Always great sushi! Generous on their wine proportions! Saki is good too
It was really nice to go too a restaurant that we just found out about. The food was amazing.
Michael Gonzales is a true gem and asset to your restaurant! He’s attentive, knowledgeable, and genuine. Cannot say enough about No Coast sushi! Favorite place in town.
A nice get together with long time friends at a fun/good place to eat! Enjoyed sharing our dishes!!! Good energy from the place and people!!!
Great food as always!!!
Consistently good meals prepared at the direction of a caring owner.
Eric and I have been going to No Coast since the opening day. We have just seen some things go down since this last year. Serving portions are smaller. The other night it was 9 pm when we were seated and I had to go up to our server to have him take our order. They were mopping around our table, which was gross. They were loud in the kitchen with loud music as if customers weren't there. Just disappointed.
Incomplete settings. Served food but no utensils. Table missing basics ie: dish for soy sauce no ginger or wasabi. Serving of fish was extremely small.
First time here and the sushi was great. Fish is very fresh and the food quality matches up to the best in Denver. Very impressive. Service was excellent also.
We arrived earlier than our party, and the server did not acknowledge us for 15 minutes. I ordered seared tuna, which I've had before - a good size serving for $18 - and I received a small tuna "rose" in the center of my plate for $27! Terrible value! My husband ordered the Poison Ivy Specialty roll, which used to be noticeably larger than a regular, say, California roll. The roll was very small for $17. Again, terrible value! We have been dining at No Coast for years, but I don't think we'll be back.
The food was outstanding, service excellent despite the place being super busy. We really enjoyed our dinner there.
One of my absolute favorite places to eat!!!!!!!!!
No Coast is always delicious! Sometimes can get a little crowded and loud, a bit pricey in my opinion but we always end up here for special occasions.
Great experience as usual.
Server Conor was awesome
Always a pleasure talking to him.
It was our first time dining at this particular sushi restaurant. The food was outstanding, but the service left something to be desired... which was very disappointing considering our dinner came with a $138 price tag (my husband had 2 local beers, and I had one mixed drink and one cider). We never received our "complementary" miso soup although having it offered once, and asking for it twice. It was also hard to get our server's attention to order another roll, or another drink. We will go back for the food, but maybe not as much as we would if the service was better.
We had a wonderful family dinner there last Saturday night. We made a reservation and they had our table ready right away. It was perfect as they set us right in front of a large fish tank, which our two year found fascinating! Although it was extremely busy and therefore a little slow, the pace of the courses worked out well since we were eating a lot. Our server was friendly, yet to the point which I appreciate. He checked in often and was responsive to our requests. They comped our Sake on their own accord due to the delay, which was a thoughtful gesture and we weren't even upset. It was an excellent evening for the three of us.
Great sushi and creative dishes. The ambiance is certainly lacking but service was wonderful and our wait staff was well informed about the food
Go. It's as authentic a Japanese Restaurant as you'll find in these parts, the food is very tasty, the service excellent, the prices moderate. Young clientele and a busy place still allowed us to have a decent conversation. Give it a try. There's something for every taste within this cuisine.
Excellent dining at this restaurant. The best Sushi in town. The staff is very friendly, we were greeted at the door by a couple of different staff members and the General Manager. The food is wonderful and always fresh food and a variety of foods for the meal and desserts. Our server was outgoing, friendly and very knowledgeable of the menu and the drinks.
We have enjoyed No Coast for six years running now in conjunction with our annual Tour of the Moon cycling experience. Food never disappoints and value is solid. It was busy this past Satruday and service suffered a bit.
No Coast is said to be the best sushi restaurant in the area, but I am disappointed in the new way the rolls are served. We ordered 4 rolls and they were all put on one dinner size plate. The portions were smaller and didn't have the special way sushi rolls are usually served.
Our bill was over $54 for 4 rolls, an appetizer and 2 sake. Not something I care to repeat often unless we can get out monies worth.
I really like this place! They use real crab, fish is high quality and good wine selection.
Very sweet spot with locally sourced and seasonal options. Surprisingly hey have 3 vegan rolls on the sushi menu. Something for everyone here with attentive service.
Sad to see that the prices went up as we only get to eat there as a treat once in a great while as it is but as always THE best food ever.
There are not many options for sushi here in GJ, so we thought we would try No Coast, but was disappointment. It was extremely overpriced for what we got, and the qualifty of the sushi was subpar. The ambiance was also something that we were dissatisfied with. We love to go out on Friday nights but we felt like we couldn't talk or enjoy ourselves because the room was so small and quite. I wouldn't recommend this place to anybody, but if they need a quick fix for sushi, it wouldn't be a bad place.
No Coast Sushi added local peaches to their Sake Margarita for a great midsummer taste. Enjoyed another excellent meal. It is always great food.
No Coast serves consistently delicious food. Their service is always amazing and the staff is friendly. It's one of my favorite restaurants.
Always great service and quality food with attention to presentation and unique flavors.
The Health Nut roll was outstanding. The food took awhile due to problems in the kitchen, however our server was awesome and my wife and I had a great time there.
Amazing experience every time my fiance and I go here! Waiters are super attentive and great attitudes, definitely a great place to eat.
Considering there is not an ocean close by, the Sushi was fantastic!
Enjoyed the experience!
All was great as usual.
New server was very attentive.
Our server Casey was very helpful with menu selections.
She provided great service and food was right on in flavor.
IF you are looking for truly fresh sushi that tastes outstanding and looks it as well, this is the place. It is what they say it is and you will not be disappointed. Friends we met there have traveled the country sushi dining saying they would give this experience a 9.5! The drink options were a great surprise finding popular local options.
Thank you No Coast Sushi for a great evening and finally a great dining experience in Grand Junction, CO.
Food was not great for $$. Not tasty not authentic.
No Coast is a family favorite of ours. Every single visit has been awesome! The service & food are always spot on. We have never had a single negative experience when dining here. The owner embodies a welcoming atmosphere and tight-knit crew. We are always greeted with friendly smiles & hugs. I love the fact that they incorporate local ingredients as much as possible. I have been to other sushi restaurants in town and can't bring myself to eat at them anymore because they just don't compare to No Coast. It truly is top notch!
Great service, great food
We always enjoy our dining experience.
We always enjoy dining at No Coast Sushi. Last night we had the pleasure of Holly for our server and she was on top of everything we requested. She also had several tables besides ours. Perfect evening, great food.
Thank you Holly.
Typically our "go-to" place yet our last two visits, I've noticed the food quality slipping. Bummer for sure because this is a great place with great service. I hope they can pull it back together!
