Nobu - Caesars Palace Las Vegas Ratings and Reviews
Have been in Nobu Ceasars several times. Always enjoyed quality of food and presentation
This time I was disappointed. Although black cod was great, “sushi dinner “ was not better than in a cheap sushi joint around the corner: cold rice, not really fresh poorly selected fish
We were so excited to dine at Nobu, and so disappointed with what we got. For 3 appetizers, 3 pieces of sashimi, two sushi rolls, and 5 drinks, the bill was almost $300. The sushi was unremarkable, the noise level was ridiculous, and Nobu-san should be ashamed to have his name on this restaurant. There was no level of service comensurate with Chef Nobu's reputation, and the menu selections were pedestrian.
Having dined at several amazing Japanese restaurants, including 2 Morimoto restaurants and 3 Shiro Kashiba restaurants, this one fell so far short of our expectations. Will not recommend to anyone.
The moment we arrived the entire Nobu experience went downhill. After checking in with the hostess we were told to stand over there. We saw several other couples standing against the wooden curved wall. I walk over and nicely ask for a quiet table as my husband had just fallen and broken his wrist and tore ligaments in his thumb. The hostess smiled, nodded and the barked again- you know you only can be here from 5-7. You must be out by 7! I was shocked and could not believe her tone and that this was Nobu. We are taken to our table. A HORRIBLE TABLE AT RHE WND OF A ROW RIGHT BY THE DOOR AND CASH REGISTER. I asked to be seated at a booth. The ditzy woman that seated us had to get permission. That was granted by the barking hostess. After that it was fine. Dinner was good, service excellent etc... I told our waitress we were surprised someone did not come over and explain their new rules. Just before we were leaving a gentleman came over, did not introduce himself and explained they are going the route of other restaurants during busy times and having timed seating. I very politely explained that we made these reservations well in advance, the restaurant Amy had sent numerous emails reminding of the reservation but never mentioned a 2 hour time slot for dinner. Nobu is supposed to be above the other restaurants. If you want to be like the rest- fist you need to lower your prices and expect a different clientele. We will certainly not be back.
Terrible restaurant. I will not return. Waited long after our reservation for our table. Greeting had a very dismissive attitude. Were told to wait on a little couch or at the bar. There were not enough seats at the bar. TV tuned to a local station right in front of us blaring infomercials. Table they gave us was a lounge table. Very low and unpleasant. They said a reservation is for either and can’t be specified. We asked to go to the dining room and how long the wait would be. Five minutes later the waitress comes back and says that we can’t go in the dining room, it full. We ask again how long would the wait be. She rolls her eyes and huffs, then goes to check. Comes back saying that it will be twenty minutes (it’s 9:45 by this point). We say ok. She asks us to leave the lounge table and go to the bar. There are two other empty 4 person tables beside us and one 6 person. She says people are waiting for the tables and insists we get up. Back to the decidedly low-end bar. We watch the lounge tables as we are waiting for the dining room area and only one of the 4 tables ever gets used, and not the one we were sitting at. Awful. You can’t coven back from that. Put us in a bad mood for a very average dinner. They don’t care anymore.
Food was great but the service was incredible! I am still curious how each table seemed to have about 5-6 servers that were all very aware and clear on my friend’s allergies when we had only chatted with one. Other restaurants/hotels need to take a lesson on whatever Nobu at Caesar’s Palace has going on for training!
The food was fabulous! Especially appreciated was the black cod dish and the spinach salad. Easy to share with a friend.
The food is extraordinary, delicious, healthy and unique. It represents a creative dedication to originality and taste. A meal is a symphony of tastes, textures and surprises. We had a wonderful meal. Our waiters were prompt, informative and completed the experience.
Nobu was on my bucket list for a long time and when i found out there was one in Las Vegas, i booked it immediately. Words cannot fully explain how good it was... From the moment we walked in till the last minute it was absolutely amazing experience. Our server was very knowledgeable, the food was beyond our expectations. It is not your regular sushi place. It is pricey but worth every penny spent! If you are a foodie like us you must visit Nobu
Beautiful restaurant, nice food , not a big variety. Too expensive for the dishes they serve . The drinks are way too expensive , if they were taste good so maybe , but the taste is OK. I have been in many sushi / Japanese restaurant, Nobu is just a name nothing more.
We have been wanting to dine at Nobu for a very long time and to say that our expectations were exceeded is an understatement. Service was impeccable, our server was knowledgeable and offered great recommendations. The attention to detail with the food was unreal. Cannot say enough good things about this restaurant. Very impressed.
