North Italia – Kierland Commons Ratings and Reviews
Enjoyed my experience. Entrées came out right after appetizers when we were barely half done (We weren't moving slow....Entrees came out under 10 minutes after we ordered), but I understand those things happen. Food was all good, atmosphere was good and both server and manager were attentive.
The reception staff did not do a great job. My colleague arrived at about the same time and gave them our respective names and they still did not put us together. We were fortunate to find each other and this delayed our meeting by at least 15-20 minutes. That said, the service was good. The food was okay, but not great. Still one of my favorite places for setting outside and the pasta and pizza have always been excellent.
Food was good , below average service, sloppy table maintenance, no silverware change out always playing silver on dirty table. Don’t touch my fork and hand it to me. Servers not washing hands
No bussing and loud as heck I like loud this was like screaming in the club
We had a nice evening however we were seated in the bar which is not what I was looking for for special occasion. We were walked down the hall with restrooms and it was a bit embarrassing with out of town guests. We did not make a reservation to sit in the loud bar, we were expecting the dining obviously. If overbooked, we should have been asked if that was satisfactory and the answer would have been no. There was a large party next to us with unruly kids in close quarters who we had to tell to move twice. Not the restaurants fault, but rude little kids should be left at home with their parents until both learn some manners and protocol in public.
Excellent dinner at North Italia – Kierland Commons! A family member was visiting from Taiwan and this was the perfect restaurant for us. Happy Hour menu offered amazing deals, service was prompt and efficient, and the food was fresh and delicious. We ordered 4 appetizers, 1 bottle of wine and 6 entrees .... for $160! This was some of the best Italian style food we've every eaten and can't wait to return for another amazing meal.
Made a reservation and got kicked to the North Bar patio, super disappointed about that. Took awhile to get service but after that all was fine but not exceptional. Will probably not celebrate special occasions here anymore.
The food was delicious. I would give all fives, but unfortunately my husband found a hair in his dinner. Yuk! But, our server was generous in amending our check, which we did not ask for or expect, so thank you for that. I love the location in The Quarter as well. It’s noisy, but not ridiculous.
The noise level in the restaurant made normal conversation impossible. Despite saying in the online reservation process that the occasion was our wedding anniversary, nothing was done at all to recognize it. My wife's pizza was good, but the chicken in my chicken parmigiana caused us both to have stomach issues. The server was very good - the best part of our experience.
I was very disappointed in the chicken salad. The lettuce was drenched in dressing and the lettuce was not fresh. Usually, that salad is very good, but this was almost not edible. I did not say anything to the server but after years of visiting this restaurant, I am not going back. Quality control not evident.
Waitress was great and attentive.
Buss boy was amazing as we were sitting on the outside patio and he noticed that someone was standing close by and smoking. He went over on his own accord and asked them to please step away from the close proximity of the patio. We had not even asked him to do so, but we’re so pleased that he did that as we were annoyed that someone was smoking right there. Bravo to the bus man 👏🏻👏🏻👏🏻 much appreciated.
Did not have the bottle of wine we ordered. Said they did not have the gin or vodka we ordered. Then informed us they were mostly beer and wine. Limited bar. C So loud we could not hear the waitress at first. Food was average at best. Cannot believe this is a Fox operation.
