The Sushi artists at NORI are both transfixed and upbeat in their purpose, while handing off creation after creation with the knowledge that the appreciation of each presentation is temporary. They must know the vast majority of their work will never receive accolades, show up on a magazine's cover, or be appreciation by a dedicated mass media audience. Still, their art creates an effect, and a physical connection between desire, hunger and appreciation in the minds of those who will consume it. These sushi chefs are it seems, dedicated artists who accept their best presentation, masterpiece and most delicious dish, to which they sign with a Signature Sauce.
Food is always very good. Thought the salmon eggs (Ikura) May have been frozen 😔. Service can be better. Bit of an attitude
I love Nori! Sushi is so good, BYOB, and half off on Mondays!
Very friendly staff. Great service and some of the best sushi we’ve ever had!
Decent maki, great noodles, and LOVE that it's BYOB with no cork fee. I'll definitely go again.
I had been craving sushi for a while and Nori did it for me. The tuna tar tar appetizer was SO good and fresh. The specialty rolls were amazing, served cold and we weren't rushed - which some times happens at BYOB places. It was a little bit on the expensive side, but it evens out since you don't need to buy your drinks there. I will definitely go back.
Great sushi at great prices- we go here often and love Nori!
This was my fourth visit and for the first time I was rather disappointed. Way too much rice in the maki, pieces cut way too large and then without disclosure, they added a 20% tip to the bill and there were only two of us dining. Maybe this gem is getting too popular so quality is losing importance.
Excellent Food! I would come here at least once a week for lunch or dinner :)
I went here on a Wednesday night with a reservation for 4 people. I do recommend making a reservation. It was quite crowded, I guess due to how small it is. We were seated immediately. The server came & asked us what we would like to drink & have for appitizers. It is BYOB & there is a 7 eleven a few doors down where we bought 2 bottles of wine. We did end up ordering the edamame which was not that great, I've had better. I started off with 2 rolls which were the Rainbow roll & Ebi tempura roll.. which were both great!! The only problem was the service was quite slow! It took like 35 minutes to get our orders & there wern't that many people that were in there before us. The Spicy Tuna was also good. I definitely would go back.
This was my first time dining at Nori Sushi. I am not a big Sushi lover ... however, It was a friends birthday and they LOVE sushi. I must say for me not to be a huge sushi lover, This place may have opened my palate to having more sushi ;-) The only thing that wasn't that great they don't have a liquor license so it is BYOB. So be sure to try this Sushi
Great Sushi, very reasonably priced.
I love Nori Sushi! We had a great server who was very helpful and gave us her ideas of which things on the menu were really good, and she was right! I like to be able to try a lot of things so having 8 pieces per roll seemed like a little too much but the prices were very reasonable for all that sushi! And you can't beat BYOB with no cork fee :) It was our first time at Nori Sushi and we will definitely be going back.
