Ambiance is perfect, there was an acoustic guitar player that didn’t know the words to any of the songs so it wasn’t worth the noise. The food was delicious but the portion size for my ravioli was not worth the price. The tables we’re too close to each other but it was very comfortable and romantic inside.
We had one issue our son had to return his meal back to the kitchen to because it was cold. By the time he had, it returned to him the rest of the group had almost finished there meal. Even though that had happened our son still enjoyed his meal.
Nice atmosphere and great service! I have been there numerous times and have never had a bad visit.
Food was great, service was excellent. We’re never disappointed going to Nora’s
Great food... reasonable prices. Service is excellent
The restaurant ambience was excellent. Nice and quiet, so we could talk. The service was outstanding, very knowledgeable, very attentive without being overbearing. The food was cooked as ordered. We will definitely be back.
Great ambiance specially when they have live music!
We ate there new year's eve so the noise volume was a little louder than usual but we could still talk and hear each other without a need to raise our voices and despite being not too far from the fabulous live music. The food was excellent and the specials for new year's were absolutely fabulous, including their special drink. Highly recommend for any occasion. Not to be missed are the sausage stuffed mushrooms on the regular menu as an appetizer as well as lollipop lamb chops...Enjoy!
Nora's always delivers a consistent, quality experience. Jenn and her staff are super friendly and accommodating. We can go with or without kids and it's always a pleasure.
Our meal was outstanding and our server was fabulous. We've been going to this restaurant for 2 years and always fantastic.
One my favorites, great atmosphere, always decorating nicely for christmas. Staff is always pleasant. Good menu choices.
I have always gone to Nora's in the past for quiet, celebratory dinners, but had no idea if you sat downstairs by the bar (it's sectioned off by French doors) that you could not only have a great dinner with the full menu but also enjoy listening to a two man band and being around people having fun in the bar. We were there for my daughter's birthday (party of 7), and every single entrée came out perfect for everyone at our table. It was a really fun night out and not just another "dinner out." I will be coming back soon and bringing friends!
Simple ingredients, simple food, simply delicious. Our waitstaff Joelle was charming, knowledgeable, and an absolute doll. We enjoyed ourselves, and will definitely be back
Great food, Great Service, Great menu! I suggest to make a reservation on the weekends as the word is out how good the food is,
We ate there 3 times in 5 days, so need I say more? Great food and great service. We will be back again when we visit the area
My friend and I ate there twice while we were in the area. The food was delicious and the service was terrific.
Tons of fun!!! One of my favorite places to go. Food and atmosphere as well as the music is great
I walked in and it was very loud. We were sat a a table for 2 which was fine only I had a wall next to me and the table was small. Unfortunately for the servers they had to walk by me to serve the food and there was not much room, the food was ok and salad was an extra charge. Service was very good. I ordered fra diaVolo which was lacking flavor and there was no lobster to be found which the menu stated there was to be some. There was live music which was very enjoyable. My wife had beef marsAla which had again not much flavor. Portions were very good, not to much but enough to satisfy most appetites. Parking was limited. Maybe an off night for the restraunts food but I will try to sit in the bar and have pub type food and listen to the music. Prices were not outrageous but certainly not cheap.
We love this place.
The steak was not cooked to requested temperature so I sent it back. It came back and was so rough I couldn’t chew it. The two other tables around us also complained about their steaks. The upside is that the waitress took it off my bill. The snickers pie was great as was the pierogi appetizer.
We were a group of 5 and all of us enjoyed our meals. The menu changes frequently, but always has a good variety to accommodate different tastes. The chef will prepare meals to accommodate food allergies if need be. The staff is very friendly. Our waitress was Joelle, and she very pleasant, had a beautiful smile, and gave us exemplary service. I enjoyed the surf n turf...6oz filet mignon with lobster, green beans, lobster stuffed ravioli and lobster mashed potatoes. The glazed salmon with cognac was also delicious! It is a small ,quaint restaurant. We would definitely recommend this for an enjoyable dining experience. Prices are reasonable. Comfortable in a little black dress, or casual dress.
We were unexpectedly delighted to run into Nora's on our way south from Amherst, MA. It was the perfect place for a Saturday night: great beer list, good cocktails, good food, friendly and accommodating staff - and music! Who knew. Thanks to all.
Nora’s is a town favorite with great views, ambiance, service and most importantly delicious food!! They also have great entertainment on select nights; you won’t regret dining here.
Great waitstaff that gave me a great table outside while I waited for the rest of my group. They took my drink order and helped me choose apps so my family had something to eat when they arrived. Very attentive and found a table for us inside when it got too warm. The tuna was out of this world! Done to perfection. Will return soon.
My fish was so dry, I couldn't eat it. Small salads are additional cost even though it was a substitute for something that came with the meal, bringing the price over what the meal should have cost
Have never had a bad experience at Nora's, well the Brussels sprouts got lost once, but were eventually found.
It's a small place but w/multiple seating option: pub, adjacent dining area, a quieter small upstairs dining area and and an upstairs deck. And 2 menus: pub & Dining.
There were 3 of us on a Friday for dinner and live music. We shared 5 appetizers and all were enjoyable.
The wait staff are attentive and enthusiastic, drinks contain an honest pour, and the tonic wasn't flat!
It's become a regular stop.
The food was spectacular!!! Everything was cooked to perfection. My husband couldn't rave enough about the gorganzola sauce he had with his steak. My salmon melted in my mouth. The only thing disappointing was I love a New Zealand Sauvignon Blanc and by the glass you only had a Californian wine which was very disappointing. Since I was not going to drink a whole bottle myself I will probably next time just not get a glass.
One of our very special places to eat.
This was our first visit to Nora's and overall I think it was good but certainly not outstanding. The waitstaff was friendly and very attentive. We started with the Nora Salad and the veggies were fresh but the dressing was flat, almost milky, served with a ton of gorgonzola cheese so that made up for the lack of flavor. Our entree's (one vegetarian, one seafood), were much like a home cooked meal and not as gourmet as the price would lead you to believe. We'll go back to Nora's sometime in the future but it's not a place that will be at the top of our list.
Always great food and I frequent often; you won’t be sorry..
Excellent entree selection! Had the Haddock which was a very large serving and so very good. Caesar salad and calamari. Highly recommend. Live music in the bar so a little loud.
Great live music, good food and friendly service. The pub seats were great.
We sat in the bar area. There was a guitar player , who was good, but much too loud. We had to yell just to talk to the person next to me. The food was good but expensive and small quantities
Horrifying brunch for Mother’s Day - Tippy table, dirty floor, no table settings. Cold, tasteless, overpriced food. R U Kidding!
Wait staff very nice :)
Mother’s Day brunch
Had to wait 45 minutes at least for the bacon to me replenished
Waffles were cold
Quiche was not warm. Awful. I never heard of seeming cold quiche before. I seemed like it was just taken out of frig and put out to eat
Syrup was empty
Coffee cake was replenished as we were leaving. I waited for an hour for it
4 had omelette and came just as we were leaving.
Not very well organized
Tea and coffee empty.
I have never seen anything like it before.
We went for a Mother’s Day Brunch. Not a single waitress came to our table the whole time we were there. We asked the hostess what do & she told us to help ourselves to the buffet. The buffet food was luke warm & the pasta dried out. No one came by to clear dishes from our table. And I had to stop someone randomly to ask for our check. Nora’s is across the street from the lake, and view is minimal. I will definitely not go there again.
We went for Mother’s Day brunch Buffet. Make sure to note that you need a low top table if you have kids. Food was cold unless you dug to the bottom of the serving trays. Food was mostly quality especially the omelets, but was served on the bar top for the most part so it seemed a little bit thrown together last minute, and the waffles and French toast seemed like the kind you get in the frozen isle at the grocery store.
The price wasn’t bad however, and kids under 5 are free so that made up for a lot of the other deficiencies. Overall pretty good for the value.
Mother’s Day weekend
Nora’s is a consistently high quality dining experience. Fantastic, well balanced and interesting menu, with plenty of nightly specials to keep things interesting. Great wine list, wonderfully friendly and attentive staff, and great ambience. Outside dining in the summer months, on the second floor deck with beautiful lake and hill views.
Highly recommended for any special occasion, or dinner with friends and family. Nora’s is perfection.
Solid meal...nice guitarist...view of Lake....very nice waitress-Brandy..
