Nobu Las Vegas - Hard Rock Hotel & Casino Ratings and Reviews
Good food, a little pricey. They ask you for a price point and then build a menu based around this but do then immediately encourage you to increase your stated price per person preference. Good space but behind us there was a family with drama and yelling going on for about 30 minutes and nobody intervened or tried to calm the situation, and unfortunately it did dramatically affect the overall ambiance and experience. Great service!
We have dined here before. This time we noticed that the restaurant was not as busy as it normally is...now we know why. We started with an order of Edemame and and order of Shishito peppers, both were very salty. We also got Miso soup which came to the table lukewarm. Usually the food at the Hard Rock location is very good but this time the sashimi & sushi rolls taste were very basic and lacked creativity like regular sushi from basic sushi restaurants. We were very dissapointed in the quality and taste of the fish/food and feel that is no longer worth going to.
Though the food is tasty, this is not the Nobu I know of from Honolulu to Crystal Cruise as the loud music really doesn't provide the atmosphere for more itimate conversation. This restaurant is more for younger crowd if you like rock music blasting all over.
Everything about this restaurant (except the service) was wretched. I’ve been to over 40 countries, eaten at Nobu in Tokyo and London (Old Park Lane) and this was possibly the worst oldest tasting sushi/sashimi I’ve ever had. Your music was way too loud and the decor was falling apart. Tell the chef he needs to go back to being a fry cook and leave gourmet meals to real chefs. God do I regret choosing your location over Ceasers. You need to have your Michelin Star pulled.
I opted for the signature omikase which was excellent.
There is an extensive list of Japanese whiskies but seems expensive but it is Vegas. I tried a bourbon barrel-aged which was excellent.
Arrived 6:15 pm. It was practically empty and quiet from the casino. 2 hrs later it was jam- packed with loud people having fun.
Definitely returning for food
I have dined at Nobu many times and this time we had a waiter that wanted to sell an experience and what he really sold us was an unnecessary $800 for 3 people that was not exactly the best food I have eaten there before. So people be ware of waiters that want to sell this experience and make sure they give you a food menu so you can inform the wait staff exactly what you want to order. I will never allow this to happen ever again.
The restaurant went out of their way to make our "Friendaversary" one to remember. A special thank you to Kian and Albert for making our night so special. The food was insane, Lychee martinis were wicked, and the Nobu attention to detail were second to none. We will certainly be back.
Staff was strange and very pushy to get you to order more and more food. Manager hovered over wait staff as we ordered our food and then was forcing staff to push more food on us to increase the bill. It was slightly annoying to be asked to order more items when we hadn't even received what we already ordered. Food was very good. But be prepared to be asked many times to spend more money.
We went here for our anniversary. We decided to do the tasting menu that the server tailored to fit our tastes. We did not know what would be coming as we left it up to them and this was a wonderful experience. We had salmon and yellow tail sashimi, rock shrimp with a jalapeño cream sauce, black cod, two varieties of sushi, and a crab dish before we had their Japanese style donuts for dessert. Everything was delicious here.
