North Italia – BLVD
The food took forever and it was cold when it came out. Had a reservation and still had to wait 20 minutes. Food was below average.
They have certainly hit the motherload with this restaurant.
Packed consistently , long waiting lines, booking a must .
Place is noisy but the food is worth any wait, at all levels this must be rated some of the best and reasonably priced Italian food in Houston..
Brilliant concept attracts old and young alike..
Congrats to owners
I hate waiting, don’t mind the noise, but can’t resist the place
Had reservations for 5:45pm and did not finish until 7:03p. Our waitress could not understand a bombay gin on the rocks with a twist of lemon, repeated 3 times and got a lime and it took 25 minutes to get. Waited too long for cold zucca chips followed by a long wait for the pizza. The pizza delivery person knew it was to long and did not charge for it. The noise and the music make it hard to relax. This North is not operated like the mothership in Arizona!’
The food was wonderful, the service very good and the atmosphere definitely "hopping". The only drawback is the noise level.
I loved it! Service was great, food was delicious!
First time visiting the Houston location. Food was decent, but better in Los Angeles when we visited this past summer. Service was very good and the ambience was overall very good.
Valentine’s $65 per person for 3 courses. Wasn’t really anything special and our waiter was an airhead, literally just kept sending wrong things to the wrong places and like not really listening to what we wanted, just kind of doing his own thing. Lucky I love the food here so much, because if I’m going to go spend 145$+ for two people then the service, food and entire experience should all be seamless. We went to a chili’s this week with more attentive and caring staff, but the food at North Italia is amazing and I will continue to go back.
Julietta drink, short rib dish and salted caramel pudding...Happy Valentine's Day 💛💛💛
We had reservations at 5:30 but with Houston traffic we were almost 30 minutes late, however they were very accommodating and seated us right away. Great service and ambiance, would highly recommend.
Service was excellent, food and drinks were perfect. When phoning in a reservation, no one answered, so I felt it necessary to come in person to ensure our large party would be able to get a table outside.
The server we had made our experience terrible. He was not kind. Only came to our table once after we received food and drinks. Didn’t bother to ask anything. I asked for the happy hour menu and he said there was no happy hour because of valentines. I only went there for happy hour and expressed that it was my first time visiting and his response was. Well there is no happy hour. I I was disappointed with his treatment towards me while I waited for my guest. We just wanted a drink and small plate. Simple, the server made the experience terrible.
The place is cery pretty unfortunately, we will not come back.
Always love north italia, always a favorite!
Arrived gave my name the hostess said that I didn’t have a reservation. And went to the next person. I asked another hostess and she looked and saw my name smh
Came in for lunch.. it was delicious. Started with the grilled cauliflower, so flavorful. Had the salmon with zucchini noodles. It was perfect.
Too expensive poor serving sizes.
First they sat us at a table and about 10 minutes they sat a couple at a table beside us. Waiter came and took their order first. After telling the waiter we were there first, he was apologetic n did everything possible to put us as priority but our order got lost twice n sent to wrong table n then finally given to us cold. We were so hungry so we kept it n ate it. Miguel, our waiter told the manager n he comp our main dish. It was our Valentines Day dinner n it was ruined. We will not be back.
Food really good, but not great . Maggianos across the street has better food. Ambiance was however outstanding, very young vibe and lots going on.
Don't get me wrong, the food was good. My wife's Short Rib Radiatori was super tasty and my Margherita Pizza very good (though I'd argue that Mod Pizza's are better). But was it worth the cost, the long drive from The Woodlands, and noisy atmosphere? No. Will we go back? Not any time soon.
Get service! Got there with four minutes to spare on happy hour and server got everything in under the gun! Great value HH with great options to select from! Will definitely be back.
Always excellent. The pizza of the day, butternut squash and shaved brussel sprouts was to die for. Service was excellent. Took 3 friends who were in town and never been to North and they were blown away.
Great food, service, but was loud. But hey, who likes a dead silent restaurant! My pizza was amazing and my friend really enjoyed her chicken Parmesan. Water glass could have been filled up more frequently.
I love going to North Italia. Its a fun, casual place.
Good food, it’s creative and fresh. We enjoyed it. Even in a Sunday evening it was busy and we learned they are set up for tables of 2 and 4 so a party of 5 or 6 is a challenge. We had a party of 5 and we were seated together after a short wait so it all turned out well. Sunday was half-price wine night so we took advantage and it was great.
Food and service excellent as always. Had to wait 30 minutes passed reservation time for table. No big deal though, enjoyed wine while we waited.
Food is fantastic , a little crowded but overall pretty good ambiance. Service is very good.
We arrived 10 minutes prior to our reservation and was seated at our reservation time. The restaurant was packed and quite loud. We were greeted immediately and drinks were brought promptly. We ordered the calamari and the white truffle garlic bread...that bread was quite possibly the best appetizer I have ever eaten and it arrived quickly. I ordered the pizza and my husband had the bolognese pasta dish. My pizza was absolutely delicious and my husband loved his dish as well. It was pretty cool that the kitchen was glassed in because you could see the pasta being made fresh as well as other items being made my hand. My only complaint was that I would not hear what my husband was saying and I felt I had to talk really loudly to communicate but overall I highly recommend this restaurant. We didn't come to talk...we came for awesome food and we absolutely got it!!
great meal and service. Blackened scallops wonderful, also the pizza and calamari were delicious
Really amazing place, food and everything
Had a great time the service was outstanding!! Our food didn’t take long even though it was packed and server was attentive even to special requests we made.
Poor selection of Italian dishes.
Ridiculous wine menu as far as prices go! And I am a knowledgeable, experienced wine drinker with a fairly large wine collection.
More of a Sports bar feel than a fine dining Italian meal restuarant.
Very nice meal, and good service. Tables are very close and it gets very loud.
North Italia has a great vibe. While it may seem a bit loud it is really not. There is a great buzz in the restaurant. The foot is wonderful and the service is outstanding. I love taking clients to North Italia.
Great restaurant. The ambiance is nice. A good place to go for business or if you want to be seen. Food is good and not overpriced. Love the pizza (the pig)!!!
Excellent Italian restaurant that uses fresh noodles made in-house. The vibe was much livelier than I anticipated, even on a Wednesday.
Absolutely amazing Food and cocktails!!
All was super as always. The staff continues to impress me every visit!
Excellent atmosphere, food, and service. We will be back!
