favorite vacation spot
The fresh pasta was definitely wonderful - the bolognese & short rib were mouthwateringly good. Just a small issue with our server...the person that orders the wine is the person who should taste the wine. Please educate your servers about this.
Way too noisy. Will not go back.
Sat outside. Weather was perfect. People watching was great. It was Prom night. Food was great.
We arrived a little early and went to the outside bar to have a drink and were able to eat outside. Very accommodating on a beautiful night. Service was just a little slow, they took our drink and appetizers orders and then forgot to get our dinner order. Overall experience was great
Service was lackluster, but we got a table immediately which was nice. Food was good. Very, very loud. We would go back but try to eat outside.
Great food and outstanding service. The only downside is the noise makes it difficult to carry on a conversation at times.

Excellent food, service and ambiance
My husband and I were on an extended business trip and the restaurant North Italia was recommended by someone we met at our hotel. It ended up being a further drive than we thought but was worth it. The food and service was excellent. My only complaint was that it was a little noisy. It's a nice area and if you have time you may want to get there early and walk around Kierland Commons.
Our server was outstanding!!! The only negative was it was a little hot inside.
North on Sunday can’t be beat. $20 bottle and board, $5 wine all day? Why would I go anywhere else. Great meal. Great service and setting. So much better than surrounding restaurants and definitely worth the wait.

Jody was fantastic. The Bolognese sauce was a bit lackluster but the noodles were amazing! The tiramisu was a bit like dip n dots, not my favorite as I am a connoisseur and have eaten a lot of over the years. Tables are a bit close but that’s not uncommon in Scottsdale.

North is always one of our favorites when we are visiting Kierland. Great Happy Hour menu every day! Zucca chips are a must!
Was my first visit there- had heard some great things! Fabulous happy hour- funny bartender and great place to hang out till was seated for dinner. The food was great! Happy time had by all- Thanks!
Food fabulous was fabulous. Requested outside seating acoustics in restaurant terrible, always too loud. Seating outside lovely, but service was really slow.

If you come to Scottsdale North is the place to go. Everything on the menu is great, salad, pizza, mussels. The pasta is the best, I’ve had them all! They are a must
Perfect day for dining out for lunch at North. Our outdoor seating enabled us to enjoy the Arizona weather and also people watch. We have dined here often and also in North Denver. It is often difficult to choose which dish as we have never been disappointed! We started with a shared appetizer of calamari w grilled lemon and greens. Tortellini and strozzapreti were our dishes and we would order them again,

Overall quality of food was poor; my husband and I both ordered recommended pasta dishes and they were bland and tasteless.

Good place to eat for any occasion
Very disappointing return visit. Each of the dishes ordered was of marginal quality (pasta, pizza, salad). We were very surprised. Perhaps North’s success over the years is being taken for granted. I wouldn’t recommend it except for the bar patio and appetizers.
