Noe at the Omni Los Angeles Ratings and Reviews
I had a lovely time at Noe at the Omni. Our server was amazing and had great food and drink recommendations for us (it was our first time there). Everyone was friendly (our host, our server and other employees).
I would recommend Noe at the Omni to anyone who is looking for a gorgeous view and great service and delicious food!
the worst experience I've had in many years, the horrible service, the very bad food, I take a very bad taste in my mouth to have gone to this place. I do not recommend it, another think they never Checking in . Open table send me a email asking me what was the reason that I could not go to my reservation.
We enjoyed the fixed price menu for New Years Eve. A nice selection of different items in each category was on this menu and they were kind enough to allow a substitution on one item for me. The beet salad was delicious and colorful. The serving sizes were large. The desserts were fabulous! They came with a “Happy New Year” on a chocolate piece with gold lettering. I had the lemon dessert and my husband said his peanut butter chocolate one was incredible.
We would return here for dinner next time we are in LA.
I read the reviews so I purchase a voucher on groupon it was nice when we walked in. Our server was not very attentive only towards the end. The Manager ask if everything was ok. We said yes but would like more warm bread. He went to kitchen & didnt follow up with us. We asked several people our server were nowhere to be found. She seem to be running around, but apparently she forgot about us. We ask the bus boy/runner he brought it out right away. We were generous tippers being that it was xmas holiday. We gave 22% tip even if the service was terrible. Overall the food was ok. Wife Salmon was melt in ur mouth delicious, but mine was SUPER SALTY!!! Overall the price is way over priced for drinks but wasn't made well!!! I will give another chance to see how they perform....
Our waiter and wait staff were obviously all novices. I mean, it was as if they had never dined in a restaurant before themselves. Just one example: we were handed our menus, and I asked about wine offerings. The waiter said they were listed in the menu, and pointed to a small section. He departed. I then read the section, and it was for wines by the glass. Awhile later, he returned to the table. I asked for the wine list. He responded with surprise! Then went off and got one for me.
Located in the Omni Hotel 2 blocks from Walt Disney Concert Hall in Los Angeles. Wonderful ambience and lovely outdoor dining area. Terrific ahi tuna appetizer and exceptionally delicious hand cut ribeye served with yukon mashed potatoes and broccolini. All were perfectly seasoned. The lemon pudding cake with blackberry compote was amazing. We were attracted to try NOE due to a groupon deal and will definitely return.
Service was vastly understaffed. We weren't greeted by a waiter until we asked for one. Bread service was stale. When we mentioned the poor service to the manager, his reply was "we were under staffed". While honest, not the response a customer wants to hear. No apology.
Food was good. Not french as one may assume from the decor or as advertised. Staff was very friendly otherwise. Just really need more waiters.
My girlfriend and I had the Groupon deal, and we were very pleased with our experience to say the least. Everything about this place is above expectations. The ambiance, the food and the service were all outstanding. Our waiter was an older french gentleman, and he was great.
I took my girlfriend out for a date and we had a great time. The seating was nice. We had a table overlooking the skyline. The waiter was very attentive and helpful when it came to suggestions. The food was delicious. The portions were satisfying. Overall we had a pleasant experience and glad we chose this place for our date night.
We went on Thanksgiving: Pre-set menu with three courses. Spring Salad was very good, as was my companion's rib roast. As a vegetarian, I had the mushroom ravioli, which was very meh, as was dessert, which relied mostly on ice cream for flavor. No wine per glass, so we ordered a half bottle of Merlot, which was screw top. Generally, a pleasant but overpriced meal - with the wine, no other drinks or beverage, it was $144.00 before tip. It was very quiet and we had a table near the window which looked out on the patio dining, so that was nice. I would try the patio dining.
