We always enjoyed lunch or dinner at Nobu 57. Excellent and courteous service. This time we had lunch. The signature lunch is highly recommended.
consistently great -went with 2 girlfriends and didn’t feel rushed.
Felt bad for the staff because they just learned it would be the last night of j door dining, for awhile
Food was delicious , great cocktails and the whiskey cappuccino dessert was amazing! Great service ! We just loved the experience!
Collete was our waitress. She was wonderful and I was even more impressed that we could easily understand her through the mask which is obviously the current rule in NYC. My wife and I will definitely return and request her service.
the food quality is not as good as expected, the price is too much for the quality of the food
Excellent service.
Fish was very fresh.
Every dish was very good.
Birthday dinner
Fantastic restaurant. Food was amazing!! Absolutely worth the price. Can't wait to revisit soon !
Birthday!
It was a great service with the dessert and candle option over the phone.
Loved it! Food is fantastic!
Great as always
The food was simply out of this world. There really are no words to properly describe how delicious everything at Nobu is...so I’ll just stop typing... :)
A bit expensive but service was top notch! Highly recommend
Great service Friendly staff
Great experience. Always happy with Nobu.
I just don't understand what people like about this place. Admitted the ambience is nice and the service was good. However the food is really mediocre and it is very overpriced even for manhatten.
Great food with top notch quality fish. Terrific outdoor dining set up. Service friendly
The yellowtail was amazing.
The dumplings were awesome
Great lunch always great.. went with classic bento box. Always a great choice and not too much.
Top notch food and service as usual. Did everything they could to make outdoor downing in 30 degree weather as pleasurable as possible!
Food quality was not very good. $600 Dinner for two, I expect better quality food. Cocktails were not good, except for the espresso martinis to end the night.
Great food , even through a pandemic I felt safe and enjoyed a lovely meal
Nobu has done a beautiful job all around with outdoor dining. Our meal was excellent. Service excellent. Ambiance excellent. A wonderful evening with friends during a very difficult time for New York City.
Restaurant like this need all of our help!!
Our hostess was aloof when asking about seating. She clearly didn’t want to be at work.
Our server had the poorest attitude of being bothered. My foreign colleague wanted to leave soon after he arrived but, I assured him that Nobu has standards and it would get better—-it did not.
I’m a New Yorker and used to be a regular, I will not return. It was a cold feeling and unwelcoming, very disappointing to have a $400 bill and leave to eat elsewhere where people smiled and were genuinely happy and appreciative of our patronage. We have a choice during these tough times and we don’t have to choose Nobu57. Not now, nor after the pandemic.
Couldn't find our reservation, told us to stand aside
took forever to get us seated
asked the waitress for a hot Hojicha, and the server said we don't have Hojicha, despite the fact that Hojicha is on the menu
Terrible experience
We were very impressed with Nobu’s adaptation during this pandemic. We felt very safe and the food has never been so good!
High standards yield high results. Since it’s inception, Nobu downtown and then Nobu57 always exceed my expectations.
Amazing delicious food all is good
Too much light and noise from the street
We had one dish with hair
One dish with bug
No one apologies and no one take care of us
And we are eating in restaurants twice a week and it’s never happened to us
Reservation was for 9:00, didn’t get inside till 9:40, told us there were no tables available and we could sit at the sushi bar. Didn’t make it to an actual table till 10.
The everything (food, service, ambiance) was just okay. Definitely not worth the $450 we spent.
This was a bday celebration for my girlfriend. Overall, I was pretty happy with the experience.
Loved the miso lamb chop but a little pricey at $24/chop
Toro tartare with caviar was unimpressive and pricey at $50 for 3" diameter
Enjoyed the scallop and smelt egg rolls hand roll
BENTO BOX of Valrhona Dark Chocolate Fondant (this was a lava cake) and Imperial Matcha Gelato was good but not great.
note: they forgot bday candle though they asked when reservation was made. Also, patrons were very casually dressed. Even saw a couple of folk in hoodies
Personal special occasion
Food was standard, not exciting. The rice used to make rolls was a bit soggy. Service was very good, however. Overall, there are better places for quality Japanese food.
My husband and I live in the neighborhood so we're regulars even though we mostly walk-in without reservations and have a drink while we wait for an available table. Either way we can always count on the food, service and ambiance to be exceptional. Our favorite place to dine at in NYC.
Great staff, they always make us feel special
Always one of our top sushi choices in nyc
Great service. Tables well spaced.
If you are willing to spend the money the food never disappoints and absolutely every attention to safety at this time , on behalf of the staff and the clients, exceeds every expectation.
Lovely and delicious meal especially considering that we were sitting outside and it was about 40 degrees and breezy. The service was excellent. They could benefit from a few more heat lamps because the more secluded tables are a little chilly. But otherwise quite a wonderful evening during a pandemic. Still one of our favorite places.
