Food was average. I've seen more interesting and tasty food at sushi places in Brooklyn, Queens and Staten Island. I thought this place was supposed to be amazing.. puzzled.. the oysters were good, which didn't seem listed on the menu.
Also, for the price paid, you'd think they keep the place in shape. Surprised the bench seat looked like a high traffic diner on the side of the road.
I had a lovely time! Great quality sushi. Wonderful customer service. My favorite sushi spot in the city.
Went for my birthday and we had the most delightful experience and the food OMG!!
What an experience. After a dinner and evening like that, it is easy to understand Nobu’s reputation and notoriety. The service was exceptional, from the greeting by the host to the mere serving of a drink. And the food... wow. The sushi, which was supposed to be the least impressive, was decadent. The quality of the fish was like no other, and the specialty dishes were exceptional. I cannot wait to go back!
I have eaten at Nobu 57 a few times. The food is very good and the service is excellent.
It is a bit noisy, but not more than many other restaurants. My biggest criticism is the enormously high price - astronomical. This is a fine restaurant, but very poor value overall. Portions are small and prices are high. I will go there for an occasional small meal but have to stop bringing large parties there, as I have done, as it is not affordable.
Great service and amazing food! Totally worth it, can’t wait to go back
Food excellent and service good.
Great dinner, as usual! Service and food always perfect.
Best place wow. If you have any dietary restrictions the waiter will help you order something off menu. For example, our server suggested king crab amanzu ponzu with tofu and it was delicious! We also got the rock shrimp tempura with white fish instead.
Excellent food, wonderful experience. Mother’s DayMenu was fantastic.
Wonderful service. Waiter offered great selections.
We haven’t been to Nobu in years and this was our first time at Nobu 57 uptown. It did not disappoint. The ambience was great and the drinks were fantastic and the food is as usual quite excellent and obviously not cheap. Our server was great. The only negative is that the portion sizes have gotten a little bit smaller over the years.if we are gonna pay $42 for a cod it should come with at least one included side dish like for example rice. But it’s New York City and if you’re going to spend a ton on dinner I can’t think of a better place to spend it.
Nobu is very expensive, but so well worth it! Everything was delicious, ambiance was great and the wait staff was terrific.
Great food and great service. We were able to order our favorite dishes that were not on the menu. Thank you!
Very good food and service!
Always a stellar experience—the food never ceases to amaze me and the vibes are great.
Great service; excellent food!
my favorite place !!!
Honestly. Way way overrated. Price wasn’t an issue, just disappointed with the food overall just wasn’t worth the money. I am a foodie and thought I would be WOW’d but nope. Save your money and go somewhere else.
Early Mother’s Day Celebration the wife.
Always amazing food there. I just didnt enjoy the outdoor facility. It'll be a problem in the summer when it is hot.
Server was polite and explained all our options. Wish he came back to ask if we wanted a second glass of wine or at least refill our water once. That's the only negative but we'd go back for sure
Nobody is easily one of the best seafood/sushi restaurants that we've ever been to. The food & service were superb.
Beautiful ambiance, quick service...would definitely recommend for families and group gatherings
The salmon skin roll is amazing
Awful experience. It used to be one of the favorites places. It was the first time after the pandemic but has nothing to what Nobu used to be. The food was very greasy, you could taste cheap oil everywhere whether it was fish, rice or vegetables. The miso black cod used to be amazing but the one from Fresh direct actually tastes much better. Very poor quality, the waitress was always absent so actually there wasn’t any service.
Only restaurant left from previous Nobu, the quality of food and service is gone.
Great meal at the sushi bar
I realize the government is ruining your opportunity to make money but the place needs some updating
We had a great time here. Ate ‘outside’ in the structure built that has tables set into individual rooms with windows. There’s also a heating system connected to the rooms which was appreciated as the evening got cooler. Food was delicious. Definitely want to go back to experience indoor dining here one day.
The food was excellent, but service was very slow. Our meal took 3 hours for 4 people, with waiting 15 minutes between courses. We ordered quickly, but the kitchen must have been overwhelmed. We went through the majority of our meal without seeing our server (but the bussers and other support staff were attentive and excellent).
Superb food ! And excellent service.
The new outdoor space a fabulous. Made for a perfect and safe family dinner while visiting New York. The meal was delicious from start to finish!!!
Food is merely pedestrian but the prices are much higher. What gives? Used to be my go to sushi in NYC. Now not even better than a b-
Food was delicious. Yellowtail jalapeño and the Kobe beef dumplings were phenomenal. Our server was on point. With his recommendations, though the food came out very rushed. Before you can finish one plate the second one is already arriving. Also, the glasses had a smell to them, which you usually get when your dishwasher isn’t maintained/cleaned properly (something you won’t expect from a high end restaurant).
Colette Wong was our server. She was amazing. Really incredible. She is extremely knowledgeable, yet fun and we just loved being with her for our dinner at Nobu. Her recommendations were spot on. Thank you Colette!
Went there for my birthday and had an amazing time!
