Noe at the Omni Los Angeles Ratings and Reviews
My girlfriend and I had the Groupon deal, and we were very pleased with our experience to say the least. Everything about this place is above expectations. The ambiance, the food and the service were all outstanding. Our waiter was an older french gentleman, and he was great.
I took my girlfriend out for a date and we had a great time. The seating was nice. We had a table overlooking the skyline. The waiter was very attentive and helpful when it came to suggestions. The food was delicious. The portions were satisfying. Overall we had a pleasant experience and glad we chose this place for our date night.
We went on Thanksgiving: Pre-set menu with three courses. Spring Salad was very good, as was my companion's rib roast. As a vegetarian, I had the mushroom ravioli, which was very meh, as was dessert, which relied mostly on ice cream for flavor. No wine per glass, so we ordered a half bottle of Merlot, which was screw top. Generally, a pleasant but overpriced meal - with the wine, no other drinks or beverage, it was $144.00 before tip. It was very quiet and we had a table near the window which looked out on the patio dining, so that was nice. I would try the patio dining.
Spent a special weekend at Omni Hotel, saw a show at the Music Center and had dinner at Noe.
It was a special anniversary and we enjoyed the downtown Los Angeles area. The dinner at Noe was very good. The server was helpful, friendly, and attentive. The food was quite good. My partner had the salmon and I had the scallops. Both well prepared and very tasty. The salmon was as good as I have tasted. The only complaint was that there was one or two very loud people at a near by table. The room did little to dim the sounds.
We came here with a Groupon Deal and it was an excellent value!
The food was fresh and on point! Our server was super courteous and had perfect timing when checking up on us.
Here's the details on my meal.
Appetizer was the Tuna Tartare which was good. (4/5)
My Rib Eye steak was cooked perfectly rare & good sized steak. (5/5) I gave my husband at least 1/3 of my steak.
They let me substitute my mashed potatoes for brussel sprouts and the brussel sprouts were heaven! (5+++/5)
I had the Raspberry Tea Lemonade cocktail which was super tasty. LOVE it! (5/5)
Dessert was the Pistachio Cake which was tasty. (4/5)
Only downside is that valet parking at the OMNI hotel is $10 but it's downtown LA.
Went with my lady to an orchestra at the Walt Disney Concert Hall then had a groupon for this restaurant and it was the definition of fancy dining and I felt as if I was pampered alongside my beautiful woman. It was our first fancy date not only with each other but just in general and I couldn’t have chose a better place to have that special occasion than Noe’s Restaurant.
I had the rib eye and it was phenomenally cooked!
Very disappointing. Had to ask for water glasses to be filled, not refilled, but filled 20 minutes after ordering and after soup served. The clam bisque was excellent. Main course served before finishing the soup course. We both ordered the Kurobato Pork Chop and both chops were overcooked and dry. The check was brought and were not offered desert. Asking for desert, there were no menus brought out and the waiter offered only 3 options!!
Service was friendly - once we found our server. We were offered one roll, and then couldn't find the bread server again. No one ever offered us coffee or tea. The menu was printed in a very small font, and, being seniors, it was hard to read. The food was good.
Our waiter Akli was outstanding! He was very professional, friendly, and attentive. Our dinner was wonderful with his service at our table. He’s sure a great asset to Noe Restaurant at Omni Hotel & Resort. We’d stay longer and enjoy the food if I didn’t get paged coming back to hospital for work.
We have eaten several times before at Noe. It seems to be going down in food quality. We both had pasta. The bolognese had way too much tomato. The vegetarian pasta was awful: very little flavor, the pasta was soggy and had the texture of canned Chef Boyardi. We won't be back.
Unfortunately, the food was not great and the service was a little lacking. It was ok nothing terrible but just ok. The real disappointment was that my boyfriends steak (requested medium) was cooked medium well and very dry. For the price it all should have been good but it was just ok. They did give us our wine for free because of the over cooked steak.
This is a very charming restaurant in the middle of downtown LA. Valet parking was very convenient. The restaurant has a very comfortable bar/lounge area and a more formal dining area. There is a piano for live music. The patio was reserved for a private event, but it seemed like it would be a cozy area to enjoy a meal. The drinks were well made, and the food was very good. Overall it was a great experience.
This was a birthday celebration for a dear friend. I had gotten a Groupon which was very helpful in making everything more affordable. The staff was very attentive and the food was quite tasty. I had the ribeye and my friend had the risotto with scallops. Since neither of us drink, the waiter was very accommodating...allowing us to enjoy two appetizers instead of one. When dessert came, instead of one dessert we were treated with a sampling of all with the requisite birthday candle to blow out. All in all it was a lovely evening and we both felt very pampered!
All of the food was great. We had the scallops, pork chop, rib eye, and the hot date cake. We had the cheese and meat platter sort of randomly and were surprised with the amount and quality of the dish. They have a varied selection of food, the cocktails were strong, and the flan was delicious. Service was also good.
Bacon-wrapped dates were a good appetizer, but my fish from their special Spanish menu was a disaster. The bottom of the plate had a thin layer, not a bed, of what must have been Minute Rice with very little taste or connection We were made to wait seven minutes for our five o'clock reservation despite the nearly empty restaurant with setups already on the tables. to Spain. The fish itself was warmed, not cooked, and had an unpleasant gelatinous texture. I had a bite of my friend's osso buco, which was acceptably cooked and seasoned.
