I understand the difficulty of creating menus that cater to all. My fiance does not eat red meat (not to bad on the scale of picky eaters). Turkey Burger? Veggie Burger? is it that hard?

We went in at 6pm and were promptly seated and flowers I ordered were on the table. Great table by the window. Had the Ceasar salad....note great taste and big enough to split if your not that hungry...if you are good size. My partner had the short ribs which we both had last time and it was great as the last time we went. I had the Fish Special sole over mashed with grilled cauliflower and Brussels sprouts. Tasted great everything...Dinner was great and will return and would recommend . They also have a great brunch....

If you want a neighborhood restaurant in Nob Hill with excellent food and moderate prices, this is the place. We loved the chicken pot pie, the short ribs and the roasted chicken. I could imagine this place with cloth napkins to match the quality of the food and service. Very small - which meant even one rowdy table of diners meant you were in a noisy place. Highly recommend!

Found this place after searching around for an hour or so trying to find an after theater place to dine. It was small, but cozy. The food was excellent, prices reasonable, and staff very friendly.
Would definitely recommend for a middle of the road dining experience.

We stopped here after a performance at Grace Cathedral, which was only a 10 minute walk. This is an old-school type place where they cook right behind the bar. The menu is limited, but this make them cook very well the entrees they do offer. Great grass-fed beef burgers and a really good veggie pot pie. There is one t.v. at bar. Service very friendly. I would go again!

This was kind of a shot in the dark for us because it was early on a Sarurdsy night and we were just hungry. This place used to be a hole in the wall and whoever took it over has done an amazing job. It's still a corner neighborhood diner kinda feel but the food is over the top. My husband had the short ribs and a house salad. Not average, excellent. The burrata tasted home made. As good as Acquello!! Not the same atmosphere but would definitely go back.

This restaurant is around the corner from my friend's apartment. It's nothing special to look at, but the food and service is spectacular. I've eaten there 5-10 times over the years and the quality of service and food never changes. And I'm a hard person to please.

I really enjoyed the pot pie, though it was more of a stew with a puff pastry square on top. The "filling" was well balanced with a bit of bacon, and lots of chicken, and veggies. The Old MacDonald burger was also very flavorful. It was a solid dinner in a relaxed atmosphere. Not a lot of choices on the menu, but our small sampling was executed very well.

We had an excellent meal complete with great service. Portions were large and served piping hot.
The only downside was our table was close to the entrance of the restaurant.
