You pay for the name. Nothing special than an ordinary sushi restaurant
Outstanding! Food & Service was amazing!
Not worth it , noisy and bad service
Looks like a fast food
Food was not goo either for the price
Very nice and proffessianal service from waiter and more.
Was excellent except I ordered too much like always...
Our server Maria was simply terrific as was the food.
Hotspot to be seen...good food (high quality seafood), very good service, but outrageous mark-up on the winelist!?!?
I've eaten at the Nobu in Las Vegas where I had the Nobu Signature (omakase style). That was an absolutely amazing experience. I believe that was around 10 courses. Expecting the same thing at the Nobu in Miami, I ordered the Nobu Signature for three of us in our party ($120/person). Sadly, there were only 7 small courses of standard menu items. The first course, an amuse-bouche of tartar in a wasabi base with caviar was simply amazing. My tastebuds jumped alive with this opening dish. The second course was a flavorful sashimi with a dry miso dusting. At this point, I was excited about the meal so far. The third course was a disappointingly standard selection of sushi (tuna, salmon, shrimp, some other fish, and egg). Not impressed. I was expecting at least one or two more sashimi courses before sushi. The forth course was a hot dish of black cod. Wait, what?!? That's it for the raw dishes?!? Umm, ok. Black cod was great. The fifth course was delicate beef tenderloin. Again, amazing flavor. The sixth course was miso soup, nothing special, just your typical miso soup. The seventh and final course was a dessert containing a coffee foam on ice cream and some sort of crunchy brittle. Honestly, I left feeling a bit let down and not quite satisfied. My expectations were high for this place. The food we had was delicious, but not worth the hefty price tag. It’s highly unlikely I would do that again.
Cost for this outing for Nobu Signature (x4), bottle of wine (x1), salad (x1), tempura (x1), miso soup (x1), prosecco (x1), cocktails (x4) = $755 (inc 18% tip).
We were expecting something special for a 25th anniversary celebration, given the price and Nobu’s reputation in NY. Service was fine. Food was not memorable. Seemed mass-produced and was so very overpriced. A real disappointment.
Never disappointed !!! The best of the best in Miami! Nobu !!!
