As the first uptown New York location for legendary chef Nobu Matsuhisa, we opened with much anticipation in the summer of 2005.Nobu's co-owners are his longtime partners: renowned restaurateur Drew Nieporent, Oscar-winning actor Robert De Niro, and Hollywood film producer Meir Teper. The restaurant showcases Nobu's signature new style Japanese cuisine with classic dishes such as Tiradito Nobu Style and Black Cod Miso. The restaurant received three stars from the New York Times.

Enjoy our special Brunch Prix Fixe Menu featuring a zensai, family-style dishes, a choice of main course, and dessert for $95 per person. A kid’s bento is also available for $38, and our à la carte menu will be offered as well. Brunch is served from 11:45 AM to 2:30 PM. To make the day even more special, pre-order our Pastry Chef’s hand-painted Sesame-Kinako Crunch Bar, beautifully wrapped and ready to gift for $22.

Me and my fiance had a great fine dining experience here. She absolutely loved it and the food was so phenomenal. Everything down to the ambience, the food and the service was all great. If you find yourself at fifty seventh street and got a little extra cash, this is the place to stop.

While eating one of the entrees, my husband discovered a wire in the dish, which he pulled out of his mouth! We let our server know. A manager came over and was very defensive. No real apology, and the manager did not offer any sort of compensation or replacement of the dish. Never again, Nobu. Bad move. You screwed up my birthday dinner, and we had been to Nobu many, many times before. Wow.

Lovely as always. I wish there was more room at the bar to have a cocktail while you wait but the staff was all lovely and the food was incredible.
