I don’t what more I can say ! This is our regular haunt , and no matter where ever else we go we always wish we had chosen Normans . We now try and visit our favourite restaurant as many times as we can ! We never get bored with the menu , it’s superb . The wine list is great and our favourite champagne is always on ice and served at exactly the right temperature. I can’t mention any individual members of staff as all of them are true team members and always perform to the best of their abilities.
Norman’s is a 5 star restaurant.So chic,excellent food and service.Would highly recommend.One of my favorite restaurant in Orlando.Thanks to all Norman’s staff ....
Food was exceptional as always. Amazing flavors, cooked perfectly. Maitre D’ was polite and professional. Great choices, right portions, simply remarkable.
Great service and delish food - great recommendations from our server!
Wonderful experience in dining and service. Did not care for the fact that Cilantro was an added spice in almost every dish and it’s a spice I can’t stand. Courses were modest in quantity except the entree. Pork dish was nothing special it would have been better if the meat was cut into slices and served that way rather than the big hunk of meat that showed up on the plate. The sauces could have been separated in separate wear for dipping
Scallops were out of sight. Delicious
Service was heroic.
Outstanding wine list, food was manhattan exceptional, presentation and service spot on. I entertain for living and this place even impressed me. Will definitely return next time I’m thru Orlando.
My Wife Birthday!! Awesome highly recommended
It was great
Amazing food and amazing service. The only thing was that there was a hug group and place was a bit noisy. But the rest was so nice that it won’t keep me from going again. It’s not everyday that they would have such large groups. Big well done to chef and staff!
As always superb ! Without a doubt the best restaurant in town .
A great fine dining place for extra special occasions!
This was the most incredible dining experience of my life!!! The food was the best I ever had and my server was UNREAL!!!!!
Every visit to Norman’s is 5 stars.. been coming here for 15 years and it never disappoints.. this trip we took our 10 and 11 year old daughters.. not their first time, but the first in a while and one refuses to be on the kids menu.. we all had the best dinners ever.. my wife and I love the fried green tomatoes as an appetizer and order our own each time we come. We were going to share some with our oldest daughter and they brought her her own which was incredibly thoughtful and just like this restaurant to think about what we want without us ever asking.. leave to the best member of their wait staff, Corey who we were lucky enough to have as our server tonight.. entrees ranged from the Tuna app to the steak, chicken, and my favorite grouper dish.. all were 100% perfection and I sware the have the freshest fish in Orlando.. Hugged their GM Yusif on the way out who checked in on us often..
There just isn’t anything close in the city not anywhere near close to this restaurant..
Absolutely fantastic meal on par with some of the nation's best. (Not exaggerating!) I can see why the restaurant was a James Beard finalist.
We enjoyed the winter tasting menu which was fabulous and easily worth the price. I added a masterful wine pairing and was in heaven.
Top notch service and ambiance. Looking forward to the next excuse to return.
Our splurge, elegant restaurant during our annual week visit to Orlando. Amuse bouche was delicious. “Specialty drinks” - our choice of two was spot on. My wife had the apple salad and I had the scallops for first course - perfectly prepared and presented. My wife enjoyed the red snapper and my pork chop was literally the best I have ever had. Finished up with a pyramid dessert with chocolate panna cotta at the center. My wife was presented with a red rose as we left.
Valet parking in the rain was appreciated.
What can I say,
This is far the best dining experience.
Excellent food and excellent service
Shared 3 nice and well portioned starters, nice main course, like we remembered it from 1.5 years back
New Years Eve meal was very good. Selections were limited which is fairly standard. Each course was very good. The wine pairings were just OK. The gentlemen waiters and wine server were all excellent, attentive and seemed happy to be working there at the time. We had an 8:30 reservation, arrived early and sat us on time.
While we had an excellent earlier experience some time back, this time on December 31st we had expected (for USD 175 per person) a bit more than an average 4 course menu.
People who took the wine pairing, struggled to find time to even finish their glasses as their was little time between the courses, maybe consciously as a second row of guests seemed to be waiting.
The dishes while good in proportion, were fine in terms of taste and texture but not as special as you would expect for this price. Dessert could also be much more refined.
Went for New Years....did the pairings menu...First two courses were outstanding...great wine parings!
For the main course...I received a Top Sirloin.....it was very "uninspired" . No real flavor or anything special done to it..I'm guessing they prepared it in a sous vide, but they could have added some additional flavor - somthing to it. Was VERY bland really...again for a special menu item...at this caliber of a restaurant you expect more. My wife & daughter got a seafood Tagliatelle for her main...which was good...but the lobster was NOT. ...had very little flavor and a "mush" texture that really made it hard to eat. Fish included also was really nothing special...which was a dissapointment. Service was outstanding. The room is outstanding...but Norman needs to get some inspiration in the kitchen for his cooks. Was not what we expected food wise for sure...for this caliber of eatery.
Quite a disappointing evening for our booking at Norman's. We have dined here many times before and thus booked this for a New Years dinner with friends from Europe. The food and services were rushed and several plates could not be eaten by our guests as they were not as ordered (ie. blood rare steak served vs medium rare ordered). I appreciate they were busy (it was New Years's eve) but at the prices charged there was no real attempt to correct the mistake or to apologize (the restaurant insisted the steak was "safe" to eat....which seems to be quite different than ensuring food is served as was ordered by the customer.
Despite pre-booking with credit card (as was required) and no disllosure of needing the table back by a stated time, the servers were pressing for bringing the bill even before coffee's/teas were suggested or ordered.
We will not be back.
Fernando is hands down the best waiter we have ever had anywhere. Juan, the sommelier, always makes the best selections for our wine and it keeps us coming back. Always ask for these two when you are coming into eat at Norman’s.
The entire meal was outstanding! Andrew and his team were ever vigilant... and he was extremely knowledgeable about everything we discussed. Food was spectacular... every starter... every main... every dessert! Great job
Tried the special winter tasting menu with wine pairings. Not inexpensive but worth the price. Service was superb.
We were looking for a great seafood meal, and were NOT disappointed! Our waiter was exceptional, and made several recommendations, most of which we took, and were very pleased that we did!
My wife and I have eaten there a number of times, including some anniversaries and birthdays. It has always been superb in every way. Everything we have had is outstanding but snapper is several steps beyond outstanding. The service has been uniformly excellent. Though it is a bit pricey, it is far from the most expensive restaurant in Orlando. It's on my list of one of the best restaurant in the nation.
Wonderful food and service
Best food in my live. We were there to celebrate with friends and family increible night. Service No 1
Service was perfect. Ceviche was excellent. French toast foie gras thing was meh. The bread and olive oil which were made such a big deal of was mediocre. Scallops were good. Grouper was lukewarm dry and not good.
We always dine at Norman’s on Christmas Eve. It was a relaxing evening, service was wonderful and the food was delicious. We will return
Christmas eve family dinner
Service was impeccable. Staff is on point. Food was cold, bland, uninspiring. Not worth $600 for three people. Fish was barely thawed out, vegetables were cold, venison was dry. Could not chew the pheasant in the second course. Persimmon salads were ok. Lobster chupe was excellent. Brisket was tasty. Desserts were inedible. Why not just have regular menu instead of the pre-fixe one?
Went for our anniversary and they made it special. Excellent seafood appetizer and main courses.
This restaurant has been my favorite since it opened. Always feel special and so well taken care of. This year, my sons, both in the service, and my daughter in law and I were treated like royalty! Could not have asked for a better reunion in better atmosphere!
My wife and I made a reservation for our 9th marriage anniversary and this place was well worth the money. The atmosphere was great and the food was absolutely amazing. Fernando was the best host I've encountered during any outing. I would definitely do it again.
Simply the best meal we've had in Orlando, ever. The food is meticulous and subtle, service knowledgeable but friendly and discreet. Expensive, but if you are a foodie, this is as good as it gets around here.
My husband and I went to Norman’s to celebrate our anniversary. ThTs our go to spot mostly every year. We stay at the Ritz-Carlton for the weekend and have our celebratory dinner at Norman’s.
In the past years we each received a personalized Anniversary dinner menu, which is also a nice touch.
This year it was a fill in the blank menu.
Norman’s has always been a quiet, intimate high end restaurant with a semi formal dress code (not jeans nor T-shirt). This year was quite the opposite. SUPER LOUD, jammed packed with people and kids all around. Food was awesome, service delightful. Just missed that quiet intimate dinner we have always expected. We’ll try again next year and see what happens
Everything about dinner at Norman’s was superb. Our server, Fernando, was charming and efficient and not obtrusive. The filet mignon was cooked to perfection and melted in your mouth. Food and service impeccable. Can’t wait to return. A true dining experience.
Wonderful as always.
