We went for restaurant week and to celebrate my birthday. There were 3 of us so we each ordered one of the items from each course. Food was outstanding, the beef toboyanki was amazing, As a nice surprise they decorated my desert with a candle etc for my birthday. - L

Sadly had horrible experience, took 30 min to get a beer, and was there for 2.5 hours….. waiter never checked up on us and main entrees came out at different times, with out even apologizing for the poor timing. Wish I would have liked this more but Uchi will continue to reign supreme. - AV

Theres too many girls hosting at the front. High school girls. (You can tell they were young) They take you in and yell a greeting which seems unusual for that setting. The sushi was fresh. Service was confusing. One person to bring your drink menu. Another to take your order. Someone else to bring your food and others to take your food. Didn’t even know who our server was and who to order more food from. The food was good but the flow of the service did not leave a good experience for me. Theres too many people coming to my table. - D

Waited 15 min to be seated even though we had a reservation. Hostess was not pleasant almost rude to the point how she asked us to wait. Seemed a way too unorganized compared to other Nobu locations. Food came out at very slow pace. Serving staff liked up at the kitchen to get their customers' dishes. It is Nobu, definitely taking advantage of its name for an worse than average service but charging a ton for average food. - HM

We may not be “foodies”, but enjoy sushi three times a month. Typically, 75% raw versus cooked. This will be our fourth year doing Omakase at Nobu Dallas, and probably the last. I understand food is hard to source during the pandemic, but should be no excuse for poor quality and execution. We rarely have a bad food experience, so this review is hard to write. Since it’s not a cheap place, I figured I would share so you can have a better experience at Nobu. The overall fish choice and freshness was questionable. Toro with Caviar was amazing. A5 Wagyu was great, but a lot of flavor was lost in the overwhelming BBQ-like sauce. It could have been more simple and paired with something that will release its’ natural sweet and buttery flavors. I’m a big fan of Yuzu, but one of the dish had so much Yuzu, it gave me heartburn all night (maybe, it’s my age and not the preparation). We gave our allergies, one of hers was avocados, and it was still prepared on the main dishes. If you want Omakase, potentially sit at the sushi counter so you can provide feedback to the chef. Otherwise, skip the Omakase and order individual dishes. Definitely, much better places in Dallas for quality and value. - KJ

Bad service. Ordered a bunch of different plates to share and the courses were not spaced out. When we finished our drinks our server did not ask if we wanted to order another. Server was all over the place and did not come to our table often. Overall I’m disappointed. I went for excellent service and it was not given. Good food but without the service I do not think it is worth it. Been to the restaurant a few times over the year and the quality is not the same. If we were going to go again, We would eat at the sushi bar.
