Nobu Fifty Seven
Designed by David Rockwell, Nobu Fifty Seven evokes fluidity and the imagery of an Asian river with curves and details of abalone shell chandeliers, sliced bamboo stalks in terrazzo tiles, scorched ash tables and Japanese quilt fabric. Sake barrels imported from Japan tower over the first floor bar counter as diners make way to the upstairs dining room. Burnished woods, rich hues and soft lighting create an ambiance of elegance and refinement.

Great location and amazing food and service, had an excellent business lunch!
FOOD was great. Staff was pleasant and courteous as it was our first time having Japanese food. Ask for regular forks if you cant use chop sticks and your good
Would visit every time I am in New York. Great food, great service, overall fantastic experience.
My daughters birthday
By far, one of my favorite places. They made me the BEST cucumber martini ever. Can’t wait to return to NYC, specifically for Nobu.
Third time at Nobu first time at 57 location. So beautiful and great service. Food is amazing as always
The Seafood was somewhat undercooked!😅😀😃😄😂☺😉
Great atmosphere, amazing service and even better food. Best spot in NYC
We went to Nobu with a lot of expectations, but the food was not so good, the prices are very expensive and nothing so wow.
Server was extremely pushy. We felt rushed through the entire meal and it was quite stressful with how she treated us as we dined. Very unfriendly and made us feel like we were not welcome there.
The sushi was not fresh. Maybe day after holiday you served us leftovers?
Waiters were polite and everything went well, but we always had to ask more water or more wine. No one came to ask if we needed more, even our glasses were empty. And by the time we got more wine we had already finished the course.
So we didn’t feel like we were taken care of the way you are supposed to feel in this kind of restaurant.
And if there would have been even little bit of selling or even recommending anything it would have made our experience easier.
No one asked if the food was good and actually crispy softshell crab was burnt, but we didn’t have a change to tell a waiter and we were hungry so we eat it, even tho it was not good.
Our first course that came really fast was a wrong dish, we told this immediately but the right dish came 3 courses later and we would have wanted to start with that one.
But food was good if softshell crab won’t be count in.
Nothing special. Used to be better. Would rather go somewhere else.
Nobu is still just as delicious as it has always been.
Amazing, as always. Thank you.
Fantastic! Our waiter gave us suggestions of popular dishes from the menu and helped us in trying new things. All the dishes were delicious and I can’t wait to go back for another special occasion.
Portion size was incredibly small, beyond the norm
I thought that the staff were overwhelmed. Otherwise super restaurant.
Excellent menu. Be adventurous. This is the place to do it.
The best sushi Iv ever had hands down
Great food and service. Servers are very knowledgeable in the food and drinks.
Food great!. Service just ok for the premium prices. But we liked it!!!
The food was great and the service great but very very expensive.
We had an amazing lunch. The Nobu lunch includes a nice selection of sushi and a selection of hot item
S. I highly recommend Nobu for a special lunch!
Food and service were top notch. They were extremely accommodating with dietary restrictions and our waiter was so warm and helpful. Great for a special occasion. Will be going back!!
Absolutely incredible !!! Came here for Valentine’s day and it was set out so beautiful with the rose petals on the table!
The lobster truffle is a must! Loved every bite of it!
It was super busy, food took forever to come and they provided a poor service. I wouldn't reccomend it at all.
No idea why anyone would rate this less than five stars. We happened to have dined there on Valentine's day, which is when most restaurants are not best judged in my mind. We all had the omakase menu and it each item was gorgeous in presentation and taste, and the taste was differentiated well in each item. Beautiful! Service was attentive. There were probably a dozen sushi chef's working away at the counter. The one downside was the cost, it was not inexpensive. Previously we had dined at Nobu in Japan and we all thought that Nobu on 57th was as special an experience in the US as it was in Japan.
Food was amazing!!
Another amazing lunch at NoBu, food was fantastic as was the service.
Always a favorite spot to meet business friends and colleges
Our server was Carlo. He was very attentive and knowledgeable! We came all the way from Chicago just for Nobu. He really took a good care of us and made my husband’s birthday special. We will definitely coming back again!
Great service great atmosphere
Might be my favorite out of all the places we ate. It was so so so very wonderful. Great food. Great service. Great cocktails. I will most definitely visit this restaurant again and again! I just LOVE it!!!
