Excellent service paired with amazing food.
Highly recommend the OMAKASE, a bit pricey but worth every penny.
Great - consistently with other visits
Great experience with great food!
We always come here because of the service and quality of the food. However, this last visit was a little disappointing.
I ordered the Yellowtail shashimi Jalapeno twice, and the first time they brought it out, the size was very small and extremely thin, we could almost see through it. I ordered it again and the second time was what we were used too.
I didn't bring it up to the waitress because it was the first time this has happened. We definitely payed full price for a half the portion.
I will definitely come back and mention it, if it happens again.
Service and food were excellent...although the portions seem a bit overpriced. Can’t say enough good things about the wait staff. And the bartender that night was excellent.
Had a great time! Great food and wonderful service! Pricy but you can get full by paying about 50 a person. Only complaint was music might have been a little loud but overall a great experience. Would come again!
Everything was delicious, relatively expensive but worth it for a special night out.
Not the usual Nobu fine dining experience. Feels much more like the lobby restaurant of a 4 star hotel.
I think it was a cool experience to eat at a Nobu. I’m not the fine dining type so it’s tough for me to really compare it anything else, it had great service, a bit noisy so I couldn’t hear everything the server said but there isn’t anything that I can really complain about. Food was really good, we did the tasting menu and it was good as well as filling so I appreciated that. Their dessert (cappuccino miso something lol) was amazing, easily my favorite part. It was pricey but that was expected.
They put us in the back table next to the window. We asked to move but they said it would be an hour wait. The wind was literally blowing my hair by window. Not a good experience. I love the food here, but disappointed to be sat at that table when you had a reservation.
The food, drinks, and atmosphere at Nobu were phenomenal, however I would say that the service was subpar. When my husband and I walked in the door we were not greeted, nor did they ask if we wanted our coats checked (like they did the other guests)- for a nicer restaurant this should be customary as the host/hostess is essentially the first point of contact and the face of the restaurant for guests as they arrive. Once we were escorted to our table we were well taken care of by our server, but we waited an unusually long time for our food which was very disappointing due to the surrounding tables who sat down after us eating their meals. The server noticed the delay, apologized many times, and seemed to look very frustrated with the chefs. Delicious food takes time, which we understand, but from start to finish we were at Nobu for nearly three hours...
Nobu was everything we thought it would be and more. Everything was perfect! David, our waiter was amazing. The food, the drinks, the atmosphere and the service was a step above.
Awesome experience. Top 5 sushi in the nation.
I always enjoy our time at Nobu. The food is fantastic. I love the out room not near the bar for the quieter place to be. It wouldn't be quiet but quieter. Enjoy.
Nobu is one of our favorite restaurants. The Dallas Location was a little off when we visited. The white fish tiradito was too spicy. It also seemed they changed the crispy rice and spicy tuna dish. Other than that it was very good. Servers attentiveness was exceptional.
The place is amazing.
I’ve been to Nobu in Vegas and the one in Dallas and the one in Dallas is the best.
Great food. Great Service !
Great service , food was unbelievable , too pricey for the portions.
Fantastic. Great service. Great food. One of the best dinning experiences we have ever had.
Amazing service venue and food!
I have been to Nobu a couple of times and the food is always amazing!
We had a great time at Nobu for my daughter's 17th birthday. Our waitstaff did a great job keeping water glasses full, bringing food out at a perfect pace, and constantly checking on us. The food was very good; everything we had tasted wonderful, was presented impeccably, and the steak was outstanding. We did the mid-level Omikase ($130/person), and although the flavors were all wonderful and everything was prepared well, the overall price seemed a little high for what we got. But, it was a once-a-year special occasion. Don't know that I would go here on a regular basis due to the prices, when many of the items I can get at my local sushi restaurant and they are just as tasty and fresh. Was not much of a fan of the dessert which was a blueberry jelly...thing. But again, for a special occasion, it was great and they did a very nice job.
We celebrated our 31st anniversary weekend in Dallas and went to Nobu on Saturday evening January 5, 2019. It was our first time to Nobu and we asked our waiter Norbert to recommend everything we ate. He and the chefs did an outstanding job on our behalf. they also brought us an anniversary dessert dish with happy anniversary written in chocolate. We had tuna tataki, one cold dish i can’t remember now but it was great too, red snapper with apple in center, which was the palate cleanser before the 3 hot plates. I forgot the first hot plate, then we had the char and the king crab plates. The king crab is fantastic. Besides the anniversary dessert, wife got the bento box and i got the capachino dessert. They tell you to push the spoon all the way down the cup to taste all the flavors on each spoonful. Do what they say. It is fantastic. We had a really great time.
Not the usual Nobu experience at New Years Eve: food was blend and service impersonal.
Went for NYE. The 8 course meal was poorly executed, up to 30-minutes wait between one of the courses. The food was great, except for 2 mediocre dishes- however for the price I expected better from every facet of my experience. I really enjoy splurging on a nice night out but I certainly won’t be doing it at Nobu again.
We come here roughly 6 times a year for special occasion or business dinners. I want to give a quick shout out for our waitress. Believe her name was Nika & she was outstanding. Friendly, knowledgeable & most importantly, not pushy. Hope this gets back to her or the manager. Cheers!
New Year’s Eve and Birthday dinner with Sylvio and David. Outstanding service and attention - special dessert was nice!
First time at Nobu! Great food!!! Great service! The waiter
Guided us on our choices and that was the right thing to do! We started with a tuna tataki then foie gras gyoza. Their version of the cesar salad was delicious!
They had a foie gras spécial that night and it was great.
Then Black Cod Miso best I ever had!!!!
Then. Wage beef flambé at the table , worth the price !
Finish with their bento box desert !!!
My wife and I reserved a table at this restaurant for our 21st wedding anniversary. Food and service was great, restaurant is absolutely gorgeous. I do have a complain about our dining experience there that left a bad taste in our mouth. My wife asked the waitress what appetizer she recommended and she suggested the tempura Brussels sprouts, so we decided to try it. after she had a few pieces and I tried s couple of pieces neither of us like it. The waitress came to our table and asked us how we liked the appetizer and after we told her that we didn’t care too much about it she picked it up and told us she will take off the bill. About a couple of minutes later this guy that we assume was the manager shows up at our table and asks us why we didn’t like the Appetizer, my wife told him that it taste like fried batter, that’s when he questioned us in a sarcastic tone that how did we not like it and manage to eat most of it. My wife and I were just in amazement that he would make such a comment to us considering that it was just a $13 appetizer and we never asked them to take it off our bill. We just told the waitress our honest opinion and she picked it up.
The service was slow, they forgot our soup and salad and everything was extremely overpriced. One of our dishes was supposed to be spicy and it barely had any heat so we asked for a side of hot sauce and were charged $1 for a tbsp of siracha. I don’t mind spending a premium at a reaturant if I see the value, but I’ve gotten better sushi at Kanki.
Sushi over priced
Been to Nobu Dallas at least four previous times, and since the last visit there has been a price increase to the tastings menus. This time the food was hit or miss. The dishes, as a whole, were too salty.
Food and presentation great. Service mediocre. Environment good. Price very high. Value not so much. I prefer Blue Sushi Sake Grill in the area to this place.
We tried the chef's tasting menu -- it was paced well and most all items were good.
The sushi is always innovative and delicious. Wine selection could be a little broader. People watching is always crazy...still my favorite place to sit is the sushi bar.... talking to the sushi chef...
It was amazing!
Unfortunately the experience was very disappointing. What was intended to be a very nice dinner was not because of the inability of this restaurant to bring dinner servings at (approximately) the same time. The first guest ate alone with five others watching. Then the second guest, and so on. In the end all had finished their meals except the last who was yet to be served. The reason given was “we serve from five different kitchens, so we can’t.” That sounds like “we don’t really care about your dinner experience, it instead is all about the complexity of our kitchens.” And that at Nobu prices. Not going here again. There are plenty of great restaurants who deliver great experiences every time.
