Noah's Ratings and Reviews
Noah's is my favorite dining spot in Greenport. Great selection of LI wines by the taste, glass or bottle. Nice variety of seasonal food choices served as small plates or entrees. Large bar for drinks or dining. Friendly, competent service. You won't regret choosing Noah's.
Noah's is always an excellent choice for a great dinner. We went during "Restaurant Week" and the level of food and service was not diminished at all. We also were treated to Noah himself helping to serve our table! You simply can not go wrong dining at Noah's clearly one of the best restaurants on Long Island.
Noah’s is a great find in Greenport! We ordered many different items including the Filet Mignon Sliders and it was all delicious! Our waitstaff Jason was very helpful in menu selections and attentive to when we needed something! The Key Lime dessert was amazing! Had a wonderful dining experience and we will be back!!!!
Four of us visited to celebrate a friend's daughter's birthday. The food and service was excellent, we tried many items from the menu and none disappointed. Having booked with OpenTable I had left a note that this was Katie's Birthday and the restaurant noted the comment and provided Katie a treat.
We enjoyed our meal. Especially liked being able to share several smaller plates. The filet sliders were perfect. I loved the beignets with salted caramel dip.
It was crowded and very noisy. There was some nice music playing, but we could hardly hear it.
We would go back.
On a Saturday night the restaurant was crowded and noisy, which would have been ok if the food had been anything other than very ordinary. The baked cod was tasteless, the bouillabaise had about 1/4 lb of seafood in it in total, and the french fries were neither crisp nor very hot.
Noah's continues to be one of the North Fork's best restaurants. It is especially notable for its "small plates" (tapas-like). On our latest visit, we greatly enjoyed the crab-stuffed deviled eggs, the duck liver mousse, the hamachi, squash blossoms, duck barbecue, pannacotta, and key lime pie, all of which were wonderful. The curry lamb on skewers was OK, but was the only item which was not on the same level. Another great meal.
We visited on a Sunday night in October. Upon arriving there was an unpleasant odor. Not sure if it came from within the restaurant or outside. We waited a few minutes for someone to come to the hostess desk. We told her we had a reservation but it didn’t seem to be that important that night however she did say a few weeks ago it would’ve mattered. Our which was fine. The menu was very different. We sort of knew that from looking on line. We requested tap water and knew the bread and butter if you chose would come wrapped in a napkin no basket fine with us. Bread was good but very chewy. I ordered the peel and eat shrimp and the crab cake. Both were very good. Hubby had he tuna poke and the shrimp sliders. We also got an order of fingerling potatoes as we ordered small plates. My dishes were very good. Shrimp were cold with nice sauces to dip into. His tuna was fine. The crab cake was very good prepared the way I requested no butter sauté very light oil instead. Not a lot of filler if any at all and delicious. My husband’s shrimp sliders upon the first bite had an undercooked shrimp. To the point of which we asked the hostess if it were meant to be a raw shrimp dish and she said no. She offered to get him a new one but he refused. Turns out the rest were cooked properly. We enjoyed the coconut sorbet for dessert. Interestingly enough we found ourselves back at Noah’s for a second night when our plans fell through. We enjoyed the cheese platter and a burger however the very same crab cake I enjoyed the night before came out cold. When I told our server she very politely offered to bring me a new one and guess what it was also warm at best. We told her and she removed the charge from our bill.
Noah’s is a very nice venue however a tad bit inconsistent.
We went here for a girls weekend based on farm-to-table and recommendations from others in the area. We ordered a variety of dishes, and everyone raved about their meals. The scallop special was plentiful (so happy to see more than 3-4 scallops on the plate!) and the Northside craft cocktail was light, refreshing and to die for! Recommend it for couples, groups.
We were oldest diners with an 8:45 pm holiday Saturday reservation. Recent Open Table reviews had us wondering about what to expect. Seated promptly at requested quiet table in rear. We each ordered one ounce portions of Tanqueray and tonic to start. Told we would be charged for just one drink. Good bread. Fine fish and pasta. Appreciated being able to order 3 ounce portions of wine. Liked our shared dessert. Will gladly return. Recommend.
We were really pleased with our experience at Noah's last night, especially after we'd had a few years of great experiences but the one before this had fallen short. Service was accurate, friendly, helpful, etc. Food is just terrific... we had raw bar, stuffed squash blossoms, soft shell crabs in the most luscious local corn melange you can imagine. My husband had a peach/jalapeno martini and I my usual Grey Goose extra dirty one. Would have loved to have had room for dessert, but alas... Maybe next time. We'll definitely be back.
We had been to Noah's several times over the last 3 years and really really liked it. This time was a Saturday night of a boat show so it was a full house. The menu seems to have changed and 2 of us ordered the crab cakes, which were semi-tasty but not great and only 1 small one, and the lobster rolls which were really tasteless, and miniscule -- 2 in a serving were not even 1/2 the size of a normal lobster roll. The 3rd in our party had the fish and chips which remains a good dish. We were offered bread and 4 very small slices of baguette were brought in a napkin, for 3 people. I was bringing family to my favorite restaurant out here, and it was very disappointing.
