I've eaten at the Nobu in Las Vegas where I had the Nobu Signature (omakase style). That was an absolutely amazing experience. I believe that was around 10 courses. Expecting the same thing at the Nobu in Miami, I ordered the Nobu Signature for three of us in our party ($120/person). Sadly, there were only 7 small courses of standard menu items. The first course, an amuse-bouche of tartar in a wasabi base with caviar was simply amazing. My tastebuds jumped alive with this opening dish. The second course was a flavorful sashimi with a dry miso dusting. At this point, I was excited about the meal so far. The third course was a disappointingly standard selection of sushi (tuna, salmon, shrimp, some other fish, and egg). Not impressed. I was expecting at least one or two more sashimi courses before sushi. The forth course was a hot dish of black cod. Wait, what?!? That's it for the raw dishes?!? Umm, ok. Black cod was great. The fifth course was delicate beef tenderloin. Again, amazing flavor. The sixth course was miso soup, nothing special, just your typical miso soup. The seventh and final course was a dessert containing a coffee foam on ice cream and some sort of crunchy brittle. Honestly, I left feeling a bit let down and not quite satisfied. My expectations were high for this place. The food we had was delicious, but not worth the hefty price tag. It’s highly unlikely I would do that again.

Cost for this outing for Nobu Signature (x4), bottle of wine (x1), salad (x1), tempura (x1), miso soup (x1), prosecco (x1), cocktails (x4) = $755 (inc 18% tip).

We were expecting something special for a 25th anniversary celebration, given the price and Nobu’s reputation in NY. Service was fine. Food was not memorable. Seemed mass-produced and was so very overpriced. A real disappointment.

Nobu is my favorite restaurant. If there is ever a Nobu in the town I am visiting I will figure out how to get there. Our waiter was the best ever, he was super friendly and just the right amount of attentive. The food never, ever disappoints.

Nobu was very very good, I had always wanted to try it and I am glad I did. We had sashimi for the first time and it was amazing. We do not even eat sushi but we had to try it while we were at Nobu and I am glad we did. We loved all of it and will return for just a sushi night. We had the sea bass which was out of this world as well as the fish and chips and beef tenderloin. Everything was good.

Our waitress was very good and made great recommendations. The only part of service I did not like was the pick up of the finished dishes. It was too fast and at times we were not even finished. Just seemed like a game between them and it was very distracting. I appreciate the quick clean up but not when we are not finished the food yet.

First there was no indication in the hotel as to where the restaurant was.

We waited a verrrry long time for menus.
I had to ask 3 times for a menu.

The menu was hard to follow.

We waited an HOUR. For our meal.

The quality was extremely poor.

The salmon sushi was obviously from a salmon farm. It had literally no taste.

The rice ...THE MOST IMPORTANT part of sushi, was horrible. It wasn’t sticky it was loose and everything tasted off.

We complained about the poor food but still had to pay 400 dollars for 10 pieces of sushi.

We ate a few nights before at ZUMA and Zuma is far superior to NOBU.
I will never go back to any nobu ever.

It was my second time at a Nobu restaurant. The first was at the Las Vegas restaurant in 2013. Ordered the tasting menu in both visits. I was happy with the consistency of the quality of the dishes. Enjoyed my total experience.

My deceased father was a quadmate with Al Gore at Saint Albans in Washington D.C., and good ole Al made a movie about Global Warming, and happened to produce a sequel. To cut to the point, all life, through evolution, migrated to land from the water. No matter where, all life, meaning that atomic particles formed an evolved result where the combination of particles systemized life...kinda like a jump start or boost. All of a sudden, there was life, a system. The problem is, that if the ocean, where Nobu gets so many of the commodities placed on tables, is degraded, over and over, then, the very best offered will no longer be open in the niche of seafood sushi, and if we, as humanity, want to prolong and solidify, life, in the ocean and on land, because the two are actually one, we, as a species, must protect what gives us life. Now, as a restaruant service, staff needs to improve with smarter servers. The kitchen at Nobu, is of course, Nobu...the very best if not the best in the industry. Not only has the move from the old ShoreClub location improved with capacity, the diverseness has expanded to include worldwide influences in such a way that no mouth will walk from the table without saying "I'll be back!". But please, do what is possible, to recycle and reduce waste in the water, because if that is ignored, places like Nobu will have no source putting life on the table for us to consume.

Dissapointed. When I made the reservation, I made it clear I was celebrating my birthday. Usually, the staff has been very special in previous occasions, but this time around they were really stuck up. The waiter checked my ID, saw it was my birthday and didn't even have the courtesy to give me a happy birthday. He did not explain anything on the menu (it was the special world of nobu menu) and seemed as if he was trying to get us out of the restaurant fast. I don't think I'll be celebrating anything there anymore. We pay for the experience and did not get that "experience" at all.

We have traveled and eaten in outstanding restaurants all over the world. We were lucky to eat at both Nobu Malibu in October and Nobu Miami December 8 and we say that Nobu serves the most creative, beautiful and over the top delicious food we’ve ever eaten. If you have a chance to eat at Nobu, go there. It’s heavenly
