Nothing special, food average, service average ......average.....pretty much relies on the area it is based in.
Entered restaurant early and staff seemed to push for orders and cleaning tables before meal was complete. food arrived quickly but not of good quality especially the rice . decided not to order more wine or dessert as just felt the quality not that evening - shame as enjoyed a meal here in the past.
Some unusual dishes, all of which we have tried so far are tasty and well spiced (I've been twice). The service is quick without being pushy, tables are spaced well and the decor is modern. Definitely value for money so close to the centre of Weybridge, I'll be returning next month !
Excellent food, service is usually very good but on the last occasion we had a waiter who obviously didn't want to be there! He almost threw the dishes on the table and walked off, I had to ask him to come and explain the dishes which he did in a perfunctory way. Don't let this put you off, it's a great restaurant and one of the best Indian restaurants in the South East.
Had to ask for wine cooler for white wine, never came had to ask again.
The younger waiter was rushing our order and brought our bill before we even asked for it and it was even 10.30pm!!! Food was good but I wouldn't go back.
No warm welcome -- given table away from main area although pre booked and not busy. Staff showed little interest in us - appeared to lack training in basic waiting skills. Food was average, bland and little presentation. Good money for nothing special.
This is a great modern Indian with excellent food and friendly service. The owner has just got everything right. Well done.
I love this place, we only get to go out occasionally due to a young baby but whenever we get the night off we go here. The staff make you feel so welcome and the food is always top notch. Definitely the best restaurant in the weybridge area.
The food was generally well prepared and tasty.
The décor is a bit like café but it looks clean and modern.
It is pricy but considering the location (Weybridge) it is understandable.
I took a group of 8 people here and it was our first visit. We were seated promptly and the waiter explained the set price approach for groups and also checked for any food intolerances, which was good as we needed one gluten free meal. The selection of starters (including the special gluten free platter) were delicious. Although it's a set price you can pick your own main from the full menu, and they have a very interesting selection. Everyone was delighted with their choice and the meats (I had the Railway lamb) were cooker perfectly, very tender. The spicing was good, but not overpowering. All the plates were emptied....always a good sign.
We will definitely go back!
We went here for my birthday. The cocktails were excellent and the food was brilliant. It was a lovely menu with different dishes to your usual Indian restaurant. We will definitely be back
The room is nice and on a hot summer evening it was nice to have the large doors open. The staff are efficient but not over friendly. The food is good but expensive. Would definitely go again though having said all that
We had previously ordered a takeaway from this restaurant which was very good so decided to go there and eat on my birthday. It was a Monday evening and very few people there, I am sure there is more atmosphere on a Friday or Saturday evening but we still had a pleasant evening and good food.
great food, good service and good location. the wooden floors and brick walls can make it noisy especially if you're close to a group.
The food was excellent as always but this time the service was terrible, considering it wasn't very busy, we had eaten our poppadums before they even came and took our order, then didn't clear away it away until the main came.
The two previous times I have been the service has been excellent so disappointed with that, will defo go back for the food.
Discovered that No. 7 is the sister restaurant to my favourite; Mystica in Addlestone and it certainly didn't disappoint. I now have 2 favourites! Great fresh and tasty food - proper authentic Indian with a few original twists. Exceptional service and good value.
No doubt that No 7 Temple is a cut above most restaurants serving curry. The food is high quality and the restaurant is modern and attractive. The only problem is it is too noisy - we were a party of 4 and we had to shout to make ourselves heard above the ambient noise. The restaurant was busy, but not full - I think the fact that there are no soft furnishings to reduce the noise levels is the main problem. Also not helped by the music being played at too high a volume.
So, if you want good Asian cooking and a buzzy atmosphere, and don't mind having to shout above the hubbub, this is the restaurant for you.
Lovely friendly atmosphere, great attention to detail, food was amazing and delicious.
Will definitely be return and highly recommend.
The food was really good - different from many similar restaurants.
Stayed in Weybridge for the weekend, looked on Tripadvisor for some where to eat on the sat night. Chose Temple 7 and we were not disappointed! Great food, great ambience and great service made it a great night! Will certainly return when in Weybridge next.
Looked after us so well, it was our wedding anniversary and nothing was too much trouble. The service and food was excellent and would recommend.
Amazing restaurant, super helpful staff and wonderful food!
very good food and service would recommend and nice to see a place busy on a Thursday night, will be sure to visit again soon
As an Indian looking for a decent Indian restaurant I was sorely disappointed. The food is catered for English pallet which explains the reviews on here and the number of stars. If your looking for genuine Indian food then I wouldn't recommend this establishment at all. The food was below par and had no taste to the actual meat in a dish. One dish claiming to be hot and tasty was just bland chicken with chilli seeds on top and that was classed as their signature dish!
This is easiest the best Indian in town.
The lamb shank rogan josh was delicious, and I can't wait to go again.
It was busy so make sure you book. Because they were busy, We had a little hicup with drinks we ordered never coming to the table, but they were removed from the bill so there was no reason to complain.
4 of us ate at No.7 Temple on a Saturday evening. It is a spacious restaurant, with plenty of room between tables so that we were able to have good conversation without straining to hear each other. The restaurant was busy so it made for a good atmosphere. The service was excellent. The staff were friendly and efficient, and we weren't rushed to finish our meal, as is the case in a certain other Indian restaurant in Weybridge!
All 4 of us were pleased with the quality and quantity of our food. I would particularly recommend the signature dishes on the menu.
Food excellent ,delicate well spiced and delicious. The staff were very courteous and my only observation would be on the noise level within as the combination of background music being too loud, only increased people's voice level. Further to this it did appear that if you were less than beautiful you were placed in a dark corner at the back of the restaurant where other customers assumed they'd locate the loos.
Impressed with my first visit, stylish surroundings. Wasn't very full for a Thursday evening, service was ok, only offered drinks once. Menu very good, had takeaway before, so knew it was good food. Good company and a great night out. Will definately go back.
It was our first vist having booked after a recommendation by friends. The food was great, not your usual "Indian" and the service was top notch.
The food was good and the service was not bad. The real problem from the moment I stepped in was the very loud music which made the evening a bit of a strain. We were a party of 6 sitting around a large round table. I am not hard of hearing and had trouble following the conversations. It was disappointing as it had been recommended by a relative who on hearing my experience said they had been a party of 4 in the summer and sat at a smaller table and he had not noticed the music being loud. As this is not a cheap and cheerful restaurant I would expect a more relaxing experience.
Great Weybridge dining. Lovely vibe inside and slick decor. We loved the food. Possibly one of the most moreish curries we have had in ages. Certainly returning to try more of the menu. Keep it up guys.
Nice new Indian in Weybridge. Good menu with all the mainstream dishes but also some interesting specials. Lovely atmosphere, busy, good 'hubbub of sound', we went on a Saturday at 7.45 it was already buzzing. Price more expensive than others at Weybridge but a bit more of an occasion.
The initial greeting was lukewarm so I didn't have a very good first impression but one member of staff knew one of my party so the atmosphere got warmer. No freebies though. The menu is small and different which made a nice change, however it is a little pricey. Food quality and quantity was good and we all enjoyed our meal. Not a place to go for a midweek curry, more for a special occasion. I would recommend this restaurant and I will go again myself.
We all thought the food was good - not oily or greasy which you sometimes get in Indian restaurants.
We had the Tandoori king prawns, railway tava, chicken Madras and a hot version of the chicken Nirali - they were all good. The Tandoori king prawns tasted lovely but weren't in their shell so looked a little shrivelled.
The prices seem unecessarily high so it's not somewhere we'd go very often.
We celebrated New Years Eve at this restaurant. The venue is fantastic with a lovely ambiance. The staff are very attentive but no over bearing. They are all young and enthusiastic about the food they are service and the modern style of the venue.
The food was ok. I had the lamb which was lovely but the dal and sag were very very bland, they needed some garlic and ginger and seasoning.
The food is pricey for a local restaurant but its definitely a nice place to go for a special occasion.
A really good selection of 'classics' as well as some tasty options I've only seen here. Service was a little laboured at times but it was Christmas Eve... Tender lamb, juicy chicken and perfect Naan. Well worth checking out.
We visited on a Sunday early evening to celebrate a birthday. The restaurant looks lovely and the service was impeccable. The menu was small but very interesting. We are quite adventurous so did not choose the standard Indian dishes but took 4 different house specials. Each was excellent. We had too much of one main dish so they put it in a takeaway box for us. The peshwari naan was also delicious and we are quite fussy about this. All in all fabulous place that we shall definitely come back to. The only negative was that there were not many people in there but that could have been the fact that it was a Sunday coming up to Christmas. We will tell everyone we know about this wonderful restaurant.
The chicken monipuri is a favourite, medium and fruity, crunchy and suculent. We love the cocktails and the warm, friendly service. At this time of the year it is busy, but generally the earlier bookings are good for couples. We love this restaurant and our drive from Camberley is well worth the trip. Happy Christmas to all the staff and the great team you have become!
A fantastic meal with first class services. We will be returning!
Very disappointing- did not live up to the hype the signature 'railway lamb' particularly disappointingno need to
