My wife and I thoroughly enjoyed the entire experience of Noble Fare. We are visitors from the frozen North and were warmed by the southern hospitality offered us during our visit. My lamb shank was wonderful. Truly a memorable evening.
a really charming place. The service was wonderful and the food was very good.
I will definitely go there again.
Every time my wife and I go to Savannah, we dine at Noble Fare. We love the food, but the ambiance is special. It is a feel good experience each and every time. Our expectations are high, yet the staff, the chef and the restaurant never fails to deliver. Our next trip to Savannah will require a reservation at Noble Fare for dinner.
Everything was outstanding. Great service. Great food. Highly reccomend this establishment.
The food was delicious. The music was a little too loud for easy conversation.
We have been here several times over the past 5 years. Always consistent quality in food, service, ambience. They consistently have THE best filet mignon. Their salads and desserts are always good; their variety of entrees is excellent. The fish of the day- grouper was delicious! Love fine dining and this is one of our favorites in the US.
I loved my scallops, but I went for the cocoa pork listed on the website. I even called. Disappointed that it wasn’t available.
We joined my sister and brother-in-law for dinner at Noble Fare this past Thursday evening and had a delightful experience. While the restaurant is small, that adds to the cozy, comfortable, yet elegant atmosphere. The black, white and fuscia theme is executed flawlessly with beautiful damask fabrics, white linen table cloths and crystal chandeliers. Our server and bar tender were both warm & friendly, as well as knowledgeable and professional. The food was the Star of the Show. We enjoyed specialty cocktails, the Grilled Romaine, Baby Wedge and House Rules Salads followed by Filet Mignon, Veal Osso Bucco and the Grouper Special of the day. For dessert we devoured Fuzzy Ducks (Savannah Whiskey & Ice Cream), and the Salted Caramel Cheesecake. Everything was delicious - one of the finest restaurants we have enjoyed in Savannah!
Disappointing. We had high expectations for this restaurant based on the reviews on this website and the recommendation of the host of our vacation rental. We ordered the lamb shank and scallops. Unfortunately, the lamb was incredibly bland and no amount of salt could revive the flavor. I love lamb and generally it is hard to make it bland. We liked the scallops better, which we thought were nice but not great. It's a lovely (small) space and the service was good. Too bad the food was so much below our expectations.
A Gem of a Restaurant in Savannah. Great Food. Great atmosphere. Very cozy! Portions are on the smaller side, but are perfectly prepared. Very enjoyable meal served by a very friendly staff. I will be back on my next visit to Savannah.
Delicious food. Great service. Always special.
Great food and service
This was a pleasant surprise in all respects. Nobel Fare is out away from the main stream of Savannah night life, but small intimate well-appointed setting it offers appeared to attract a number of clientele. The kitchen and bar are efficiently run. The server staff was knowledgeable and attentive. Our appetizers, entrees and dessert were outstanding and accompanied by a delicious wine. This was a memorable dinning experience.
Delicious experience with wonderful service. We brought our eight year with us and even he had a good time.
Nble Fare is a great place for that special dinner. Food is very good, with a nice selection of wines.
What a lovely evening!! Everything was wonderful from the service to the food to the atmosphere! Thank you!!
This was our second time in Savannah, and our second time at Noble Fare. This is by far our favorite restaurant in Savannah and will be back every time we’re in town. The ambiance is so welcoming, the service is on point, and the food is to die for! This time, my husband had the filet (one of the nightly specials) and I had the diver scallops. We both also had the wild mushroom bisque (worth it!). This restaurant is a hidden little gem that we’re so glad we found! The owners and staff are always so nice and hospitable. They really go above and beyond here! Can’t say enough about this place!
Wonderful Dining experience! Highly recommended1 All three entrees that our party had were fantastic
Great food, off the beaten path and fantastic service. Highly recommended if you want a break from tourist areas.
Wonderful little restaurant tucked away in a quiet section of Savannah. Delicious entrees! Pleasant service. Quiet dining room.
This is a lovely restaurant, with traditional options ranging from filet mignon to seafood. The food is delicious and you really can't go wrong with an evening spent in this location.
It's a smaller restaurant so reservations are a must. The staff knows their wine list well and offers substitutions to side dishes if you prefer to mix it up w/ what the chef suggests. No salt and pepper on the tables because the dishes are seasoned very well. Enjoy!
Celebration of sorts. Starting new job on Monday which will involve major travel on my part. Wanted to give my wife some intimate attention and knew right away this was the only place where that would happen. This place is firing on all cylinders. Always has, always will. The service is attentive but not overbearing. The food is always creative and well portioned. The wine list is varied but not overly done. Great value for the entire meal. Our local friends also rave about this place which means your secret is leaking out. That’s great because it means you’ll have a steady flow of customers which will keep you in business for years to come. We love this restaurant!
Love this restaurant. A little bit out of the hustle of the Historic District so a hidden gem! The menu changes frequently and they use local fresh foods whenever possible. Great atmosphere, small, intimate setting. Quiet enough to have a conversation with your stablemates. Food was delicious. Service was attentive but not cloying.
Dinner was disappointing. Romaine lettuce salad was burnt and scallops were ordinary.
Food was outstanding. Fairly small room so reservations are important.
We always have a wonderful meal and dining experience at Noble Fare.
Food is always excellent. Steaks and fish dishes are the best on town!
Excellent food and service. A neighborhood gem that is worth the trip . One of the great restaurants in Savannah.
This cozy neighborhood gem offers consistently good food made with fresh local ingredients. The cocktail list changes seasonally. During St. Patrick's "month" try the Leprechaun. The wine list is fine, and there are craft beers available.
For starters, the wilted romain salad gets rave reviews. The mushroom soup is a meal in itself. I wish they would give the option for ordering a cup instead of a full bowl. The menu features a catch of the day and if it is halibut, look no further for your dinner selection.
The decor is funky...kind of New Orleans bordello with its black and white damask wallpaper and red drapes. I don't say that disparagingly; somehow it works. The chairs are comfy and the noise level is subdued. You can actually talk to your dining companions without yelling.
On occasion the restaurant offers a $15 "TV Dinner" that includes an entre, side, and dessert.
You can arrange for parties on the second floor where there is a dedicated bar and additional table seating. I love this upstairs bar. It is not really part of Savannah's bar scene, but if you want a place to hang out with girlfriends for a private chat, this could be the place. Just be aware that the second floor is up a steep flight of stairs.
Dinner guests are mostly locals. The restaurant also operates a sandwich shop two blocks south of the restaurant that offers tasty take-out.
Another delightful evening at Noble Fare!
Great food and good service. Short ribs and filet mignon were excellent.
The food was very good, the drinks were great. Very romantic, nice for celebrating and anniversary.
The food was great. Most of the diners , including us, were attending a special event nearby. The service felt rushed but actually was very slow. We Will go back, but might not choose on a big event night.
I don't understand why this place has so many good reviews. As some of the posters have already mentioned, don't waste your time or money.
I knew this probably wasn't going to work out well when the completely frazzled lady behind the bar then did double leave duty to be our waitress. To be fair, she was a very nice lady, just slammed by the disorganized manner of the restaurant. She said, "all our steaks are wet-aged because the chef prefers them that way so he can put a good char on them." I'm thinking, yeah, because they're cheaper.
The steak cane our completely overcooked and I sent it back. The next one came out completely cold red in the middle but, just like the other one, burnt to a crisp on the outside. It was sent back. They tried a third time but it was still the same, cold red in the middle, burnt outside. How hard is it to cook a medium rare steak? Eventually I told them to forget it and I went without a meal.
The other dish, fish, was drowned on a buttery sauce and, like the first steak, overcooked.
The decor is old and tired but perhaps that is part of the charm for some.
I thought at the very least they'd apologize and offer the main courses at their expense. Initially I refused to pay for the entrees but they said it was my fault for not knowing what a medium rare steak is supposed to be and reluctantly agreed to comp the steak. How kind! They decided to not charge for me for something I didn't have.
Went to Noble Fare for dinner with my wife and friends. My friends and I had the filet and my wife had the diver scallops, all of which were cooked to perfection by Chef Patrick. After a wonderful meal we had dessert and after dinner drinks. Our regular server, Stephanie, helped everyone make the perfect selection for wine and after dinner drinks. Another perfect evening at Noble Fare, thanks to Jenny, Patrick and Stephanie.
My wife and I went to celebrate Valentine's day . The atmosphere and food were phenomenal.
We had a great valentines dinner at NobleFare! They had a very good menu. We enjoyed the food and drinks, cocktails that we had were very well priced. Overall: great experience.
It was Valentine's Day and both the local cab company and Uber let us down, so we arrived 15 minutes late for our reservation on a busy night. The restaurant couldn't have been nicer about it, and what could have been a problematic evening wasn't.
Great food and service. Very consistent. Menu has changed very little over the years which could be good or not, depending on how you look at it. Not a cheap evening but one of our favorites
The braised short ribs lacked flavor but the duck was good. And the creme brûlée and decaf coffee were amazing. Very attentive and pleasant staff. Overall it was a decent place for a special dinner for two.
