Great service as always and great food
My first time at Noir. Fabulous! I will be back. East Passyunk Ave Restaurant Week was a great introduction.
My sister and I went to Noir's for lunch. We were greeted as soon as we arrived. Our reservation was for 1 and we were shown to out table at one. The food , serve and drinks were excellent. We will be returning to Noir again soon,
Food was amazing along with our server, Chuck. We will be back!
We went for restaurant week and got a great meal. We each received an appetizer, entree and dessert. Everything was delicious. They forgot the scallops that were supposed to be in the dish so they sent out a plate of fresh cooked scallops with an apology. Our waiter was very attentive. The limoncellos marscapone was heavenly! Would definitely come back again!
Restaurant week price fixe lunch. My chicken broccoli rabe with sharp provolone sandwich was great. Dining companions enjoyed pappardelle & bolognese and spaghetti with crab gravy. We unfortunately had a harried too busy server who made an error with our credit card payment then when we tried to explain the issue was adamant that she was right & we were wrong. Not a great way to end the meal.
This is our 2nd time in two weeks for lunch at NOIR (It was Restaurant Week). The food is GREAT - service super friendly - and during Restaurant Week a real bargain.

Went to Noir for Restaurant Week. The waitress told us the portions were regular size, not smaller like some restaurants serve for restaurant week. And she was right. We all took home leftovers. Dessert was also from the regular menu and sizable portions. Would definitely go back.
I loved it sooo much and I can’t express enough how great Joe was on serving us. He was so patient and so helpful on explaining the menu. Will be going back very soon.

Well worth a visit and a return trip
Made reservations for restaurant week. They told us they didn’t participate Saturday’s but we weren’t told that ahead of time. Had to wait for our appetizers because they were waiting for the eggplant to cook. Service was slow. Food was good but my dates steak was Luke warm and the onions were burnt. The gnocchi said it came with mozzarella but I had two tiny pieces mixed in not melted on top. Offered coffee and/or desert and had to wait for coffee because they were making a new pot. Finally got coffee and two more drinks then the host came over and offered to buy us a round of drinks at the bar because they had people waiting for a table! We would have been finished if the service wasn’t so slow then they rushed us out. It left a bad impression! Won’t go back.

Went for first time during Restaurant Week --- and will definitely return! The restaurant setting was delightful and the food was beautifully served and delicious. (I did think the short rib gravy was over-salted, but still enjoyed it.) Julian, the maître d’, should give classes on how to do that job perfectly. Joe was our server, and made excellent recommendations and timed bringing out our dishes flawlessly.
It was very cold at the restaurant. Cleaning should be done at the end of the night instead of while patrons are there.
The food was ok, the dessert was very good.
There was a plug in heating unit in the restroom - not a good look.
The waitress holds the glass with her hands in the rim of the glass. No proper restaurant training. I can't imagine how things are run in the kitchen.
Loved it! I’m a sucker for a beet salad and man they got me good with that. The Poutine was so amazing. The crab Mac n cheese warmed my entire soul. Perfect lunch for a cold day. Service was awesome.

We went for lunch during Restaurant week and had 2,great meals. The beet salad was delicious as was the spinach salad.
Both pastas we tried were piping hat and very flavorful, portions were generous for lunc.
The carrot cake and cheesecake were delicious

We love NOIR for lunch - especially during restaurant week. The Stuffed Portebello and Papadelle with Bologne Sauce are to die for (out of my fav chocolate cake this trip. Service is both efficient and friendly. Oh year, love the crisp italian bread.
What a pleasant surprise to find a relatively quiet restaurant with very good service and very good food. We were taking advantage of Restaurant Week and the value was terrific. Good portions. Very attentive staff. We’ll definitely return!

Restaurant is very small and loud. Service was a little slow for such a small place. Food was excellent which made it worth the wait.

The best food in South Philly, staff is great. Best stuffed artichoke, and bolognese you will ever have. Worth the trip is you live far from Philly. We come from Delaware.

Visited Noir early on a Saturday evening. Great menu choices, especially the appetizers. Really something for every taste. Best beet salad ever! About 10 entree choices that include several pasta dishes. The portions were large. A rather limited wine list, but the prices are great - not overly marked up. The place has a real bar as well. All in all, great little place and good value. We will return.
By mid evening the place was hoppin' and a little noisy.
Tried Noir for the first time and very happy I did
The food and service were fantastic. Dante was our server and was very attentive yet allowed us to have a nicely paced dinner.
We had the Spicy Shrimp appetizer and Pasta Fagioli followed by the Bolgnese and Gnocchi.
Had to try the Carrot Cake and the Pistachio Cake.
Add in a few glasses of wine and it was a fabulous meal!
Will be back soon with a bigger crowd.

Noir is a Passyunk Ave fixture that is still under the radar. Great food, service and that SP atmosphere - bring your hearing aid. The menu has lots of options. I am partial to the seafood.
Portions are huge. Great lunch for the next day
