Noah Grant's Grill House and Oyster Bar Ratings and Reviews
I love the new, well thought out ambiance of this restaurant. The menu is extensive with a lot of choices that run from Sushi, fish, to steak. The service was good and attentive and the staff friendly.
Two points of improvement would help this restaurant meet yet another level of excellence:
1. The ceviche and fish we had was a bit overdone. The ceviche was chewy, the Lobster Mac 'n Cheese lacked spice and the lobster was just overdone enough to make this dish an 8 in lieu of a 10.
2. The one long bench on the north side of the restaurants needs cushion like the bench seating across from it. While I can appreciate the look and feel, it really did become uncomfortable to sit on a wooden bench for the entire length of our meal.
As usual Noah Grants did not disappoint! The peal and eat shrimp were fresh and fantastic as always. The Ciopinno was loaded with seafood as usual and was bursting with flavor! The only complaint, our bread that accompanied the Ciopinno was stale. The new location is great, but it was a little louder than normal. Acoustics in the room are a little different than in the previous location!
We dined there with another couple. None of us had been there before. We all enjoyed our meals. The salmon was cooked perfectly, and the Brussels sprouts were enjoyed by all. My husband had the short ribs and goat cheese risotto. WHAT? IT WAS INSANELY DELICIOUS. Thank goodness he couldn’t finish it all and we had some at home the next day. One of us had the scallops. Beautiful sear on the scallops, and so tasty. She shared but still had four or five to herself!
Bryce was our server. He was busy! But he made us feel special. Can’t wait to go back!!
Terrific meal!! Started with the Tuna Tartare which was delish...loved the sauce. Went onto the bisque which was my favorite part of the meal. It was full of delicious pulled crab...soo great! We then had the Looney Tuna roll which was soo fresh and just fantastic! We finished with the Seafood Risotto which was very good, not quite as amazing as I remember from the past but the seafood on it was abundant and cooked to perfection so hard not to love! All around, such an incredible meal! My husband had the Dirty Girl Martini and the Old Fashioned, both of which he has regularly so he's quick to say yay or nay on....and he said they were both among the best he's had in over a year, which says a lot! My Cosmo was delish and even the Riesling I had with dinner stood out as being really great! Again, TERRIFIC meal, can't wait to go back!
First time at Noah Grant's. For the dead of January I was surprised that the place was absolutely packed. I had a reservation at 8:15, but we didn't get seated until 8:45, which was a little disappointing. Overall, the food was excellent, generous portions, fairly priced for the quality and overall a very good meal.
I appreciated the fact that they recognized the late seating despite the reservation and comped a shared dessert for the table.
Overall, nice ambiance, good meal and I will go back but I would recommend either going early or late if possible to avoid the 6-8 pm crush. If you don't have a reservation and they suggest getting a seat in the bar - be skeptical. The bar was packed was standing room only and tight.
I made this reservation for a birthday dinner. I was seated over 20 minutes late to my table. In my view this is unacceptable without some offer from the manager as compensation (drinks, dessert, etc.).
The food is above average and the wait staff adequate. However, I will not be back to this establishment based on how my reservation was handled.
Beautiful...newly remodeled and very pleasing to the eye! The food was all fresh, hot and wonderfully presented. The staff was friendly and attentive. We will be going back and bringing more family with us. Could've been because we were there on a busy Saturday night but it was very loud. Perhaps it was the tall ceilings, not sure. I'm guessing other nights, wouldn't be an issue.
We arrived early about 5 PM, and NG's was packed by 6...not bad for a Sunday! A usual, everything was wonderful! Half-priced oysters and bottles of wine were added bonuses on this Sunday evening. We started with a dozen Wellfleet oysters (not always available at NG's) which seemed as tasty/fresh as those served at the Beachcomber or at Finely JP's in that Cape Cod town...over the years we've vacationed near Wellfleet at least a dozen times and had local oysters at both joints. The Kickin Shrimp appetizer was a nice spicy contrast to the oysters. The Grouper entree and Blackened Shrimp salad were both very good for dinner. Highly recommend the Tikal Patriota wine from Argentina. No room for dessert this time, but another great trip to NG's on the Brick Street!
