The service and ambiance were remarkable. We had the spicy edamame which was amazing and crab. Had the nationwide nobu award winning cocktail and it was so amazing. There was egg white in it so it was frothy and delicious
The menu needed more descriptions. The waiter did his best to describe them, but it was still not very clear. Overall it was a wonderful time.
Nobu never disappoints! It's 5 star sushi and service and yea the ambience! Doesn't matter if it is Nobu Dallas or Nobu London or Matsuhisa Aspen... 5 star sushi!
Wonderful food & drinks. Sexy restaurant.
The food was wonderful and inventive. Our server was knowledgeable and gave smart recommendations.
This is our go-to restaurant for all our family milestones!
Very nice experience! We’re new to DFW and try a different place each Saturday and we were not disappointed! We had the off menu beef Wagyu and the truffle king crab leg and some sushi rolls with appetizers ! Well worth it . The setting was awesome our waiter was great and full of recommendations. Would return again.
You’ll want to keep going back. Great evening and always a great experience
Birthday dinner was great . Super food , peaceful ambiance. Will definitely return
Vicky is incredible. Chef Guccci's red snapper dish is absolutely flawless!
Dallas Nobu is not NY Nobu, nor LA/Malibu/Vegas, etc. Not sure if it ever was, my first time at this location, but some of the standard plates and cocktails I get were almost returned- we didn’t even eat one item.. a $30 appetizer. Waiter was kind but didn’t know much and was reading from a script. Decor on patio tacky, behind a curtain the waiters were loudly discussing a romance between other waiters.. hilarious. I’ll take my $250 meals at Uchi from now on.
Service can be much more refined, from greeting, seating, attention and many small details
Could be much cordial and pleasing
Staff not adequately knowledgeable to inquire tastes or suggest popular/chef’s choices or walk thru details of items or meal courses
Best fit for small groups , not ideal accommodation for large group
Certainly needs some serious attention to retain the brand value
Beautiful atmosphere offering premium dishes. If your a meat person can’t go wrong with the A5wagyu!
Nobu was good, but for sushi, i much prefer uchi!
It was great
I unfortunately decided to take my fiancé to Nobu for her birthday, the service was lacking and food was unremarkable. Her steak was smothered in a sauce that overwhelmed the dish and frankly didn’t taste good and my dish was quite bland.
Very disappointed and walked away sad that a place that is highly coveted in California is so lackluster in Texas.
Waiter was terrible, unable to read the needs of the patrons, Food was bland, very unlike this restaurant
Very nice and quiet ambient environment. The waiter was very friendly and attentive to our needs. He had a good amount of knowledge about Nobu and it’s food, you can tell he was good at his job. The food was amazing, high quality, great taste, served fresh and without too much wait. I would definitely love to visit again one day.
We had a great time. The Premier tasting menu was fantastic! Highly recommended!
Worth more than 5 stars!! Try the tempura truffle sea bass !
We sat at the bar, told Joe what we were interested in and he rolled out an amazing experience!
The food and atmosphere was absolutely phenomenal. We had a wonderful time!
So ridiculously good. The food has to be the best in Dallas. Atmosphere and service complete the experience to make it an overall pleasure to dine here.
excellent experience in all aspects
creative, nice presentation, delicious, and service spot on
good place and good service
Great place for socializing with great food
My husband and I decided to let the server decide what we ate. He brought us great dishes and we loved every bite of every dish. And the service was fantastic too!
5 stars are not enough when it comes to the food at Nobu. The chef’s tasting menu is extraordinary.
Outstanding!! This was our first time at Nobu Dallas. It definitely didn’t disappoint. Outstanding drinks, food and service!!
We did the tasting menu. Very very good. I would go again. Not sure if it is worth ALL the $$ you spend but very good. Uchi is down the street and almost as good for a fraction of the cost.
We dined at Nobu for our milestone silver anniversary. It was our 1st visit so we went with the 8 course menu. It was the best sushi ever! The Steak was incredible! Everything was beautiful and so Amazing at Nobu and the server and everyone made us feel very special and we left feeling so so happy! WOW !!!
Nobu is open for 5 hours of the day. Omakase is only available the first 3. Was told we needed a minimum of 2 hours for it. Our reservation was at 9:15pm and restaurant closes at 10pm but stayed til 11pm.
Crispy rice is my go too
Nobu is a favorite and the staples were amazing as always (yellowtail jalapeño, crispy rice). We had two shellfish dishes that were very disappointing. The spicy garlic shrimp was very fishy tasting and the king crab leg we ordered was inedible (taking a bite of it tasted like what I would imagine taking a drink of fish tank water would taste like).
Our apps, drinks, and dessert were worthy of 5 stars. Sadly the entrees were a miss for us.
The best nobu experience I’ve ever had, and I’ve been to many nobu locations. Highly recommend this location for excellent food, great service, and a fun atmosphere.
Absolutely amazing! Beautifully presented and delicious omakase with great wines and sake! We loved it and will be back.
Service was unbelievably slow. Took 1 hour to get a player of all sushi rolls and sashimi. Took 2 hours to get shrimp tempura. Waiter didn’t come to check on us at all. The whole dinner took 4 hours and cost all most 400$.
We decided on Nobu for our 27th wedding anniversary. We have been to Novo several Times over the years and I’ve always had an enjoyable experience.
The restaurant had to take out 50% of their tables and we booked a reservation at 9:30pm. Literally they were at 50% capacity and it still took 45 minutes to even get the first course of the Premier Dallas Chef tasting. 45 minutes....it was 10:15pm and after the 3rd course of the chef’s tasting menu, we were informed the kitchen was closing and were asked if we wanted anything outside of what we ordered. It’s $185 a person to get the chef tasting menu. I have never had to ask for anything outside of the Chefs tasting menu. We order it every time we go. Unfortunately Instead of Waygu that seers on a hot stone, we received Waygu short ribs. That is not what is usually served for the meat course. Maybe they ran out of the better cuts?
We are not generally picky eaters, or need to be waited on hand and foot. I want what I pay for. If the restaurant can not provide it then tell me, charge for the entry level chef tasting at $125..That use to be the price of the “premier” chef tasting. I looked over at the table next to us and they were SHARING a chefs tasting and it looked way better than ours did.
We will be be back, but we are going to wait a while and hopefully business picks up enough they can hire a few extra waiters and support staff, and upgrade the food quality. It was just “meh”. Nothing to write home about and believe me we have had some OUTSTANDING meals at Nobu in Dallas and Las Vegas.
If you ever get a chance to go to the Nobu in Las Vegas. GO! I had the best meal of my life at the Las Vegas Nobu.
See you next time Nobu! I hope business picks up!!
Really loved trying some new foods. And loved the really well put together small portions.
Nobu never disappoints!
I celebrated my anniversary last week, and I also wanted to redeem a long-unused gift certificate. My boyfriend and I splurged on the multi-course chef's tasting, and the parade of wonderfully vibrant flavors was one to remember.
It was his first time, and it was my fourth. It didn't take much convincing to get him to think about coming back again.
