Excellent fresh oysters!
Terrific place for a few small plates and a cocktail. As much or a little as you want/need. Nice variety.
I could never get in here during busy tourist season so I was pleased to get a table last Saturday. What a disappointment . I am sure the shrimp in my shrimp Bloody Mary was from the day before and refrigerated. We ordered four small plates...the Gorgonzola fries were simply thick cut fries topped with chunks of Gorgonzola ...the duck skewers had no flavor...the filet mignon sliders were alright and the crab tacos were excellent. I expected so much more. Not to mention how unfriendly our waiter was. There are many choices in Greenport to spend $100 on lunch that are much better than this was.
I friend and I went for a late lunch when the restaurant was very quiet. The space was well decorated but immediately upon entry both my friend and I were struck by a very fishy overpowering odor. I know it’s a seafood restaurant but they need to manage the odor as part of the ambiance, so as not to be overwhelming.
We had a very capable, friendly server, but essentially the food just did not live up to all the rave reviews I have heard/read about.
The tuna tartare was tasty. However the beet salad was very lackluster and the calamari was ok. I’m forgetting the other dish we ordered but also not inspiring.
Big thumbs up for tasty bread and delicious room temp butter, though.
The food was delicious. That said, the bar service needs improvement. My friend and I were ignored for 20 minutes while waiting to order a pre-dinner cocktail. Once seated, our waitress was wonderful, however, her service of drinks was significantly slow and delayed because of the poor bar service. We didn’t receive a drink until after half our meal arrived.
It was unfortunate, but the room is too big hence not comfy nor personal. Echo of voices is enormous. Waitress forgot about us. Food came out uncoordinated and cold. No Bread. No Rose. They were out! Unfortunate. Overrated.
Delicious meal, great ambiance/decor. However asparagus was overly blackened/burned which left acrid taste.
We had dinner at Noah's in Greenport during East End restaurant week and we had an amazing meal all 3 courses were excellent and the portions were generous we had the monkfish and the hanger steak as our entrees and we both really enjoyed our dinner the BBQ duck appetizer was out of this world Noah's is by far the best restaurant on the north fork!!
Went to New Orleans for restaurant week. The menu choices were perfect!
It was restaurant week. Very good menu selection. Food was delicious. Wines were reasonably priced with adequate choices.
Spacious seating, professional & friendly service accompanied by well thought out menu. The crab tacos and paella were well prepared and seasoned beautifully. The flourless chocolate cake with ice cream completed the meal. We will definitely be going back for additional meals.
Wonderful food and experience! Thanks so much!
Perhaps because it was off season, we did not have a good experience here. Food was bland and service was off the mark.
Restaurant was full on an early season Monday and staff was wonderful but overwhelmed. Nice seafood selections and nice mid century vibe.
Have eaten at Noah’s a few times. Never disappointed with the food and service is always friendly and helpful.
Wonderful meal in Greenport! We really enjoyed the variety of food at Noah's. Our top choice was the Seared Yellow Fin Tuna Tartare. Customers seated next to us raved about the Korean Fried Broccoli--we liked it, but the sauce was a bit heavy. Other highlights were the Tasmanian Red Crab Tacos and the Vegan Kale Caesar. While there, we were also able to sample a variety of North Fork wines. Noah's is a great find and definitely worth a visit. We'll be back.
noah's is an absolute must visit if you are in greenport! make sure you make a reservation on weekends during summer and fall!
Great place to come to with friends and try fun small plates and cocktails!
Food was very good which is what we’d expect at Noah’s. Service was very slow and inattentive. Our service person was also the bartender and he spent more time at the bar and we needed to summons him a few times to place our orders.
We made reservations for a Sunday evening in Mid-March. The restaurant was beautifully lit, ambiance was very nice. The food was delicious. Next time I will try the lobster roll. Our skewers were awesome. Drinks fantastic!
Amazing food. Great service
Excellent as always.
Noah's is my favorite place out on the North Fork. Its elegant classy with a sophisticated feel, but unpretentious like Manhattan. Its my go to for a special occasion and have had many great meals and conversation. We love the wait staff as well, they are vested and care so much about great service and ambience.....
Great food and service. We love our waiter Jason.. such a great guy. Also enjoyed a cool celebrity sighting:)
Yours is a fabulous restaurant. And it's nice to know you are open all year.
This place has declined. They still have great sounding options on their menu, but the execution is so much worse than it used to be. What a shame!
I love Noah's and try to go there almost every time I am out in Greenport which is fairly often. I live in Manhattan, and like most people in the city, I am fond of fine cuisine and a lively crowd. Noah's does not let down.
The menu looked so good, we had a hard time deciding what to order. We decided to go with the small plates. Highly recommend the local oysters. The broccoli was the best thing on the menu, which is weird, but totally worth it. I docked two stars on service because it took a long time for the waitress to take our drink and food orders and another because I had asked for the sausage to be left out in the mussels, and it was included. Otherwise, a lovely experience and I highly recommend.
It was a great evening. The roasted garlic was amazing. I liked the smaller plates, was able to try several different items. The cocktails were very delicious too!
Food is always fresh and clean and I like the portions. Pleasant service better in off season
Great food, especially the tapas, and equally great service. Thanks
Excellent food and nice people. We enjoy going there. Only one gripe, hairs in the napkins...
I was really impressed with the food. It’s the kind of spot where everything is very good and you could easily become a regular.
Amazing food - consistently high quality, very well prepared, locally sourced, and really delicious. Attentive, professional friendly service even on a super busy night amidst lots of varied service requests. Also excellent value - both Prix fixe and regular menu. The consistently best value, highest quality and most enjoyable experience in dining In Greenport and top 2 on NoFo. I recently had a high end meal at a 2-star Michelen NYCity restaurant that cost more than Noah’s and wasn’t near the great experience. I wish I could have brought our guests out to Greenport instead.
We always love Noah’s. He has a great happy hour and we frequently dine there for a special occasion. The food is superb!!
I just love Noah's! My husband and dined here for an early New Year's Eve dinner. We both had a tasting menu. That was a hard decision because the regular menu is so interesting. The meal started with an amuse bouche - deviled egg. Then pan seared foie gras on a toasted brioche with a tomato jam. So delicious! This was followed by a winter citrus crab salad - light and wonderful. The pan roasted filet mignon was fork tender and served with a smoked celery root puree and shaved brussel sprouts. The Cab Franc reduction was to die for. I choose a cheese plate for dessert (which I took home because I was so filled) and my husband had a pot de creme that he loved. Noah's always has wonderful, friendly service. We always feel welcomed here. Check it out. Noah's will not disappoint!!
Top notch service surrounds fresh delicious food. Consistently one of the best in the region.
We ordered tastes, slider to share, then entree. Ecletic and delicious. Thanks Noah.
Love Noah’s! We enjoyed the deviled eggs with crab!! Yum!!! My favorite is the bbq duck with polenta. We also loved the filet mignon sliders and the oyster po’boys. Noah’s is always delicious!!! One of my favorite place in Greenport!!!
