The Grill is one of our favorite places to dine for lunch. It is also our "go to" place to take a friend for a "pay-back" lunch. We especially like the ambiance, the club-like decor, and the numerous choices on the menu. Most of all, the food is never disappointing but even surprisingly subtly unique in flavor, and the service is prompt and personally pleasing.
Great quick bite before a show
A good choice for lunch in downtown Seattle. The food and the service are always excellent.
Delicious food and an enjoyable overall experience.
Hi-hum. My reuben was flavorful but the bread soggy in the middle. And the fries were lukewarm and limp. Our server was very nice. M niece said the chicken tenders were good. I guess I expected better from some reviews I’d read.
Great service and food
I have had the same server several times while eating at the Grill and she is always in a hurry to get us to place an order and get out the door.
Always a fine experience. Good solid food, great service, fast yet not rushed.
Love this place. It’s elegant without being stuffy, food is great and next time I’m getting the oysters!
Awesome service. My son had halibut at a local restaurant that cost much more, and said the Nordstrom’s Grill offering was much better. I had one of the best steaks ever. Will visit again.
A great getaway located down the escalator. Service was fast and efficient. The crab bisque is a DEFINITE go to. The prime rib dip was awesome.
Great place with good food as nice alternative to the busy places for lunch in the downtown area.
Everything was perfect as usual! Hubby ordered the flatiron steak for the first time & it was soooo good! Cooked perfectly & served with lots of veggies,
Food was good but nothing special. Service was lacking as our server forgot our friend’s coffee, then comped it but my friend still ended up paying as the server just automatically split the bill in half versus having me pay for my daughter and I. It’s an easy place to go to as it’s near everything and isn’t usually busy. If wanting a decent meal without a wait in downtown Seattle this is your place.
The Arctic Char was tremendous with sautéed asparagus & tomatoes. The cilantro lime shrimp salad was delicious too.
Awesome place and food is fantastic and Phil is amazing !
They sat me in a great table for my business meeting and the server was efficient and very quick. She could have been more engaging but, I was there on business so it was nice to get to the point.
Always outstanding on every level.
Great menu. Food prepared well. Kind of loud and hard to talk. But enjoyed the food and will come back.
Very nice, very nice experience. The food was great, and the service exceptional. Will return again and again.
I used to eat lunch at the Grill three times a week when my office was a couple blocks away. It was always a good value and I liked to eat at 11:30 to get ahead of the crowd. Now that I'm retired and am not so frequent a diner, I've noticed that the portions are smaller, and the menu has changed and not necessarily for the better. But it's still good and more than anything else, when you are in Sylvia or Cindy's section, the service is off the hook. Those two ladies "rock it."
The food here is surprisingly excellent: carefully prepared and very fresh. Good bar too.
Excellent quality food for the price, especially in comparison to other downtown restaurants. Menu with a variety of tempting choices; service was professional, prompt and courteous. This was a terrific place to catch up with a friend.
SOOOOOOOOO GOOD!!! This is a amazing gem to find in the city!
Terrible service, tables of people who came in after us were served 15-25 minutes ahead of us.
Wonderful spinach salad topped with warm salmon. Reliably good food and prompt, efficient service - a great choice for a nice lunch downtown.
Classic and still great.
We went on a theatre night and practically had the place to ourselves! Happy hour was great, although they should have a sparkling brut on the happy hour menu to counter point the Prosecco, but that only personal opinion! The food was delicious and our server was lovely!
Nice atmosphere. Quiet. Good food.
We were at the Sheraton Grand for a workshop and the Nordstrom Grill worked out wonderfully.
Sidney took great care of us!
Service was prompt and efficient, easily able to dine in an hour. Food is dependably good.
Convenient downtown location. Service good, food ok. Ordered the was burger it was ok it came with fries and a dipping sauce that was awful. Won't be ordering that again.
Love the shrimp salad!
Food and service were good but the noise level made it difficult to hold a conversation.
Food was better than anticipated. Date night special was good value
Wait staff was thorough, but we felt rushed to finish as she seemed ready to get through with her shift soon after we showed up for our 6:45 reservation
Always my favorite when I am downtown. I always feel welcome and have a great meal with fantastic service. The only downside is I spend too much on my way out of the store!
I have always loved the food in The Griil, but was sorry to see some things have changed. I often have order the chicken paillard, and it was no longer on the menu. The waitress did say they still make it ‘just a little different’.
The dish consisted of two pieces of perfectly cooked grilled chicken (not flattened), with a strange pile of arugula salad (w/ a few cherry tomatoes and powdery parmesan coating). For $22 I would have rather have had my husband’s delicious french dip sandwich ($18). In general, the menu seemed shorter, and not as interesting.
We still had a very nice lunch, but the restaurant just seemed a little tired...
Excellent, salads are great as is the crab soup!
Delicious salmon sandwich with excellent service. Grill is busy at lunch time. Best to make a reservation. Perfect break from shopping for lunch.
