Nonna Silvia's is a popular neighborhood restaurant nestled between Park Ridge and Edison Park. Family owned for 22 years, Chefs Steve Marti & John Giannini have been cooking authentic, regional Italian cuisine (from central Italy) since opening the restaurant. Inspired by and named after their grandmother, Silvia Giannini, Nonna Silvia's offers homemade pastas, fresh seafood, specialty pizzas, and a choice selection of local, Midwestern meats. We feature a collection of more than 60 wines (many of our wines are award-winning, Wine Spectator rated) from all over the world as well as craft beer and signature cocktails. Was so good. Had the salmon which wad fantastic; substituted garlic mashed potatoes for sweet potatoes, fantastic. Love the wine the server recommended (Cannonau di Sardegna). Will definitely be back!

Lovely Italian restaurant with a bunch of really tasty options that you wouldn’t have necessarily expected; the pumpkin raviolis were delicious and the dessert was excellent! The service was fast and very good. The restaurant itself was quite loud. Outside would be a nice option on a warm day!

Personally greeted and expected. Seated ahead of schedule when we arrived because we had mid afternoon reservations. Host explained the menu choices and was available for questions. So friendly, glad I took a chance on this local gem.

A nice neighborhood gem serving authentic Italian food. Menu choices were plentiful although less meat pasta dishes and more vegetarian and seafood pasta dishes would be welcome. Food was fresh and well seasoned. The noise level was high, making conversation challenging.
