Food was excellent, and service was fast, attentive. Super loud inside, so we sat on patio, which was much better.

This was my son’s choice for his birthday dinner - otherwise we would not have gone there. The food is Ok but the noise level is so bad that even when you shout across the small tables you can’t hear what the other person is saying. If you want to be able to interact with your dining partners - go to someplace quieter.

Never disappointed at North! We are snowbirds and dine at North 2-3 times/week. Can always depend on good food, great service, and a vibrant atmosphere!

Our second time there in 5 days! Can’t beat Sunday happy hour but we are just as happy to go there for lunch and dinner. We don’t go to Phoenix without coming here! LOVE IT!!!

The tables are packed in tightly coupled with all hard surfaces makes for a very noisy venue. The tables for two are on the small side as well so the ambiance is not the most pleasant. We had a grilled artichoke which was a rather thin one without much succulence. My chicken parmigiana was thin and a bit dry. So.....the experience did not meet my expectations.

We ended up leaving because we wanted something that wasn't on the menu! we decided we'd wait and come back this weekend for the dish we wanted. The waitress was really nice to us regardless of our choice to leave! We were so excited to come for valentines day but will definitely be back! The girls that greeted us were very sweet and the ambiance was lovely. It looked like everyone was enjoying themselves!

There was a special menu for Valentines Day... it was not great. The place was packed, and super noisy. This is the second time we have eaten here, doubt there will be a third. They tried to make the food special but it really missed the mark. Over priced for the quality.

This was the second time we’ve enjoyed the special Valentine’s menu. Excellent meal and very good service. We were seated in an alternative dining room, and it was much quieter than the main dining room, a plus.

Service got off to a slow start. Had to go to host desk and tell them we must be invisible. Things turned around from there. Who we assume to be a manager took our order and then after 15 mins our server (black guy)) all of a sudden turned up. Guess he doesn't pay attention to his stations. After that, he was on point, but too little too late. We gave him decent tip but on lunch hour he shouldn't have been MIA. Love the food but when you have to hunt down your server and parking is a premium, not sure less than great service makes this cut.

Way to loud inside to have any kind of a conversation. Outside seating would have probably been a better option.
I chose the gluten free pizza. It was TERRIBLE! I am confident any of their gluten free choices would have tasteful ingredients. But the crust was so very hard and at times too difficult to bite into. And this was with asking the waiter how good the crust was before I ordered it. I took pieces home to my son who consumes everything. He also hated it.
My wife ordered the Drivers Scallions. A very good choice. Just wished for the price it would have had more than three scallion.

Just average. I went with associates who seem to frequent this place. I was not particularly impressed. It was not bad, just not a standout in any way. I would not personally return unless at the request of clients.

Great food and service. Our only complaint is the noise level at this restaurant ruins what could be a great venue. Outdoor seating noise level is ok if you can get an outdoor seat, do it.

Honestly not great this time. We have gone to North on numerous occasions, this time it was a DUD. We we placed on the far east side of the Annex part of North. The kids playing ping pong at Shack Shack yelling and chasing the ball was annoying the entire dinner. Drinks came fast, food we had to wait forever....and I mean forever. The food was mediocre, not up to the usual quality. The appetizer Artichoke should not have even been served, we even mentioned that to the server. Just a meal that absolutely finalized putting a distance in returning again.

Great food...great service...overpriced wine, horrible bar service.

we arrived for reso early so we tried to see if we could get seated sooner. the host stand said they would call us if they could seat us earlier. so we tried to get a drink at the bar. it was crowded w seated patrons, but furthermore neither of the two bartenders acknowledged us to get a drink order or anything. so we decided to just walk around the commons and when we came back the host stand was much busier but they said they were still trying to find a table...at this point we had bout 20-25 min until our reso. so we tried to get a drink again at the bar...and again..even a manager was back there discussing a cc charge a guest and i stood for about 5 min wo being greeted or acknowledged. so finally gave up on a pre-dinner drink.

after that everything was amazing...server was sooo great. funny, personable. the food was insane good. we ordered the bruschetta...love the truffle oil. we shared a bowl of the butternut soup. then shared two entrees (bolognese and scallops) and a dessert--the tiramisu. My date liked the scallops more than i, but they were still prepared well. the server had both entrees split which was very nice and helpful.

i think all the wine bottles are overpriced, but the cab we had was delicious nonetheless. we spent about 90 min for dinner and never felt rushed.

one of my favorite places, and id say 5stars for everything if it wasnt for the bar experience.

I had called and asked to be seated outside as my husband has trouble hearing inside (it’s quite loud inside). At the last minute, we had another person join us, and again, I called. We were seated on a much quieter side of restaurant, staff was so accommodating, too. A good time was had by all. I do wish the menu changed a bit every once in awhile, tho. I always enjoy what I order, but it would be fun to be surprised now and then.

Since I have dined at the Tucson North Italia location it was the basis for my choosing to try the Scottsdale location.

It was inadequate in all aspects. A restaurant clearly designed to lean toward maximizing profit: small tables, pushed too close together, a level of noise reaching painful.

Want to try a North Italia: go to Tucson - it's terrific.
