As the first uptown New York location for legendary chef Nobu Matsuhisa, we opened with much anticipation in the summer of 2005.Nobu's co-owners are his longtime partners: renowned restaurateur Drew Nieporent, Oscar-winning actor Robert De Niro, and Hollywood film producer Meir Teper. The restaurant showcases Nobu's signature new style Japanese cuisine with classic dishes such as Tiradito Nobu Style and Black Cod Miso. The restaurant received three stars from the New York Times.

Celebrate Mother's Day with an elevated brunch experience at Nobu Fifty Seven. Enjoy our special Brunch Prix Fixe Menu featuring a zensai, family-style dishes, a choice of main course, and dessert for $95 per person. A kid’s bento is also available for $38, and our à la carte menu will be offered as well. Brunch is served from 11:45 AM to 2:30 PM. To make the day even more special, pre-order our Pastry Chef’s hand-painted Sesame-Kinako Crunch Bar, beautifully wrapped and ready to gift for $22.

Been to Nobu at several locations in US and Internationally. I like that they have certain staples on each menu that you can count on — eggplant miso, crispy rice with spicy tuna, and of course a selection of sashimi & nigiri. The two-floor restaurant on 57th in an energetic part of Midtown was fully packed and the tables in the main dining area were very close together. However, the booths and 2 person tables around the perimeter were nicely spaced. Service was quick and the staff were all friendly and pleasant despite being very busy. The strict table seating time didn’t feel rushed or pressured. Overall great experience!

All the food was so delicious and the server was so kind. Both lunch bento menu were so great for $68 and 85. The wagyu tasted real tender and juicy. My husand had his 60's birthday and as a surprise gift I ordered a slice of strawberry cake in advance. They decorated the small cake real beautifully. We all had a great time!!! Two thumbs up! Strongly recommend Nobu 57!

Me and my fiance had a great fine dining experience here. She absolutely loved it and the food was so phenomenal. Everything down to the ambience, the food and the service was all great. If you find yourself at fifty seventh street and got a little extra cash, this is the place to stop.
