Fantastic pasta! Staff was great, love the decor, both outdoor and indoor seating, can't go wrong!
Nothing glaringly wrong but nothing to make me want to return either. Nice atmosphere and service. The menu was rather small and a bit overpriced. Guess I just prefer more choices. Food was okay, nothing special. With so many restaurant choices in the area I would choose something else next time.
Pasta I ordered tasted u see pokes and when I asked for spices and chili flakes to be added in they said they did but the pasta tasted neutral. The folks working there were super nice and hospital and gave me company since I was dining on my own.
Service was great but food and cocktails were nothing special.
We went here for my wife’s birthday.
The food was very tasty and the service was outstanding.
Our only complaint is that everything sounded and looked amazing making our decisions for entrees hard. But our waitress Kelsey was very helpful.
We will definitely be back.
Solid, reliable service and food. A go-to for our family!
Consistently good. A 'go to' Decatur place. Server was a little distracted as he had too many tables and slow to check on us but nice evening otherwise.
What a lovely restaurant! We went for my husband's birthday, and it was a fine place to celebrate. Above all the service is excellent with attention to details. The wait staff is friendly, professional, and knowledgeable. Can't wait to return!
Absolutely amazing service! Our waitress was energetic and attentive and didn't rush us. The food was phenomenal-I got the rigatoni, but sampled the black pasta as well. Incredible variety for drinks and overall fantastic ambiance. 10/10 would recommend to anyone looking for a perfect date night or place to celebrate a special occasion, or someone who just wants stellar food!
We had an amazing birthday dinner! Best chicken Marsala I’ve ever had. Sit outside and play ping pong if you can!
Great food with an outstanding service. Matt our waiter, was amazing! Thank you Matt and keep up the great work!
Great for a date night! Atmosphere is very nice and mellow. Good food and good service. A little pricey, but overall a good choice!
The all round best restaurant on the east side of Atlanta. Consistently fantastic over the years.
Wonderful place, but too loud to hear our dinner guests without shouting and straining.
This is my family's go-to restaurant for a special occasion when we want Italian food. While it's a little noisier than I would prefer, the food and service are some of the best I've ever had. It's my favorite pasta in metro Atlanta, and definitely the best in Decatur. The cocktail menu is fun, and the wine selection is broad enough to offer good pairings with any of the delicious food.
Always wonderful! My go-to place for any night out!
Pasta dish was an unpleasant experience. The pasta both the black and white were too thick and tough. Very chewy!!
We have to sit outside at 246 because inside is too loud for following a conversation. But in good weather, the porch is wonderful and very serene. The food and service are great.
The service and staff are outstanding..while i didnt like the appearance of the black spaghetti which was probably delicious they changed it to a good another selection with no issues. I ended up with another meatball(delicious by the way) and a salad. So yummy!
best italian food in atlanta! it was my first time going there and they exceeded all expectations
It took us a while for anyone to come to the table and offer water, etc. Our waiter was hustling, I just think he may have had too many tables. Food was great, just ordered too much. Also, I noted that it was our Anniversary and no one acknowledged it. Not a big deal, but kinda disappointing. Overall we had a good experience.
Overall the food was creative and delicious and the service was very attentive making the entire experience very enjoyable. The noise level did get a little too high making it difficult to have a conversation with my dinner guests.
Food was good, but not up to previous standards. We had a very long wait and the pasta dish was dry like it had been sitting for awhile.
Great brunch with friends, food is delicious, service is on point.
Second time back and was just ok. Pasta while made fresh was too al Dente, service slow and not very busy.
Great food great service. I will defiantly be back.
Love the ambiance there. Food was excellent and that was for all 5 of us who were there.
Meh, I’ve had much better authentic and “locally influenced” Italian food at much better prices. Service was great, but the cost of the food far outweighs the taste. Probably won’t be back as there are many other and better options. Came here to celebrate our 1 year wedding anniversary... we will have a redo somewhere else.
I loved the food in general. I think the baked Ricotta could use some more flavor, and the flavors of the salmon Benedict didn't really add up nicely (salmon and caper saltiness overpowered the hollandaise). The ricotta fritters were amazing, though almost a third of them were very hard and/or had no cheese in them. The ones that did though were probably the most delicious I've ever had. The cornbread was great, and the berry crostata was a fantastic end to the meal. The dish that won the night was the squid ink pasta - absolutely amazing.
Service from Neil? was exceptional. He took time to personalize our experience and we thoroughly enjoyed his attention. Food was very good (simple but delicious). We will definitely be back!
must get the baked ricotta - my fave! Delicious dinner, great service. Enjoyed celebrating my daughters birthday.
The food here is top notch -- very creative in terms of ingredients and combinations while sticking to the tried and true flavors you expect from high-quality Italian food. Our server was very attentive too and the staff works collaboratively to ensure your food is delivered when ready from the kitchen. The only reason I gave the overall rating of four stars (rather than 5) is based on what we felt to be an odd choice in seating. We went on a Monday night when the restaurant was not quite half full, yet we were seated at a two-top in between two other occupied two-tops. Totally understand this when a restaurant is full or nearly full, but we were there for 1.5 hours and the restaurant never got more than half full. There were plenty of other seating options that would not have felt so cramped on a night when the restaurant had the seating options available.
We were treated royally on our 40th anniversary and enjoyed a sumptuous meal. very good food and wine in an ambience that balances vibe and quiet, modernist chic and rustic. We always enjoy 246.
I had Shrimp and grits but did not look at the ingredients would not have ordered it if I knew they had dates in it. Ordered cornbread for the table as an appetizer it came out like a piece of cake. So if you’re looking for traditional Italian or southern food just understand it has their flair add it to the dishes.
246 has become our go to restaurant to celebrate any occasion. It never disappoints, the food and service are always top notch.
Best restaurant ever — the service, food and atmosphere are perfect.
Great meal and perfect location for those in Emory area. Pizza, meatballs, buratta all great. Serbice very good and will go back.
Everything from the beginning to the end was phenomenal. The server was outstanding and the food was great.
Always a great meal here, I always bring visitors here for a sure bet! Zach was friendly and attentive, dinner and drinks were delicious!
