North Italia – Denver Ratings and Reviews
Always really love North. It's consistent and delicious every time. I had the chicken parmesan, which sounds basic...but this chef pampers the chicken and then the pasta with it is a lovely creamy alfredo like sauce. Exquisite. My friend had the mushroom tortellini. Too shroomy and rich for me, but he loved it. Jeremy is the awesome waiter you want to ask for. Great service.
Love, love , love this restaurant. The food is wonderful, I frequently order the mussels, simple salad or grilled artichoke. My husband always gets spaghetti. It has a romantic, sophisticated atmosphere. The service can be a little slow because it's usually busy, but not intolerably slow. Probably my favorite restaurant in Denver.
A bit noisy for business dinner but it was good.
The apps were delicious
My short rib and horseradish pasta was surprisingly bland:-( i thought it would be flavorful. The truffle Bread was great.
They were busy and the service was ok but the runner guy brought a different wine than i ordered and knew it but the waiter never came back to fix it:-(
Didn't live up to usual expectations. I often make it a point to dine at North when I visit Denver--and have also attended their community dinner events. On this visit, my dining partner and I shared the Burrata with winter squash (starter), Burrata Tortelloni, and the Diver Scallops. The burrata dishes were disappointing--a bit sloppy and uninteresting--as was the roasted squash. The scallop dish was perhaps the best--and the risotto was tasty. We had the hazelnut torta for dessert---very good. Don't get me wrong, the food was good, but in the past, every morsel was exceptional. The restaurant was very busy (and very noisy) on this particular Sunday evening. Perhaps this impacted the quality of food and experience---although one would hope not! For the price, this was a disappointment.
Overall experience was nice as usual
HOWEVER, I took a major spill as I slipped on something that wa on the floor when I was being taken to our reserved table....!
NO ONE ever came to ask how I was, if I was ok...nothing! How disappointing as we have been coming there for quite a few years
Not sure when we will be back
Our waitress Allie was amazing! We were a group of ladies getting together for the first time in months, she was very patient with us. Made good recommendations on both food and drink. The food is fabulous, we started off with Calamari, I had the scallops, they ran out of risotto, so she recommended roasted vegetables. The scallops were cooked perfectly, the vegetables had a hint of lemon. We will definitely be back.
My experience at North Italia was fantastic. My friends and I met after work for a long overdue get-together. My friends and I really love meeting in Cherry Creek North and although there are a lot of new dining options in the area, North is a great gem! We ordered a couple of the board and bottle happy hour specials and the yucca chips. The food and ambiance were outstanding and the staff was very attentive throughout.
The food was great! Everything is freshly made and prepared in-house. That being said, there was a couple that was being quite inappropriate and management did nothing to remove them. It was extremely distracting and it made everyone sitting around them extremely uncomfortable. Also, the service was incredibly slow. That being said, I have a feeling it was not a good representation of how the restaurant usually operates and I will still be willing to go back and give it another shot.
Amazing as always!! Very consistent. Staff is always accommodating and super friendly. Great environment, food is hands down one of the best. I can always be confident that a dinner at North is going to be an evening that my guests have a blast and walk away talking about what an amazing time they had.
