Small space, so reservation is very helpful at busy times. Some of the best calamari around, and the kabobs are tender, flavorful and moist. Could be a quick bite (or take-out), but also a relaxed 3-course meal with good cocktails and terrific sangria.
What can we say? We love Nora’s Kabob! Tonight we ordered the Saffron Salamn Kabob, the Pom Beef Kabob, and the smoked eggplant appetizer. Had a Russian beer and the dry red Armenian wine. All delicious, as usual. The only thing they can improve on is dessert...never had one that we liked. EVERYTHING ELSE IS ALWAYS DELICIOUS and the portions are generous, price reasonable. Fresh ingredients, friendly and efficient service...see you soon!
Small restaurant, reservations a must, friendly staff with excellent and reasonably priced food.
Cant wait to go back.
Delicious food! Best Mediterranean we have had in a long time. Can't wait to go back!
The service is always outstanding. My husband and I have taken so many friends over, because the food is so delicious and healthy. The ambiance is conducive for conversation and it’s very intimate.
Consistently excellent and one of our favorite restaurants. They need more tables and a larger space. Be prepared to have issues parking if you are coming on a weekend night.
Our server recommended the grilled octopus, when I commented that I had read about it in a previous review and was intrigued. It was pricey but excellent. Try it!
Generous meal- I often get two meals out of my dinner entree.
Nora's has become our casual go-to place for a quick and delicious dinner. We love the trio appetizer and all the various kabob combos. We have been there 8-10 times in the last year, and every time is great. The food is really good, you can watch it being prepared in the open kitchen, and there is a lot of it.
No surprise that the kabobs were superb at Nora's Kabob but the surprise of the night was the grilled octopus. The octopus made a believer of my friend who would have no part of it at first. I ordered it as an appetizer anyway. It is a large portion, an entrée for most people. My friend had a small taste whereupon I lost half my serving to her. It's the best I ever had and would have paid twice the price at Ouzo Bay in Baltimore - no slouch of a restaurant. My suggestion for those who don't care for the taste of cucumber is to tell the server in advance because it normally comes with a lot of diced cucumber on top. I detest cucumber!
The Kabobs feature tender meats. I would have liked some sauce for the very Basamati dry rice, perhaps something like soy, although that would be a bit out of place.
I am wary of shopping center restaurants but Nora's is an exception and we will be back.
Great food, good service, quiet. What more can you ask? Others must think so too because almost all the tables were full.
First time at Nora and will definitely be going back. Food was delicious and staff was pleasant.
