Service was exceptional as you’d except from a restaurant this level. What was not so exciting was food. We had one vegetarian and this was any but satisfying. Food itself was bland, not even salt and pepper on tempura friend onions and pumpkins. We had additionally ordered vegetable skewered which came with half onions, 2inch by 3 inch Zucchini, and cucumber seasoned with maybe some salt and pepper. Additionally, we ordered Mushroom Tobanyaki with we had requested server to bring with teriyaki sauce. It arrived plain after few minutes they brought us Teriyaki sauce on the side. I wish they could have cooked it with teriyaki sauce, I wouldn’t think anyone would want boiled mushroom with salt, pepper, or any spices. We were able to force down the much room with teriyaki sauce but at that point all hopes were lost.
I would like to comment at $200 or 2 people I would have excepted a little more seasoned deliciousness. However, it missed it completely for us. I would recommend anyone to go to Uchi (just down the block) excellent taste and deliciousness you can taste for about same price if not a little cheaper. Uchi also has a great vegetarian menu.
Fabulous restaurant and food/sushi is on par some of the best I’ve ever had. I am a frequent travel and sushi consumer.
Wonderful food, great service
We had been wanting to come to Nobu for dinner for a long time. We had heard and read great things about it. But the real experience fell really short of our expectations, unfortunately.
Nothing negative to say about the ambience and the service. They were both great!
However, the sushi we ordered was just OK.
Thanksgiving week, 3 of us ate here for dinner. Server was excellent, as is the whole staff. God uniformly excellent, but portions have gotten smaller and prices have escalated. A favorite, the spicy cheesy crabmeat, was so small that I actually told the waiter that they served a sampler or appetizer portion, because it was basically 3 forks worth. The chef sent out 3 tiny crab tacos to make up for it.
No more infused sake carafes, either.
Overall, still great, but at $500 for 3 people who were still hungry about an hour later, maybe plan for a late lunch or late night snacking either before or after dinner at Nobu.
Very good service and the food was excellent
As always, the best sushi/dinner spot in Dallas delivers again.
Creamy spicy crab, black miso cod, and about a million oyster shooters is the true definition of bliss.
Love the fusion influences. The cadence on the food coming out was a bit inconsistent, but other than that, the service was good. the quality of ingredients was excellent. Prices are up a bit, but just have to be aware going into it. Recommend for a nice outing.
This waiter I had twice and he was not good. Forget so many things and getting the orders on drinks wrong. Then didn’t bother to bring us the last drink we ordered. For the price we’re paying this kind of inconsistency should never be overlooked
Last time we visited Nobu, we had a poor experience, so we were thrilled that this time around, the team hit it out of the park. We appreciated being seated at a quieter table during our anniversary meal. In a restaurant as loud as Nobu, being seated away from the bar is a nice reprieve. We enjoyed the classic omakase very much, but felt that the soup course fell a little flat. For $110/person, we felt the menu could've used a better course than a dish that costs a few cents to make. The rest of the dinner was fantastic - especially the sushi sampler, signature cod, and espresso dessert. We'll definitely be back!
Excellent. Value on the high side for 3 ppl. Bill was $600!!! Yikes.
Incredible service! Food was amazing! Made our anniversary extra special:) Lots of details and enjoy how the servers explain dishes that may be intimidating. Will be back for sure!!
The food was fantastic and the servers were experts on every item on the menu. We chose the 8-course meal and found that the service was flawless, everything was timed perfectly. The only downside is how loud the restaurant got, which made it difficult to carry a conversation without raising one’s voice. Overall everything was great.
Surprised to see such a huge difference between 2 nobu restaurants.
Wrong food was brought to our table
Celebrating a bday never asked what desert to bring out and yes we know it’s not free, but they never asked about desert!!
We waited 45 mins between courses. I have been to a lot of Nobu’s and the service here was the worse.
The staff is the best, and so is the food. That is why we go almost every other week...
16 yr old bday
This Nobu has aged well, still has a vibrant night scene. Menu has been nicely updated. Service is always superb!
Provided us with a bad seat! Spent $500! and was seated next to the waiters cup and new dish stand so constantly had waiters stopping by next to us and walking right behind us.
Food was awesome but service was slow. Should have had a better seat especially since it was a birthday!
We ordered the signature chef’s menu. No meat dishes was a disappointment. Mistake by servant threw soup in his lap. Although he was ok with the inconvienance no excuses or compensation from the manager.
Have been to better Nobu locations
Always an awesome experience!!! Nobu never disappoints!!!
Great food and drinks
Business dinner with large client, everything was excellent
Same quality I experienced in the NYC site. Brilliant service, great food.
Under no circumstances would I spend that kind of $$ for Nobu again. It is quite nice and the food was quite good - the lobster roll was excellent - but not out of this world. There are neighborhood places in Seattle that can do much (not all of course) of what I saw at Nobu for literally 1/3 as much money. The ambiance was ok - decor nice service quite good but ? it was loud and there was a big TV on in the background.
Cocktails and food were delicious
Go once just for the name, but it’s very average, especially for the price. Nice restaurant and great drinks.
exquisite! Perfect! Amazing!
The restaurant and our server were absolutely exquisite. However, the food was great.. BUT, the wait for the food wasn’t. I understand good food takes time... but when you’re order $$$$ dollar plates you expect them to be out quicker, rather then waiting, waiting and waiting for the next plate. Our reservation was at 9:15 PM we didn’t leave Nobu until 11:45 PM-ish. (We places all our food order at the same time) before our last dish even came out (20-30 min prior) I pre ordered out desert so it could come out almost immediately after our last entree. The food was over all great, but the wait... eh. I dont know if it makes it worth it.
Very comfortable. Enjoyed the intimate menu and all the flavors they had to offer. Fantastic food
The food and service were excellent, with the exception of the dessert for the Dallas Omakase. The first six courses were delicious. If not for the dessert, we would have given a 5 star review. Unfortunately, the dessert lowered the review to 4 stars. The servers were very attentive and we loved how they kept our glasses full and our napkins folded if we stepped away. If only the dishes were cooked in a timely fashion. The couple next to us had the same meal, but were served their courses much faster. It took almost 4 hours to receive all 7 of our courses. While 6 of the courses were delicious, they probably could have been served in under 2 hours.
Great food and service, which was very comparable to the Nobu’s we’ve dined at in NYC!
I wouldn't call the noise level "Energetic", however, that's the highest rating you have and the terminology you choose to use. I'd call the noise level LOUD and a bit uncomfortable. Otherwise, a wonderful experience.
Server was great. We listened to everything he suggested and were very happy with his selections. It was for a birthday. They wrote my girlfriend’s name on the plate and she was very happy. Overall, highly recommend.
I always leave Nobu with a feeling that it sure was a
