Nordstrom Grill - Bellevue Square Ratings and Reviews
My wife ordered the chicken burger without mushrooms. It came with mushrooms on it. She picked them off so it was fine. We each ordered a glass of Pinot Noir and they brought Pinot Gris. They fixed it. My halibut was over cooked. Nordstrom sells clothes not food so I understand this is not their core business. It's convenient and fine when you're there but don't expect too much and certainly don't expect it to be on par with the rest of Nordstrom.
I love the food and the service. Best French fries in town. My only complaint is they have the music too loud -- and with child-friendly and small space the noise level escalates. If they would just turn the music down I think the noise level would lower so you can have a conversation across the table.
This is a consistent "go to" for us in Bellevue. It stands alone as a destination even though it is inside the mall. The food and service are great. It is one of the better spots for lunch in Bellevue. Their soups and generous salads are great. I like to order their specials as well. I appreciate the kid friendly atmosphere and healthy children's menu. They are committed to providing quality food with an emphasis on organic ingredients. This is important to me.
This is one of my favorite place to dine with friend at Bellevue Square. I usually had good experience and enjoy the food . However my visit this time was just very disappointed .
We made a reservation through open table but when we got there on time . There was no seat for us .
I mentioned to the receptionist that we made a reservation . But she just told me sorry there are someone came before you so we gave your seat to them. Then she said OPEN TABLE doesn't know the way we operate here so pretty much what she told me is they don't take the reservation through open table !! If they y don't want to honor the reservation through open table then why they even bother to make the reservation available at this website !!!
Our waiter wasn't doing his job well either . Have to ask him so many times to refill our drinks . I ordered a crispy grilled chicken and that dish just awful barely has any taste .
I shop and dine at Nordstrom very often , this is the first time I have been treated like this way . Very disappointed , don't think I will go back for a long time.
Past experience has been good. If you stick to salads and sandwiches you can't go wrong. However, we have had bad luck with dinner items. Last occasion the linguini special had ingredients not listed on menu, i.e. Tomato sauce, pepper flakes. They were gracious about remaking.
I was recommended by a friend to come here because the food was good. I pass it all the time but never noticed it because it was situated in nordstrom itself. The food here was ok, I got the burger. For the price, it was a generous portion compared to many other gourmet burger places. However, it was just standard, nothing special. Service was just ok, a little slow even though it wasn't as busy. OVerall, I would come back if I'm hungry and is in the area.
We met friends for lunch and everyone liked the variety the menu offered. No one was disappointed with their selections either. The food was fresh, the service attentive but not intrusive. It was a good place to meet, away from the mall traffic and convenient.
Unusually bad meal in a restaurant we often frequent. Three out of four entrees returned and replaced with fair meals. Roast chicken came out looking a mess and the waiter said it had gotten stuck to the pan. Who serves something like that? The salmon was dry and old looking and not cooked correctly. The french dip beef was dry and fatty. They tried to make it right but, obviously, the kitchen was being manned by an amateur that night!
My wife and I both had salads which were good. If you are looking for a decent meal while out shopping, this is fine. However, they decided to vacuum around our table during our meal and the service was slow in light of how few people were in the restaurant.
A nice place to eat if you're in the mall shopping and are looking for a nice sit down lunch or dinner with that special Nordstrom hospitality. If you're just dropping in there is a chance you may have to wait depending on how busy it is so the other option is to make a reservation. I'm a regular customer here and they always have specials as well as the regular favorites.
We went for dinner with our 18 month old daughter our server, Jennifer, was absolutely fantastic. She really went the extra mile and kept our little diner happy and engaged. Highly recommend the Nordstrom Grill for families. The food is good. The price is very reasonable for what you get.
We made a reservation thinking it would be a nice place to have dinner in Bellevue. We are from out of town and expected a moderately nice restaurant. The restaurant was nice, the server was pleasant, the food was average at best. This was a case of expectations being different than reality. I expected better food from a restaurant located in Norstorm. The food was not bad, it was unremarkable. The kitchen got our order wrong and the server was super nice about it and didn't bring the food out wrong. She had them redo our order and brought us a cup of soup to hold us over while we waited. The attentive server was the highlight of the experience.
So, shopping at Nordstrom in Bellevue we had to grab a bite to eat and the grill had an appealing menu but our expectation were average. We were quite amazed at both the food and service and environment. Everything exceeded our expectation. We have been back 5 times in 2 months. It is becoming a go to spot for food and an elegant quiet place eat. The wild salmon Caesar is out standing and we loved every item we have ordered including the Halibut fish and chips.
There is not much of a wine list but the bartender has some great cocktails he has designed.
It wasn't a spot we expected to love but we do. Don't know if the grill just happens to have a great chef right now but clearly worth a try.
I usually eat here weekly for a nice friendly dinner to catch up on the week with my best friend. The menu items are good and sometimes I eat the same thing every week. (Think roast beef au jus) It's a nice comfort to have a good menu. I also venture to specials which are good too! The French fries are the best. The service is generally good as well. They are good to recommend what's good that night. They keep drinks refilled and let you talk.
