Nobu - Fairmont Monte Carlo
Recognized worldwide for his amazing cuisine, mixing traditional Japanese dishes and South American spices and aromas, he says: “For me, cooking is most about giving my customers little surprises that will lead them to make discoveries about their own latent tastes. It’s about communicating my kokoro through every single dish I make”.
In a new elegant and cosy atmosphere featuring a magnificent bar, 2 exclusive private lounges and a unique terrace overlooking the Mediterranean Sea, a dinner at Nobu Fairmont Monte Carlo is an everlasting memory…
We love the food and the service - we are Swiss but use any opportunity to visit Nobu - 6 times this year in Monaco (4), New York (1) and London (1)........... Just good. Ariane & Michael
Poor service, waiter was rude. Food average compared to other nobu restaurants. Yellowtail collar was a massive portion size, waiter could have advised us better when ordering as we did ask for help
Amazing dinner: the quality of the food and service is on the top of your expectations. The best of Nobu restaurants I’ve been so far along with Nobu in NYC. To repeat!
Great restaurant but the construction if the land extension right in-front in the sea means a view and sound of heavy machinery.
Amazing service.....great food. I think this is the best Nobu we’ve been to.... thank you for the great experience!
Quite an uninteresting wine list. Food, cocktails and service did not really reach Nobu standards. We are used to first class dining in Nobu NY, Dubai and Milan.
Beautiful dining room and location.
Fabulous restaurant, we had a wonderful girl serving us all night and she was just excellent. Food and drinks were brilliant, ever so slightly over priced but still very good. We only wish the lobster tacos were a touch bigger as we could have eaten those all night.
Everything was fantastic- food, service, quality, drinks. Staff was well trained and attentive. My only complaint was after my meal I used the restroom and none of the individual stalls had soap in the dispensers. I checked all 4. Beautiful hand towels but no soap. And this is a shared mens and women’s bathroom. 2 dispensers were completely removed from the wall all together and the other two, while attached, were empty. Where does the staff wash their hands? I can only imagine the contamination (and am only writing this after not getting sick). This must be a Monaco thing becuase 3 of the 4 restrooms Ive used today also didnt have soap- Fairmont Hotel lobby, Le Meridien Hotel lobby and pool.
Ask to be seated on the Patio it is absolutely breathtaking. Service was phenomenal. They were out of the Wine we were interested in and before we could choose another bottle the Manager had gone to the restaurant next door to get a bottle for us. All servers worked seamlessly as a team to ensure all customers had an incredible dining and customer service experience. Definitely order the Salmon Sashimi plate!
The food and ambiance is really great. The staff was very polite and welcoming. We had the vegetarian omakase menu and it was really good.
I whole heartedly recommend the restaurant.
The service was very slow , the waiter forgot our requests several times . We ordered starters firstthan the mains howevever the wiater mixed it up! The tables outside are to close to each other however the food is good but way too pricy. The view is amazing , hostesses are lovely and the atmosphere is vey posh and cool!
Was so lovely! We even met Mr. Nobu himself! Gorgeous views of the sunset! Not the best of the Nobus but still beautiful and a great people watching scene.
The meal was beautiful as were the drinks. Our waitress made our visit. She was brilliant with her recommendations and her general aura was so lovely. The meal was pricey however it was worth every penny. Loved it.
Top notch fish, service and ambiance. Highly recommend and I’m a spoiled NYC snob :)
Expensive for small portions. Good food, but don’t come hungry.
We had the best experience at Nobu! It was one of our highlights in Monaco. From the person who served us behind the bar to our waiter Mikhel, the service was perfect! The mango cocktail and the 5 course Omakase meal were delicious. I wish we could eat the chocolate bento box every night.
Nothing like the other Nobu Restaurants. The flavours and the quality is bad !
One of our favourite restaurants in Monaco. Great service, food and atmosphere makes for a winning combination.
I remember the food being so much better before. But for starters let me address the seating arrangement for our dinner. I made a reservation a month in advance, requested a table by the window. Didn’t get it. We were offered a table in the bar area. For that I needed to reserve a month in advance...??
And the food was really not as we remember it to be before.
Great food as always !! We were there for my birthday dinner and each of us received a nice little box of chocolates !
Ristorante stupendo, personale qualificato e curato tutto nei minimi dettagli.
Andrea fue un gran mesero, muy amable y buenS recomendaciones.
Super Service , sehr aufmerksam
Wein sehr lecker
OUr visit to Nobu was great! The food was excellent, I might not order so many rolls due to simplicity of them. But everything else on menu was great! Atmosphere and view - fantastic! Along with service!
We had a very nice waiter! The restaurant itself is not very beautiful but the food is great!
Wonderful service, delicious food and drinks and an amazing view!
Parfait. Quelle vue. Service au top. Tout etais super.
The restaurant has the feel of an upmarket canteen so nothing special about the look and feel. The food quality was excellent but the service was a little rushed and as customers we didn’t feel listened to (service a tad pushy). I was expecting a more refined dining experience. However, elements of the meals were beautiful though one or two things lacked imagination and one combination was very disappointing. A mixed experience overall. The bar area also had the feel of a pick up joint which also tarnishes any establishment.
Had such an amazing time celebrating my husbands 40th Birthday at the wonderful NOBU... food was outstanding & service was exceptional, our waiter was brilliant as he advised what we should order as we hadn’t been before, we were more than happy with our choices & they even made a fuss of my husband as it was his special birthday. Highly recommend a visit when in Monte Carlo, we will definitely be returning when we go back ..5*
Nobu was offering a celebratory menu for their anniversary and I wish they had considered what they were serving. While the menu was only €55, that is the only redeeming quality. The first course was good, but that was the end of anything positive. The second course of sushi included a piece of salmon, tuna, and 3 cucumber roll pieces. I did not expect to be eating the most basic forms of sushi at nobu. They were fine, but they lack any complexity. The beef main was again simplistic and did not show any creativity or complexity in flavor. The service was fine but definitely not outstanding.
Amazing restaurant, food and service. My best restaurant in Monaco
We had the Omikase for 4, the sushi was average, fusion dishes were better and the dessert was not good...I expect a little more wow for $600 not including drinks. Service was great...
Superb service, outstanding food, interesting setting in a shopping mall.
Fantastic meal, setting and service from Emmanuel. Couldn’t fault it at all. Very good
Always a big fan of Nobu and their sister restaurants Matsuhisa, food is always good and the service excellent. Pricing is a little heavy especially when I have visited Japanese restaurants equally good and half the price.
If you don't have time to read lots of reviews or visit multiple restaurants then Nobu is always good as the food is consistently good and you know you will have a good meal.
I give them credit for the ambient and service plus the view ..
The main reason for the poor ranking was the service. We have traveled many times to France, and since we speak a bit of french, the french people have normally been quite nice. This night was different. The server was not so much rude, as impatient. She assured us the filet under her style of cooking, meat on a hot iron plate, was the same filet I received with teriyaki. My wife's meal was inedible. Not only was it a poor cut, too tough to chew, but not nearly a true filet. It also came 20 minutes before mine. So we got to watch each other eat. Her response was that people sometimes share the meal my wife ordered. A-we never said anything about sharing. In fact, it was clearly her meal. B-How do we know what others do.
C-if you know we have not eaten there before, maybe an explanation. My meal was fine, but not exceptional. I'd stay away from this place.
First time we have visited a Nobu restaurant and the experience was one that was pleasant waiter service was excellent, our waiter explained the menu in detail. Food was delicious definitely an lovely experience and a restaurant I would return too.
