Noe at the Omni Los Angeles Ratings and Reviews
Valentine's day dinning occasion usually costs more than you expect, where noe at omni provided dinner set for four courses of 89 per person is quite reasonable. (as compared to other's costing $68 for three courses) Booked the earliest section with the restaurant. Idea and decors at the restaurant is great, complimentary rosá is satisfied for the wait. Overall the sitting and atmosphere is satisfying but the dish serving and set routine indicating a lack of practice. (may be the restaurant is not used to the set menu option for the consumers) Food is as expected with no surprised, service attitude is great, will come back again for causal lunch may be, idk haha.
Overall was a pretty good experience. Disappointing in that it was a special birthday, which the receptionist mentioned upon arriving, but the server did not acknowledge at all! Also I have to say that ordering a cocktail before dinner was also disappointing. My husband order a Bailey's and got about a thimble full, and I order a scotch on the rocks with the smallest amount of scotch and a huge ice cube making it look full.
Over priced. Food was okay, place was small nothing too fancy. I’ve been to other restaurants with better food at a lower price. Service was friendly. Overall I would say this place is average and expensive because of the area. There’s always a first time for everything, this was my first and last time at this restaurant.
Four of us dined here before the opera. We told our server about our schedule, and our meal was served with perfect pacing and timing to get us out at the appointed time. Servers were friendly and courteous, though perhaps not as polished as one would expect in a venue this pricey. The food was very good and plated beautifully without being fussy. You might not ordinarily expect to find this level of dining in an ordinary business-class hotel. You might also be a bit surprised to see how the bill mounts up, but all things considered, it was fair. Oh--they also have an excellent piano player.
Excellent service - attentive but not intrusive. Allowed us to be very leisurely, which was preferred. Wait staff went beyond expectations when we wanted to share a plate with Great Grandpa who eats very little. Beautiful restaurant, tasty food. Quite pricey, especially the cocktails, but the generous service made up for the high cost.
We were visiting LA for a training session, and since our anniversary was upcoming we wanted to find someplace for a nice dinner as well. We came across the groupon for Noe and decided to purchase it. We had a reservation but arrived earlier than scheduled. We got seated right away and had our choice of outside or inside. It was a beautiful night, and being from Oregon we were enjoying the weather, so sat outside. Our food was really good. Our waiter was very knowledgeable and didn't rush us. We would go back for a special occasion.
This was my 3rd time here. It was super crowded and noisy, but miraculously we did get seated around our reservation time. We sat outside by the fire pit and had a glass of wine before dinner. Very nice. The hostess was a doll, but our waiter seemed a bit stressed (after all, it was very busy), but it was noticed. Nevertheless, I will be back. Food is terrific and it is cozy.
This was a birthday dinner before going to Disney Hall for an LA Phil concert. The wait staff was very conscious of our time constraints, and kept the right pace perfectly. The food was excellent, and the ambiance was quiet luxury. Very enjoyable experience.
I was in town for a conference and this was a very convenient dinner spot while staying at the Omni. I actually dined here twice-solo on the patio, and with a dear friend inside. Although the view and city sounds and lively atmosphere of outdoor seating was appreciated, choking to death on other diners' cigar smoke limited the overall experience. Servers were professional, pleasant, and attentive. I would definitely recommend and would dine there again. And honestly, I think that having a positive attitude and open mind can greatly enhance any dining experience. Last, the croissants at the Omni are my favorite! (Not sure if "Noe-fare," but....love em' anyway).
First time at Noe Restaurant at the Omni Hotel both the hostess and waiter displayed humor and made us feel welcome. We sat outside with gas heaters around us so that we were comfortable on a chilly evening. Tried some new flavors, Irish coffee, English port and charbroiled cauliflower, all were delicious. My scallops with shrimp risotto were cooked perfectly. My husband was very happy with his rib-eye in wine reduction sauce. We had a lemon soufflé cake that complemented the meal for dessert. The view of LA rooftops, the ambiance, and the service was impeccable. Thank you. It was low key and elegant, just what we were looking for my husband's 65th birthday. Great value since we used a Groupon coupon.
The menu was impressive and inviting, but the kitchen and staff didn't deliver on its promises. Our server was pleasant but inexperienced (she couldn't tell us what some of the ingredients were -- for example, an exotic mushroom and an Asian herb; we looked them up using Google before she could return from the kitchen with information). My dinner partner's entree, sea bass, was tasty and well-prepared. But my roasted chicken entree, although properly seasoned, was tough, dried-out, overcooked, and mostly inedible. I suspect it had spent a long time under a radiant warmer. Our schedule didn't allow time for me to send it back and request a re-do, so I left the table hungry and disappointed. I won't return.
The Omni hotel is well designed. Impressive in a very understated way. the Noe restaurant is quiet, lovely to dine in with a downtown view. Outside dining available. Great bar and lounge area.
The food was not as spectacular, but the service was excellent. A very soft flowing restaurant.
Recommended for casual and intimate gatherings.
I had a lovely time at Noe at the Omni. Our server was amazing and had great food and drink recommendations for us (it was our first time there). Everyone was friendly (our host, our server and other employees).
I would recommend Noe at the Omni to anyone who is looking for a gorgeous view and great service and delicious food!
the worst experience I've had in many years, the horrible service, the very bad food, I take a very bad taste in my mouth to have gone to this place. I do not recommend it, another think they never Checking in . Open table send me a email asking me what was the reason that I could not go to my reservation.
We enjoyed the fixed price menu for New Years Eve. A nice selection of different items in each category was on this menu and they were kind enough to allow a substitution on one item for me. The beet salad was delicious and colorful. The serving sizes were large. The desserts were fabulous! They came with a “Happy New Year” on a chocolate piece with gold lettering. I had the lemon dessert and my husband said his peanut butter chocolate one was incredible.
We would return here for dinner next time we are in LA.
