NOLA is chef/restaurateur Emeril Lagasse’s casual eatery in the heart of New Orleans’ French Quarter. Open since 1992, the critically-acclaimed restaurant fuses traditional Creole, Acadian and Southern cuisine with global influences. Chef de Cuisine Philip Buccieri works closely with Chef Emeril to create an innovative menu showcasing rustic Louisiana cooking with local ingredients and some ethnic twists. The three-story restaurant features an open-action kitchen, chef’s food bar and a signature wood-fired brick oven. NOLA was renovated in 2017 and is now open daily at 11:30 am serving one menu for lunch and dinner.

The hype is overrated! We left hungry. The server was on another planet and was not attentive. The food was just ok

The service was excellent and we thought the oysters Rockefeller pizza was very good. Our other dishes we rated as four out of five stars. It wasn’t very busy for lunch, but it was Valentines Day and many people may have been saving their dining out for the evening.

Wonderful place, fabulous menu. Great location to all of the French Quarter. Service is very good - attentive but not invasive. Very hot (popular) spot so the enthusiasm of everyone dining can get a bit loud.

Haven't eaten at NOLA in years; my loss! great food, friendly wait staff, hostesses were very polite. No negative comments here. The 9 of us are ready to reserve our table for Lundy Gras Lunch 2019!

Best shrimp and grits on the planet. The crab cake was fantastic, and the gumbo was a delightful appetizer. Great service and fun decor. NOLA is a winner. Nice job, Emeril!

The food was okay, not great. But good. Nothing wrong with it at all, I was just expecting more. None of the desserts were even worth ordering. I think their dessert menu is very much lacking. We went to another restaurant to get dessert. The service was outstanding however and our server was fantastic, even serenading me with a little song.

Even during Mardi Gras we had a great experience at NOLA. Food was great, accommodated a party of 6 with reservation, reasonable price and great service. BBQ shrimp were great.
