    Every aspect of the evening was of the highest quality; food, ambiance, service, everything. The staff worked as a team with everyone well versed in the dishes unique preparations and made sure every guest was enjoying each course. Chef Caesar is so creative with the freshest ingredients of the day. Every bite was delicious combining wonderful flavors that you might not expect in perfect balance. A must for a special evening of the finest dining.

    What a beautiful evening to celebrate my wife Brenda's birthday. North Pond is a favorite restaurant, and we always think of it for special occasions. Over the years, we've seen this restaurant grow and evolve, and we've been fortunate to enjoy the food of chefs like Mary Ellen Diaz, Bruce Sherman, Danny Grant, and now, the brilliant César Murillo. We have never been disappointed. Just inside the front door, we noted the happy little bees in a display hive-tray at the end of the bar. We were immediately welcomed by John at the front of the dining room and ushered directly to a lovely, two-top table near the center of the room. Brenda had a view of the kitchen -- buzzing like those bees at the bar -- and various staff attentively got our meal started. What a stunning five-course tasting menu. As beautiful to look at as it was to eat. The hallmark of North Pond is farm-to-table (in part, their rooftop-garden-to-table), and every dish reflected that sensibility. We especially loved the chef's little surprises in addition to the menu. Starting with a little amuse-bouche take on Green Eggs and Ham. Fun and tasty. I was blown away by my main course, prosciutto-wrapped halibut. Glorious. Our server was attentive and friendly, as was all the staff, and the timing between courses was perfect. I'll finish my overlong review by singing the praises of Chef César Murillo and John Arendt. From front of house to kitchen to the dining room, there is a vibe here that is pleasant and welcoming. César came by our table and we chatted about Oaxaca. John even came outside in the heat to take a photo of us by North Pond as we were struggling with a selfie. They truly care that people have a good experience. Thank you, North Pond. We hope to return soon. ~Steve & Brenda

    Our favorite restaurant for fantastic combinations of flavors. Each plate is a unique. It is like attending a two hour performance but one of taste.

    Cozy and friendly atmosphere, perfect for a tasting adventure! Special touches throughout the evening that made my husband and i feel cared for and special on our special occasion made it very memorable. The first 3 chef chosen starting plates were deliciously crafted with thought and flare. My halibut fell a little short, but my husband still wont shut up about the lamb he got. Appreciate everyone who keeps this hidden gem living and breathing and i hope it continues to be a memorable place to visit for years to come.

    Had a very enjoyable tasting menu meal with a wine pairing our first time visiting this restaurant. It was not too loud, and the food and drink came out at a good pace. Multiple couples nearby stated that they had been to the restaurant many times over the years because it was consistently good. Would recommend.

    Enjoyed the dinner with the included wine pairing. Food preparation, presentation, and taste were all magnificent. So many of the ingredients and combinations thereof were imaginative and incredible. Service was attentive without being cloying. The wait staff worked cohesively as a team- well-informed. Each member of the service team could explain each dish and wine. The pairing of the wine with each course was spot-on, and included a number of wines from regions that I have limited familiarity. A memorable experience.

    Incredible meal with a beautiful outdoor table. Beware…price fixe menu. Very expensive; dinner for 2 without wine paring and just one cocktail each was $400 with tax & tip.

    First visit for Brunch on Father's Day. The food was exceptional. The Sun choke fondue and potato chips was great. We had all three of the appetizers and were more than satisfied. For the second course we had the poached halibut and the the strip loin. My son felt that the steak rival was a good as any in the city. My wife and I enjoyed the poached halibut, especially the mole. We all had the choux which was excellent because it was not too sweet. I believe that the price of $59 for a three course meal was a great value for the amount and quality of the food.
