season. His tasting menu reflects the Arts & Crafts approach of the dining room - complex layers of subtle craft beneath a simple decorative style.
We offer a five-course tasting menu with optional wine pairings. The menu is not á la carte.
Tables in the front room or patio, overlooking the pond, are seated first come, first serve. We do not hold tables. All tables for more than 4 people are seated in our main dining room.
We accept reservations for a maximum of 8 people at one table.
A cancellation charge of $25 per person is applied to all same day cancellations.

    We came here for my husband‘s birthday and had a wonderful evening, the staff went above and beyond to make it very special. The food was delicious. Everyone left very full and happy, a great memorable evening that we will remember for many years to come.

    This is our fourth or fifth time attending. Usually it's to celebrate our wedding anniversary. We were greeted warmly and they were well prepared for us. As usual, it was a great experience. Parking in prior years has always beed difficult, but not impossible. This year, because of a film crew taking up a block of parking, it was nearly impossible. It took over 40 minutes to get a parking space. Call the restaurant beforehand to get an assessment of the parking situation.

    Several at our table proclaimed our meals to be the best we’ve ever had. Each course was perfectly executed, plated and served. The dinner rolls and sweet potato butter are not mentioned on the menu but WOW. We are not typically Michelin star diners but we are foodies and we know brilliant food and this was it. Service impeccable. Will return for the next menu.

    This was my second visit to North Pond and it was excellent. We sat outside for brunch and it felt like Europe! The food, service and ambiance surpassed my expectations! I can’t wait to go back!

    We generally have dinner at North Pond for an annual special occasion but were able to have brunch this year for a birthday. While dinner turns out to be a bit of a splurge, brunch is a GREAT way to experience the creative flavors and beautiful setting of North Pond. I highly recommend it!

    The setting is beautiful. It is in the middle of Lincoln Park. The building itself and the dining rooms are in an elegant prairie school style. The menu was creative and delicious. The portions were right sized to get through a tasting menu. The wine list is very strong and hits multiple price points. The service was excellent and friendly.

    Impeccable. Perfection. From the greeting at the door, to each service staff member’s professional, friendly approach, to every bite of food we had, this was an outstanding experience. With guests from Boston and New York City, we all agreed this was at the top of of our dining experiences. Thank you to the entire team who contributed to it.
