Inspired by the market, Chef César Murillo utilizes exceptional ingredients at the height of their season. His tasting menu reflects the Arts & Crafts approach of the dining room - complex layers of subtle craft beneath a simple decorative style.

We offer a four-course tasting menu with optional wine pairings. The menu is not á la carte, however, it provides options for each of the courses.

North Pond is open for dinner Thursday through Sunday beginning at 5:30pm.
Sunday Brunch begins at 10:30am and is three-course prix fixe.

We do not offer valet parking.
Tables in the front room or patio, overlooking the pond, are seated first come, first serve. We do not hold tables.
All tables for more than 4 people are seated in our main dining room.
We accept reservations for a maximum of 8 people at one table.
A cancellation charge of $25 per person is applied to all same day cancellations.

    Highly recommend! I’ve been coming here for special occasions for over 15 years and while it never disappoints, the food and service last night were exceptional. The menu is seasonal and the spring preparations are outstanding. Everything was so fresh and flavorful. For a 5 course meal it is perfectly balanced and delicious but not overly rich, definitely room for dessert. The service is lovely as is the dining area. Easily the best fine dining in Chicago in a beautiful, singular setting. It’s pricey but so is everything these days and this place is worth it.

    I rarely leave reviews especially about restaurants but I just had to do it. North Pond was an incredible experience for my bf and I’s anniversary. Peter our server and the whole team at North Pond made us feel so special. They are like family there and we felt it. The food was amazing, the wine pairing - incredible. Worth every penny. Will definitely go back there. Highly recommend. Thank you North Pond.

    North Pond is consistently one of the best dining in Chicago. The venue is beautiful, inside and out, and tables are well spaced so that the vibrant atmosphere is conversation friendly. Service is impeccable, managing to seem both casual-friendly and highly attentive at the same time (a napkin that slid off my lap was immediately picked up and replaced). The food is exquisite, creative and seasonal, with a beautiful multicourse tasting menu. Our spring meal included ramps, baby turnips, asparagus and rhubarb. Excellent cocktails and an excellent wine list with an option for a pairing menu.

    The restaurant and dining experience was exceptional. I felt the courses were also very well done and presented. The main was a bit short as compared with the rest of the meal but still very good. Wine parings were very well done.

    The food and service was amazing. The wine pairings were also good although would have liked a bit more of a pour( they were about 2oz). Also- would of liked to have had a sparkling wine when we arrived. Great place for a special occasion.

    Overall, fantastic experience. Service exceptional, ambitious tasting menu, a few misses but overall good. Asparagus course with crab, both main ingredients were lost and muddy. Odd addition of shaved carrots. Lamb course had an odd color from improper searing or roasting resulting in no Maillard and flabby texture. Modern blend of ethnic flavors crossing borders. Always a challenge to nail everything but, delicious flavors nonetheless. Wine pairing was on point! Beautiful space for nice relaxing meal in Chicago.
