Nobu Dallas Ratings and Reviews
WE HAD A GREAT DINNER, ALL OF US HAD THE 'EXCLUSIVE'
THE FOOD REALLY STOOD TO ITS MENU NAME...EXCLUSIVE.
REALLY DELICIOUS AND WE CAME CAME FROM THE DINNER FEELING NICLY SATISFIED AFTER 7 COURSES.
A GREAT BOTTLE OF SAKE, THAT WE WERE SURPRISED ON HOW MUCH WE DRANK CONSIDERING THE SIZE OF BOTTLE... ALL OF US FELT REALLY GOOD TOO, VERY IMPORTANT...
I really wanted to like this meal - after all, it was New Years Eve AND my anniversary dinner with my wife. But unfortunately, it was very inconsistent. There were some brilliant flavors, but the service was poor and some of the sushi still had bones, and frankly, some of the dishes just weren’t good.
When the staff complains to guests about long hours (on NYE, no less) and the food is sub-par, it calls into question this ICONIC chain’s reputation.
The meal certainly wasn’t worth the $500 price tag, and since the dining room was at least 1/3 empty, I must not be the only person that thinks so.
Nobu is consistently a wonderful dining experience! We enjoy sampling the chef’s specials and have never been disappointed by his selections. We also love the crispy rice tuna, the rock shrimp and the spinach salad which is so good and not something I would normally think to order at a sushi restaurant. The nigiri is always fresh and beautifully presented and the wagyu beef truly melts in your mouth. We’ve taken quite a few guests to Nobu and everyone has been wowed by the food and the overall experience!
We partook in The Chef's Choice. It was Amazing!! Delicious, attractively served, variety of components, taste delicate to spicy, but everything crestively presented with healthy ingredients. We have been to Nobu's many times. We are continually impressed and will continue to return. Service was excellent.
The food was good, not great and the service was horrible. We ordered the omakase (150 pp) and we waited 30 to 40 min between courses. Generally over priced for what you get. Best bet would be to try one of the other well known sushi bars / Japanese restaurants in the area.
This was one of the best dining experiences i have ever had. The interior is beautifully decorated. The food was phenomenal and the wait staff superb. They answered all are questions patiently and were very attentative. Perfect ending to our son’s graduation celebration.
Everything was fabulous. Really the only thing I would have wished was clearer was the chef's special tasting (which was fabulous). the dining experience was explained as "family style sharing". So when I ordered the $150 chefs tasting, I was expecting $150 - not $300 for both. A little sticker surprise at the end, but I would do it again but just order one. Eight courses for two women was a little too much as we were both stuffed after course 5. The green tea chocolate dessert was fabulous and the Spanish mackerel was out of this world. Live and learn. Would recommend for sure. Just will share one the next time.
We went for our anniversary and decided to do the Chef's tasting menu. Best decision ever! 8 courses served, each one unique, beautiful and delicious. The service was excellent and all the waitstaff were extremely professional and attentive. They also treated us to a complimentary dessert. Highly recommended!
This is our go to place when we want a great meal. We have tried a large number of the menu items and have never been disappointed. The food is always fresh and the preparation is always immaculate. The servers know the menu and can be counted to make great recommendations. Some may consider it pricey but to us it is worth every penny. Love Nobu!
Our first time to Nobu Dallas. Have previously eaten at Nobu LA and Malibu. We ate sushi and sashimi plus a couple of the specials and enjoyed all the dishes we tried. The special tempura shrimp were really good.
Wine list was reasonable given the venue.
Service was excellent.
Would go again.
This was our first visit to Nobu and it exceeded our expectations in every way.
The atmosphere was elegant while the food impressed with every course. The highlight of the evening was our server Vickie who guided us through each course of delicious seafood with flair.
We look forward to our next visit.
Amazing food, quality, prices and service. I traveled to Dallas for the weekend and made a reservation a week in advanced with no issues. This place had a great service and amazing food! Definitely will come back. Fancy, high quality and great tasting culinary art.
