North Italia – Arcadia Ratings and Reviews
We love North Italia! The scallops are amazing and don't pass up the Bombolinis for desert! I also had "The Quiet Italian Gentleman" as a cocktail before dinner. A very good Bourbon based drink. FRC always puts together amazing dishes. I also have to give a shout out to "The Rocket" which operates out of here. We have had it to our house twice and the pizzas and salads are incredible.
Came to North Italia Arcadia to celebrate Mother's day a week late. We chose a table in the corner of the patio. Although it was a warm afternoon, the sprinklers cooled the air around us and the shade provided by the huge arbor kept the sun from making it uncomfortable. We could converse and enjoy our meal without being bothered by extensive noise. The wait staff is always pleasant and appropriately attentive. Food and wine--delicious! This is probably our favorite restaurant and we barely need an excuse to come here! Never disappoints.
My family had never been to North since they live out of the country. They loved the fun cozy and friendly atmosphere, the free valet parking and the good food. I've been to North and other Fox restaurants many times and love the experience. Probably will celebrate my birthday there.
Thanks for making my family so happy.
Came in for my wife's birthday. We both loved the food and our server (can't remember his name unfortunately) was so knowledgeable. He thoroughly explained the cocktails to my wife and recommended the perfect wine for me. He also helped us pick the perfect entrees to pair with our drinks. My only complaint is it is too far from Queen Creek lol!
We went to North Arcadia to have lunch and to celebrate Mother's Day. It was pretty packed, but that was expected as it was a holiday. We made a reservation and were seated within five minutes of arrival. We appreciated the kids menu for our four-year old son and where we were seated in the corner was perfect for our little family of three. The food was delicious and everyone was very friendly.
Overall OK, not at all what I expected nor what I have experienced from this restaurant in the past. I have dined at this location during business hours, lunch time, and the experience has always been favorable. I don't think they were prepared for the groups associated with this special day, Mothers Day.
The service was very very good. The food was underwhelming. First they have no dark rum selection. They serve Pepsi and no Coke choice, two strikes. The appetizer , The Sue Keeney chips were less than average. The salad with vinaigrette was poor and even the substitute dressing was very very bad. The pizza was burnt on the bottom and we could only eat parts of it. I was tired of complaining. I've eaten at North in Tucson and it was exceptional. I would never go back to this restaurant one of the worst meals I've ever had and it was my wife's birthday
Service was not up to usual,, did not receive our appetizers,, was not given water , had to ask for drinks, then had to ask for bread,, and all 4 of us had pasta,, very very small pasta dishes, for the priceI felt should be more,, i go to the restaurant a lot but usually for lunch,, need to up the game for dinner,, we where there early enough,, so it wasn't real busy yet,,
Food was great and the service was great too. They accommodated us with patio seating. Waiter was very attentive and we had a great time. Waiter accommodated us by splitting our plates in the kitchen and bringing our meals out so we could share them as we planned to.
We ate from the lunch menu on Easter and the food was fantastic. The service was even better. I could live off of the zucca chips and the bacon and egg pizza was really good. Our table also had a breakfast sandwich, French toast and bruschetta. Everyone enjoyed the experience and I can't wait to return!
Went with a party of 6 people. Food was mixed, I would say, with some people enjoying what thye had (salads with chicken or salmon) and others not (margherita pizza was pretty bad). Serivce was ok; not bad, but not great (dinner plates come out 2 at a time so some pieple have food, while others still waiting; not very attentive to re-filling water or ice tea glasses). Definitely not the place to go if you are looking to have a quiet conversation or a discussion among a group (we were six people and there was no way you could hear what was said around th etable except for th epoeple right next to you unless you were talking very loudly).
The restaurant was loud and hard to hear our conversation. The pizza was horrible - It was dry, hard and the worst pizza I've ever had. My other guests had pasta which was just ok.
I've been here several times now and have never liked the place but thought we'd give it one last chance. Never again...it's off our list forever.
