Noi Thai Cuisine - Honolulu
Waitress was nice but lacked a refined etiquette and salmon appeared to reheated
Excellent Thai food. Some of the best we have had. Will return the next time we are in Honolulu.
The food was excellent and the kitchen did its job to make it an excellent cuisine experience however the service fell short and therefore reflected poorly on our overall experience. Water refreshes were non existent, never asked if we wanted second drinks (their loss on additional revenue and gratuity ) and the worst part was not having our dinner plates cleared after a long lull between dinner and when dessert was delivered. The waitress took our dessert order as our empty dinner plates sat on the table. Two other servers (or bus staff?) looked into our dining area but never came in to clear plates. Then 3 desserts were brought out with all our dirty dinner plates, empty alcoholic drink glasses and empty water glasses sat on the table. After getting frustrated and refusing dessert to be placed before it was cleared we still only got the dinner plates removed and all empty glassware stayed for the duration of the night. The server took off 2 kids ice creams as compensation on our $400+ bill! I would have complained to a manager but never could find anyone that seemed to be that person and when I approached the hostess stand to ask the 2 staff there, they were so overwhelmed with guests waiting to be seated, take out orders, and phone calls ... one of which I saw them put on hold and never pick up again... that I lost patience waiting to ask for a manager. In a city that offers many Thai options I would recommend going elsewhere even though the food was delicious. Kudos to the kitchen and Chef though
Food was excellent. Service was average...staff seemed like they just wanted to go home (seemed exhausted). The noise was a bit much.
Food was excellent as was the service. Our servers recommendations were spot on. Highly recommend.
Super good, especially the crispy garlic chicken and the pineapple fried rice. Yummy.
Our server/bartender Cody was great! Food tasted great but I question some of the portion sizes. To be fair, we did order mostly off the happy hour menu. Charging $8 for 2 sticks of satay is kind of ridiculous. Other than that very happy with taste of food (especially krapow gai and mango sticky rice).
This is a beautiful Thai restaurant. The menu while not extensive is very adequate. It’s in the Royal Hawaiian Shopping Center so that would explain why the meals are so expensive. The food is delicious but plan to spend about 50% more than most Thai restaurants
Nice quiet lunch spot to talk
Awesome food as usual. The service and food were amazing!
Food was quite good. It’s a bit pricey but not surprising for the location.
Excellent! Food was great, nicely presented! Nice atmosphere.
Lunch was quiet and the restaurant was not full. Service was friendly and professional. Food was very good with large portions.
It was for a birthday but it was not acknowledged. Two people asked for their food to be mild but it was prepared very spicy.
Great food but felt rushed by wait staff and quickness of bringing out meals. Felt like they wanted you in/out so they could get other people in for a sitting. This was not disiimliar to many other resturants in Waikiki, but it was disappointing.
Delicious, quiet and calm. Good service.
Quick service with reservations, great menu choices for vegan and vegetarian patrons.
Restaurant is dirty and furniture worn. Food was nothing to rave about. Deserts were served cold which should have been hot
Told waitress and she said yeah they haven’t perfected that dish yet! What?
Must be for people trapped by hotel area only
Way too expensive for poor quality and run down dirty floors as well
Great Thai food. Huge portions. Never had a bad experience here. The coconut curry soup and garlic chicken are my two favorites.
Good food. Excellent service.
Was not a great meal. Service was poor. They kept playing one or two songs for their background music . Very annoying! Would not go to this place again. Try Ragoon Burmanese in Chinatown which is excellent.
Great food and service
Food was great! Had an extensive vegetarian menu which was great. Will be back for sure!
We loved the sample platter! There were so many great hits to our taste buds! And, the vegetarian wraps were delicious! I would probably order one of the samples, the vegetarian rolls and one new choice next time!
We made reservations for early supper for 5:45–were seated at table for 2 right next to kitchen even though there were 6 or seven tables open🤨. Constant traffic back and forth really was distracting and rather ruined our dinner out. Would definitely recommend you ask for seating on Diamond Head side (not Ewa side of bar). The food was excellent, wait staff fairly attentive but would recommend you be really selective about table they pick.
Even noticed 2 people arrived around 6:30 and they got seated at cozy table for 4 off in quiet area separate from regular tables—hmmm; spoke to hostess when we left and she was “hey I’m kinda busy now”—not very client oriented or professional! Will think twice before returning
Some of the finest Thai food I’ve had in the States.
Poor service!!! Over priced food and very westernized Thai food. Not authentic at all
Great food. Checked in for our reservation and we were seated within 5 minutes.
This was one of the most unwelcoming experiences we have had at a restaurant. We arrived for our reservation to be told we had an hour and a half to eat as they needed our table. I am serious, that is what we were told at the door. Then the restaurant manager came over to tell us the exact same thing. The reason was that they were overbooked/busy. From there our appetizers were delivered to the table before our drinks. It was not 5 minutes later that the manager came to our table to ask if we were ready for our main courses. We requested that they wait until we finished our drinks which they did not. Instead they brought our food immediately. I was so annoyed at being rushed and feeling unwelcome that I did not eat the food. Instead we sent it back and requested our check. We paid, complained (which they did not care) and left. Total time in their restaurant was 45 minutes. We have supported Noi Thai from their opening week on every trip to Oahu and we have gone 22 times to the islands. However, that has come to an end as we will never go back to Noi Thai nor would we recommend them to anyone especially because of the their unwelcoming attitude. They will never another dime of our money. Absolutely horrible.
This is a real shame as Noi Thai has always been one our favorite restaurants in Hawaii but not anymore. We are done with that restaurant.
Excellent- the best and most beautiful Thai food I have had! Delicious!
Great food and great service. Only 2 strikes - Our table faced the mall and the washrooms we’re 3rd world clean
One of the most delicious Thai restaurants in Waikiki. I highly recommend any of the salmon dishes on the menu!
I am celiac and it can be difficult to find restaurants which have a good variety of dishes which are gluten free - Noi is an exception. Although we were in Honolulu for only six days (from New Zealand) we ate their two nights. Highly recommend the Larb and the Penang Curry.
The mixed appetizer plate were all very good however, the Tom Yum lacked flavour and nowhere near as spicy as Tom Yum we have had elsewhere. The service was excellent and the location ideal for a visit to the hula show afterwards.
Felt very rushed - had barely taken last bite of appetizer and the main was thrust upon the table. From entering to leaving - including drinks, 2 apps and 2 mains - took 30 minutes. Not great experience. Would understand some speed if the restaurant was busy but was barely even half full.
Absolutely love the food and ambiance
