多くの期待に応える形で2005年の夏にオープンしたNobu Fifty Sevenは、伝説のシェフ、松久信幸の最初のニューヨーク・アップタウンのレストランです。ノブの共同所有者は、彼の長年のパートナーである、有名なレストランタのドリュー・ニウポレント、オスカー受賞俳優のロバート・デ・ニーロ、ハリウッドの映画プロデューサーのマイアー・テパーです。レストランでは、ティラディート・ノブスタイル、ブラックコッド・ミソ、火鉢テーブルなどの古典的な料理とともに、新しいスタイルのノブの代表的な日本料理を紹介しています。ニューヨーク・タイムズの3つ星を獲得したレストランです。 Nobu Fifty Sevenはデビッド・ロックウェルによるデザインで、アジアを流れる川の姿や流動性を連想させます。アワビの貝殻のシャンデリア、テラゾータイルとスライスした竹材、焦げた灰のテーブル、日本のキルト生地などを採用した曲線と細部にこだわったインテリアです。日本から輸入された酒の樽が1階のバーカウンター越しにそびえ立ち、ゲストを2階のダイニングルームへ導きます。光沢のある木材、豊かな色合い、穏やかな照明が優雅さと洗練された雰囲気を演出しています。

    Celebrate Mother's Day with an elevated brunch experience at Nobu Fifty Seven. Enjoy our special Brunch Prix Fixe Menu featuring a zensai, family-style dishes, a choice of main course, and dessert for $95 per person. A kid’s bento is also available for $38, and our à la carte menu will be offered as well. Brunch is served from 11:45 AM to 2:30 PM. To make the day even more special, pre-order our Pastry Chef’s hand-painted Sesame-Kinako Crunch Bar, beautifully wrapped and ready to gift for $22.

    Overall as it is at every Nobu location, the food was amazing. The service here compared to the downtown location is ridiculous.

    Had the Omakase again. It wasn’t as good as the last couple of times but still is excellent. The reason for giving only four stars is that it just wasn’t up to par. Overall, though it was a very nice dinner. also, the elevator is broken and I had to go ahead and use the stairs, which is very difficult for me as I use a cane and have a very bad leg.

    Service à désirer. Les serveurs ne prennent aucune considération que nous sommes pas de langue anglaise...ils parlent trop vite on ne comprends rien. Service beaucoup trop rapide, les plats s'enchaînent...Service du vin sans aucun égard. On nous sert la 2eme bouteille sans la faire goûter alors même que la remarque fut faite. Bref, dommage car on a l'impression que plus vite servis plus vite partis...

    Excellent food. Deon was a great server and had fantastic recommendations. We'll be back again. We loved everything Deon recommended and especially the Yellowtail & Jalepeno sashimi and the Black Cod Miso hot dish. Another specialty we loved was the Wagyu Dumplings and the Crispy Rice with Spicy Tuna.

    Too pricy for very simple and not very tasty japanese food!!! Not recommended if you really like sophisticated japanese food.
