Food was good, customer service was great. Happy Hour pricing was nice as well. We went here for my wife's birthday. The only thing was that the air conditioning was broken and it was very hot on our side.
The late night Happy Hour is a steal! The Chef's Board is on point. The Last Great Wine Theif should be everybody's Summer cocktail. Staff was friendly, atttentive, and gave me some great ideas of other local spots to visit. Overall quite impressed and please to have stumbled across North Italia.
Friendly service, fast, good food, reasonable prices. Too loud.
Hostess forgot about us and sat us 20 minutes late! We got sat after we complained because a reservation of 12 people got sat ASAP and their reservation was 30 minutes after ours! When we approached the hostess she said oh yeah, we have your table ready and sat us next to the large group. What makes this frustrating is we had our 3 yr old toddler with us, who was hungry. It took so long for our food she fell asleep at the table on me.
We have eaten at North 4 or 5 times per year for about 10 years. Food quality and service seems to have slipped a bit over the years. Still a nice option at Kierland but not what it once was. "House Specialty" pasta dish (Bolognese) was a bit bland. Roasted Salmon was pretty good.
I would recommend North to anyone who wants a delicious Italian meal. It was very noisy and difficult to talk to the people right across from you but other than that the food was fantastic and it’s at a great location.
Calamari was not freshly cooked: greasy and not hot
Artichokes flavorful but overdone.
Entrees very good.
Burrata salad needs to have burrata in the salad. Not sure how it can be served with tomatoes and bread only. The error was corrected but it should not even happened. Service was extremely slow when few people were there. Pizza and pasta are very good at this restaurant but main dishes have a lot to be desired. Fish was good but the grilled broccoli was so burnt that it was not possible to eat. The Greene House is much better.
Everything we had was amazing. The Bianca pizza was to die for. The calamari, salmon and sea bass were delicious and that’s coming from someone who doesn’t usually like fish. Would definitely go again.
Excellent as always.
The food and atmosphere was great ... we sat outside and the table felt like it had a film on it. The waitress washed it and it was the same. Maybe it was just the texture of the table
They’re good is great. They have a great wine selection. I have able to substitute in veggie noodles instead of pasta and it was just as good.
I love this place are used to come here more often ....Highly recommend
Even though it is not advertised as a pizza place only , it has one of the best pizza in Scottsdale.
All the food is always good and the area (/Kierland) is always fun.
We had a reservation and the hostess suggested a more quiet area!
We had the avocado and arugula salad with grilled chicken and we added romaine and half arugula. Then had a Aperol Spritz. Fabulous on a hot summer afternoon!
The Hazelnut Torts was one of THE best desserts ever!!!
Service was great. We went on the fourth of July and what a nice surprise. Very quiet, and it was very easy to find a parking spot. Hope to go back soon. The best Ceasar salad I have had in a long time!!
It is loud in the Restaurant! The service is excellent! The food is Consistently fabulous too!
Our favorite “go to place”!!
The food is great but if you want to have a discussion with those at your table, this is not the place. Our server was quick-witted and we had a great time thanks to him. Seriously, this restaurant is just way too loud.
Fun 4th celebration. We sat in the Bar North area as it seems a bit quieter.
Service was awesome and so was the food!!! Baby got a little fussy so we took food to go, and it was delicious.
Note: The truffled garlic bread goes next level with poached eggs!!!
Good food but was a bit salty.
The food was not only tasty and delicious but piping hot which I loved. Try the Sangria...perfect summer drink! We are planning to go back this week!
Every time I am always so happy from eating at North. Starting with the zucca chips to the bologanse was perfect.
Food was delicious. Service was a little slow.
Very good food, good service, overall very good
Waiter was responsive and helpful
Too noisy. Not energetic but loud.
I was seated in the back Dining room. I hated it ! Claustrophobic. Loud and really bright. The food was okay.
A bit noisy!
North is the perfect romantic date night spot in the valley. Incredible food and the friendliest staff. Erin the hostess shined as she welcomed us and got us a table right away. Italian cuisine with a local restaurant feel.
Had a lovely dinner with my son. You haven’t lived until you’ve tried the truffle garlic bread. We were seated in the Bar North room which would be a perfect place for a private party. The waitstaff worked together as an exceptional team.
i loved it! amazing first visit. our server was lovely and he even helped me with my vegetarian needs and subbed chicken for mushrooms. he was wonderful! noise level was pretty loud but there was a group of middle-aged women drinking wine and laughing really loud lol we could still sort of hear each other though
Great place, HOWEVER, it is crazy loud inside! Had to literally raise our voices just to have a normal conversation. Only drawback to this place.
Our server was excellent- attentive and always with a smile. Good menu choices and the food was fresh and delicious. We ate lunch in the adjoining dining space- a bright and cheerful space with lots of natural light and a little quieter than the main dining area. Great experience. I’ll go back again soon!
Food was outstanding. We found a shard of plastic in the garlic bread but mistakes happen. We’ll definitely go back.
Rachel was our waitress and was so fun and truly a delight!! She deserves a raise!!!
We likely won't be back.... a mediocre place overall. The restaurant is good for a quick bite if you are shopping and craving Italian, but not somewhere to come to Kierland for. I like a cozy, comfortable feel to a restaurant where I can relax and unwind and this was more open concept, kind of cold-feeling in starkness-- I am not a fan of metal seats or staring at the chefs as I eat since the kitchen is right there facing the restaurant. Very cafeteria-like and close together seats. People on either side of us could listen to our entire conversation. The tables are wood & quite textured, so ours felt a bit sticky as well. A few pieces of floating unknowns in my wine. Will, our server, was very kind-- I give him kudos. The menu is nice and had some good options-- but nothing we had was out of this world. I enjoyed the prosciutto bruschetta. Overall it's a "meh".
A group of us met for a friend’s birthday lunch. The service and food was great.
