Nonna’s is a Westchester hotspot that serves homemade Italian fare with a contemporary twist in its welcoming and vibrant eatery. For an ideal start to your meal, enjoy the veal, beef and pork baby meatballs with marinara and the mussels white topped with gorgonzola and pancetta. Popular macaroni dishes at Nonna’s include the goat cheese ravioli with asparagus and roasted red pepper sauce and the baked cheese manicotti with smoked mozzarella, artichokes and parmesan in tomato sauce. Some of Nonna’s other popular entrées include the red wine-braised beef short ribs with mashed potatoes, the grilled salmon with eggplant caponata and the vegetarian-friendly baked veggie parm with eggplant, cauliflower, zucchini and cheeses.
Nonna's is open daily for dinner. The restaurant also serves a tantalizing 6-course chef’s dinner, composed of the chef's chosen options, Tuesday through Saturday.
Birthday Dinner. I had mussels...pretty good. Husband had chicken picatta....dry and a little over-cooked. Wine list good. Service slow. Noisy party in the corner of the room....too bad!
Noisy, over crowded, under staffed, highlighted by under trained kitchen.
Tables were very close together where we sat in the restaurant.
With live music in the bar area on Friday night, it made things a little loud in the dining area. The staff was accommodating with seating us further away, but then we ended up right next to a boisterous group. Oh well. Still a great restaraunt as well as wonderful food.
The food was delicious. The tables were a bit close together and it was moderately noisy but my friends and I enjoyed it.
We had a very nice meal. Service staff was prompt and very pleasant.
Pleasurable experience, excellent quality and flavor, couldn't ask for better service. Nicholas (The Irish one) was our server.
Our second visit to the restaurant was New Year's Eve. The place was packed with nice people. We were greeted promptly, and were seated early in spite of the fact that we arrived way too early. The bar was packed, but that was fun (I was the DD so couldn't drink anyway). Food was good, service was great.
Food, and service is very good, and I would recommend this restaurant.
We were first time visitors here on New Years Eve. The food was good however, the Chilean Sea Bass was undercooked and therefore I could not eat the whole piece. The one plate of Veal Parmesn was very fatty and the Linguine Nonna had lots of Mussels but only one scallop and one shrimp. A bit dissappointing and pricey for the quality of the food. Entrees were at least $2 more presumbaly due to it being a holiday. The desserts were good but overpriced. Would not be my choice to revisit here.
Our first visit to Nonna's was very disappointing and will not be repeated.
We booked a table for 7:30 pm and waited at least 30 minutes to be seated even though there were several empty tables..
The food was awful and pricey compared to all other West Chester restaurants that we have visited..
We ate in a smaller, quieter room which we loved. Food and service great.
This is our 2nd time at Nonna's and it was with a group this time. The food and service was excellent. A good time was had by all. We highly recommend this restaurant.
Very good Italian food - as good as I've had in West Chester. Good bar - nice variety of beer, drinks and wine. We were very pleased with our dinners and our visit.
We had a wonderful lunch at Nonna's!!! The salads were delicious and the mussels (and their sauce) was of the highest quality! We wanted to lick our plates!!!
On our previous visit the wait staff was excellent; however, this time our server did not seem to have much time for us and took drink orders one at a time i.e. taking one person, taking it to the bar and coming back for the next person - tried to make conversation with him and he was very distracted - rushed us. On our way out, everyone else said a passing good night which was very nice but the server was very poor.
Wonderful food that was great for the whole family! Everyone loved the food that they got and said it was the best Italian that they have had at a restaurant in a long time!
Our experience was great, it was very busy however and I don't believe we got our 100 points.
The food was both beautiful and tasty. The atmosphere was perfect!
This was my second visit. The first was ok, but this one was really disappointing.
