Last night if NYC vacation. Perfect in every way. Our server led us through the menu. Did not over order. Super experience
Order the dishes Nobu is known for, but you really can’t go wrong choosing anything on the menu.
Delicious food as always, our favorite restaurant! Also felt very safe and observed lots of safety protocols! Well done!
Never a bad option!
We’ve had better service from our server before
He Didn’t focus too much on our able
Nobu 57 never disappoints. Whether you go for the classics, or step out and try something new, the quality is top shelf and delicious. The service team is friendly and well versed in the menu. Everyone around you is always having a good time and it's hard not to.
Always love my time at Nobu! The food is always fantastic and great vibe.
The food and service were impeccable as always. We chose to eat indoors and I was surprised at how closely the tables were crammed in together, given the times we are in. There were 2 of us and we sat in a cozy corner, but less than six feet from a table of 8. And the whole restaurant was soooooooo loud. Not how I remember it from pre pandemic times.
Came here for a business meeting. Very busy on a Tuesday night. Place was packed by 6:30pm on a Tuesday night. Ordered sushi and sushi tacos. Very delicious.
One word to describe it all. AMAZING!
Staff was incredibly helpful with the execution of my daughter’s 16th bday dinner. Food was delicious! Thank you!
The great food and services
Was here for my partners birthday and the service was exceptional, as always. Our waiter was incredible, and we let him choose our dishes . Each one was better than the last. At the end, they brought my partner a special dessert with a birthday message, which made him so happy. From Malibu to NYC, there is not better service in the industry.
The food was amazing and so was the service. A real dining experience.
Food is just mediocre. They don’t plate the sushi very well either.
Do not come here if you hope to have a conversation over dinner. Nobu could not control a table of about nine teenage girls who were screaming across their table while their mother or guardian sat in a separate quiet area. The girls essentially ruined our dining experience as well as those of people sitting nearby. The manager took two dishes off our bill, as he did for the people sitting next to us. But that did not change the fact that this was one of the most horrible restaurant experiences I have ever had in New York over the past 20 years. Additionally, none of the restaurant staff could tell us if the teenage girls had shown their proof of vaccination as is required by the city of New York.
Always a great meal at Nobu 57, definitely worth the splurge!
Perfect start to finish. Perfectly executed dishes. Impeccable professional courteous service. It’s been around a long time but it has not diminished quality at all. Really a perfect dining experience. Worth every penny.
The food is very good, the quality of fish is well observed
Súper todo Excelente lugar y excelente comida
Don’t forget to eat the greens under the amazing rock shrimp….the dressing is delicious, an unexpected treat!
Everything was delicious, but the crab dish was exceptionally good.
The bussser/runner was amazing
Fantastic food good service and especially choice for vegetarian food amazing
Atmosphere not conducive to relaxing dinner. Service a bit rushed. Decor needs updated. Better lunch spot than dinner.
The best sushi
Told to order as a family/Japanese style and order sushi at the end of meal! When we went to order the remainder of our meal the kitchen was closed. We were not given any notice that we were not going to be able to complete our order! The amount of food served family style was not sufficient for the 5 people dining. Everyone walked away hungry for a bill that was over a $1000. Service sporadic, and noise level so high you could not hear anyone at your own table. No wonder they lost the Michelin start! Too many place in NYC with great food and service that there is no need to return yo Nobu!!!
Very nice lunch because for once we had a charming and professional waitress who was of excellent advice and she was charming Miss Pea ! She should run the place
I agree with a friend who had also dined there recently - it's gotten a bit tired. Great service, but the food doesn't stand out from other sushi restaurants like it used to and the decor feels dated.
Excellent food and Excellent service
Good and drinks were excellent but the service was slow at the beginning with the waitress. After the food came out fast
Wow, every single item we tried on the menu was amazing! Beautiful ambiance, great service as well. The perfect place for either a date night or group dinner! My favorite dishes were the Sea bass, Black Cod, Truffle Ribeye, and the donuts for dessert. 10/10 will definitely be back!
Great place to celebrate a great friends birthday! Wait staff was amazing and made some great food recommendations. Music was a little loud and seemed like the same continuous beat. Overall great experience
Outdoor seating was a bit noisy, so we asked to move inside. Decor was warm and comforting. Tables are well separated; forgot I was in NYC.
Cocktails were impeccable: Sidecar with an Asian take, and a perfectly executed classic Old Fashioned. Served with a single giant ice cube to chill without diluting.
Edamame with choclo (large-kernel starchy Peruvian corn, a bit like hominy) was a standout, and reflected chef Nobu’s penchant for blending Japanese with flavors acquired during his stay in Peru.
Fried rice cubes on toothpicks, we were instructed, were to be dipped in soy sauce and then to have the avocado dip spooned on. Instructions were a success.
The spicy lemon dressing on the shiitake salad made you eager to eat your greens.
Priscilla’s sea bass was perfectly cooked and buttery. My sashimi assortment was as fresh and perfect as any I’ve had.
Not sure exactly what’s in soy caramel, but it would be as good on pancakes as it was on the cinnamon sugar doughnuts with vanilla gelato.
Nothing better for a reunion than a family style meal! We tried a lot on the menu, and the stand outs by far were the yellowtail sashimi, dumplings and wagyu tacos.
Will definitely be back!
Service was attentive, disappointed with overall quality of food . Skin on signature miso cod was rubbery, inedible. When I asked our server, response I received was that is how dish is prepared. Yellowtail/jalapeño was drowning in sauce/dressing. Crispy rice spicy tuna and sushi selection were good.
For the price, it should be at the level of the best sushi in NYC. It isn't. Impersonal service. Atmosphere is undifferentiated. At 35% lower price, it would all be fine but at a premium, I expected a lot more.
