I attended Noe as part of my anniversary celebration. I was greeted warmly. Piano music was playing live and the pianist played really well. It was quite something... to eat while listening to live piano music. It made for a more romantic experience. We ordered calamari, the salmon dish, and cheesecake as a dessert. We also ordered a glass of merlot and Sauv. We got complimentary champagne glasses as part of our anniversary celebration. The server was nice, but in my opinion could have been more attentive. The dessert took long to come out and it was not that great 3/5. Nonetheless, we enjoyed our time. I would recommend this place, although it needs improvement on the service. Overall, I liked the dining experience.
Excellent service. Great location. Piano bar adjacent, which made for a lovely pre-dinner drink.
We paid $20 for a margarita and the steak (filet mignon) was horrible there was absolutely no seasoning on the steak.
I took my wife for a date night. The ambience was great. We sat in the corner, and had a great view of the outside as the sun set.
This restaurant is awesome
The food is absolutely great
Best calamari. We had an issue with a Groupon due to Groupon and they took care of everything
Service was a bit slow, but the server was a little over-loaded. He was however, knowledgable and friendly. Restaurant is pricey, but we had a groupon. Definitely the way to go.
I had amazing wedding anniversary. Food was magnificent.
Congratulations again on the anniversary! Thank you for joining us!
All waiting staff were super friendly and professional; they made me and my spouse's anniversary dinner very special. Great attention, great food, exemplary staff!
Nice location in downtown LA, near Disney Hall and Dorothy Chandler.
Thank you for the kind review! We hope to see you soon!
The elevator wasn't working when we came in and no one was at the valet park station either
It took 3 requests to get lemons and ice for my water.
When I asked about getting chard, the waiter rushed to tell me there were no substitutions allowed with the entree, even though I just wanted a side of chard.
The beet salad was good and so was the dessert but the potatoes Lyonnaise were undercooked and the New York steak was tough and gristly.
Not worth the money and they overcharged us and the other Groupon couple til the error was pointed out
Not worth the money and the hassle plus the $13 parking charge
Barely any service, if at all. We ordered Mussels, ribeye, bouillabaisse, mocha chocolate, smooth flight, and old fashioned. After ordering, Victor, the other server, came by with some breads/butter once and we never heard from him again.
Our appetizer came out in 15 mins but forgot our drinks. I had to catch our main server after about 20 mins in. Also, we were there for an hour 45 mins and he never really came by to check on us unless I called him over.
With $$$ price, we think the server should have been much more attentive than how he was servicing us. Overall, this server provided very very minimal service for the price we paid.
The food is less than mediocre. We had much better food at this price point elsewhere. The mussels were ok but we had better and cheaper. Ribeye, I told the server guy "medium well" and it came medium rare to medium. It was big but tasteless. Bouillabaisse was ok but had better. Mocha chocolate is ok. Cocktails were the best out of everything. We really like smooth flight.
Everything came out pretty quick except for the drinks the server forgot and our dessert, which I think should have been the quickest thing but took the longest time.
We were sitting outside with downtown views around us. If you sit inside, there's a pianist playing live classical music.
Price is NOT WORTH IT AT ALL. Not even with Groupon. Price here should be in the medium $$ not $$$.
Total bill 162.06 w/tax (not including tip yet)
$9.06 (paid additional after $153 credit from Groupon)
$20 tip (a little below 15% and I really wanted to only do 10% but my wife wouldn't let me)
$13 valet parking w/validation
Total was $118.06. We saved $77 total.
it was our ANNIVERSARY but they made no attempts to give complimentary champagne or wishful writing on the dessert.
Do not recommended and not coming back.
Great food, great service
They were a little busy, but the service was great and food amazing! Thanks!
First time eating here and a very pleasant dining experience. Even though we came in towards closing, 9:30, our server gave us impeccable service. We were never rushed or hurried in the slightest. The mussels were a great starter, and we both had the filet mignon. Although we ordered them prepared differently, they both came out exactly as ordered. For dessert we initially ordered the lemon cake, but while the taste was great, it was way over the top with lemon taste for her liking. With that said, our server graciously exchanged it for the chocolate hazelnut mousse, which was amazing. We will definitely be back in the near future.
Excellent service by Jose, everything was attentive on time and delicious
Our anniversary was amazing! Thank you!
Great place for a romantic dinner. Food was delicious. Service was very good. Chose the outdoor seating which we enjoyed. Would eat again and recommend this restaurant.
It was an awful disturbing smell of the restroom throughout the entire building. It seemed hotel was having the plumbing system issue. We paid the cost using Groupon. The cost of the meals that we ordered was less what the waitress charged, however she automatically added 18% tip to the full cost pay on the top of it.
Horrible smell outside, and the food was salty but did give us another plate.
Great food, location price was remarkable with the groupon discount
I took my sister here for her birthday dinner. Hostess and waitress service were exceptional. We ordered an ahi appetizer which smelled very fishy which usually means the fish was old and not fresh. I also ordered salmon for dinner which was also tasted like it wasn’t fresh so I did not finish eating my entree. My sister ordered filet mignon and it was excellent. The chocolate mousse desert was very good.
Consistently good food. Menu changes but there are always good choices.
The service and servers were on top of it kind attentive and the food was outstanding I would definitely go again. With the groupon, it was a great deal!!
Fatty steak and service not as attentive as usual
Great services. waitress was friendly and food was well cooked. We will visit again
I enjoyed the overall experience at Noe. I would recommend it to my friends and family and will not hesitate to go back there again
I thought that the restaurant was on the top of the Omni but it was on the third floor. It did not have a city-wide view but the restaurant had a great garden and outside area to look out at so there was no problem. Nice and bright space.
We could talk and understand each other. The noise did not bounce all over.
The food was excellent especially the ahi starter. The service was excellent too. It was our anniversary and they presented us with a glass of champagne each.
After dinner, we went outside to the seating area with the firepits and comfortable chairs and sofas and continued to enjoy the night.
Very nice evening.
Lovely romantic spot
Drinks were good but overpriced. Steaks were over cooked, seafood was salty and over cooked, service was good, hmm, I would not recommend this to my friends and family.
Calamari appetizers were the only good thing. Entrees were not good. No flavor. Meat was tough and fatty risotto smelled fishy. Ordered rib eye and salmon. Desert was pudding in a drinking glass with a flower garnish. I expected way more for the price. Not a bargain and just not good. Plus had to pay 15 +tip to park just to dine. Nope... there is way better places to eat. Will not be back.
Took my husband for a pre fatherds day dinner, we loved it! He loved his dish, our waiter Jose was outstanding! Nice place especially the outside patio very nice!
Great service and delicious food
Classic LA Hotel dining. Quiet, good food, thoughtful and diverse menu. Excellent tastes all around...from the PEI Mussels to the Lamb Chops to the Roasted Asparagus and Mashed Potatoes. The Chopin Martini's were excellent as well.
Outdoor seating at night is romantic and energized by the DTLA skyscrapers on Bunker Hill.
Service was very good.
Very nice atmosphere and ambiance. I was not expecting to hear someone play the piano and it went great during our dinner. The menu was wonderful and the service was exceptional. Food came out fast and our server Jose was wonderful and attentive.
Ordered the filet medium. When it came out server stated that due to lighting it may appear to be more done . It appeared to be more on the well done side. I do not like to send food back but guess I should have. After I started eating the same server served filet and rib eye to 3 other tables, all send it back. What is wrong here? I will not come back. Server (female) appear to be in a hurry... dropped off appetizer, entrees etc and left...she did t seem to care
Decent food for the price. Good service. Ambiance was a little noisy for me. Good experience over all.
Our lamb chops were not seasoned enough -- really needed some salt the gentleman in our group had to get up from the table and ask a busboy for the condiments. That was
our one complaint; otherwise it was a pleasant experience.
Service was great. Our waitress kept checking up on us often. The filet was perfectly cooked as I asked for it to be medium. The glasses of wine were a bit pricey but overall a great experience.
Great food and service!! Wonderful restaurant.
